TXT's Stylist Receives Complaints Over Bland Styling Choices For Group's Recent Stage Outfits

Behind the shimmering and glimmering of stars on red carpets and music videos is a carefully intricate team that styles each group according to a crafted concept. Particularly with K-pop groups, synchronisation is important when going out as a group, but a little diversity in looks between members should also be considered. Recently, netizens have been calling out TXT's (TOMORROW X TOGETHER/투모로우바이투게더) stylist for messy and un-tailored stage outfits. Compared to their colourful and diverse clothing options before, netizens have pointed out how monotonous the group's styling has been even during award shows. Netizens from the Korean community page TheQoo have expressed their opinions on recent styling choices for TXT's stage outfits. A point of argument from fans explains how the group's outfits used to be more detailed and had different colours and variations to them compared to now. Netizens attribute the poor reception from fans is due to the clothes' dull colours, careless fits and details that lack of any clear concept of what the group is going for. Netizens are outraged over the continuous misses on TXT's outfit choices with one netizen commenting, 'TXT? Just a T-shirt and jeans? No styling, colours look old, even worse than their private clothes. What's the stylist thinking?'. Fans also relate the issue to BTS, who are also under the same label, Bit Hit Music. A netizen from the Korean community platform, TheQoo, comments, 'BTS are seniors but they also wear poorly fitted clothes. Even if you focus on how they are juniors, it's not like they need dozens of people for coordination'. The user continues that even if the company is small and understaffed, the problem with their styling would not escalate as so. Currently, not much is made public about TXT's current stylist due to their former stylist, Rakta, going under fire for her styling choices for the group before. However, we do hope the team can improve on the group's styling. What do you think about TXT's outfits now versus before? Sources: Twitter, TheQoo Alyssa Gabrielle contributed to this article

(Video) THE BOYZ Kicks Off Comeback With First Trailer For 10th Mini Album 'a;effect'

Since leaving their previous agency, K-pop group THE BOYZ (더보이즈) have taken charge of their sound, creating music that feels more raw, bold, and connected to their fans than ever before. Four months after their last major album, the group is back with new music! Following Ju Haknyeon (주학년)'s departure from the group on the 18th June (Wednesday), fans began to question the group's next move. To the surprise of many, THE BOYZ quickly released a trailer for their upcoming mini album 'a; effect'. This marks their first album as a 9-member group, with leader Sangyeon (상연) currently fulfilling his military service. THE BOYZ debuted in 2017 under their former agency, IST Entertainment, with the mini-album 'The First' showcasing tight performances and strong teamwork. They quickly gained traction and released hit songs like 'The Stealer', 'Reveal', and 'No Air'. In late 2024, their contract with IST expired and all members signed with a new agency, One Hundred. Set for release on the 28th July (Monday), the new album seems to showcase a more nostalgic vibe, embracing the youthful and boyish energy of the group. The teaser film for 'a;effect' hints at a return to their earlier, more innocent concepts, possibly drawing inspiration from their debut era. This shift suggests a deliberate move to reconnect with fans through a more familiar and heartfelt aesthetic. With their new album and the highly anticipated 'THE BLAZE' tour scheduled for later this year, THE BOYZ showcase their resilience and passion like never before. Even through challenges, they maintain an impressive level of energy and commitment, proving their strength as a group. THE BOYZ's steadfast dedication assures THE B (THE BOYZ fans) that the group will continue to deliver memorable performances and sincere music.
