The bloodcurdling words screamed over 911 call as American Idol producer Robin Kaye and husband were murdered
Robin Kaye, a longtime music supervisor on the hit singing competition show, and her husband Thomas Deluca, both 70, were found dead in their $5million gated home in Los Angeles ' ritzy Encino neighborhood on July 14.
Raymond Boodarian, an Encino resident, was later arrested 'without incident' after having allegedly called police and provided authorities with his name.
Investigators believe Boodarian, 22, was burglarizing the residence July 10 while the couple was away and shot them when they suddenly returned.
Police received two burglary calls at the couple's home the day they were killed, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by the Los Angeles Times.
The first call came in shortly after 4pm in which a neighbor reported that an unknown man was trying to break into the residence.
Police received a second call roughly 40 minutes later from someone inside the property claiming to be a resident. The caller alleged that someone had broken in and could be heard begging another person not to shoot them.
The caller, whose identity is not clear, later advised dispatch that officer response was unnecessary, the affidavit claims. Additional attempts to reach the caller were unsuccessful.
The search warrant does not specify if the call was made from one of the victims or if it came from Boodarian pretending to be a resident.
LA County DA Nathan Hochman revealed during a town hall Monday the suspect used his personal cellphone to call police after the incident, which ultimately led to him being tracked down.
'Mr. Boodarian got caught because he used his cellphone to contact police concerning this situation,' Hochman told the meeting, NBC 4 reports. 'He actually identified himself.'
Boodarian had already been inside the couple's home for about 30 minutes on July 10 when Kaye and Deluca unexpectedly arrived home.
CCTV footage obtained by investigators allegedly shows the suspect entering the home in an attempted burglary. He did not force entry and instead found an open way to get inside.
He allegedly shot the couple dead with their own firearm during a struggle when they caught him in the act.
The couple's bodies were discovered in the $5million mansion four days later after officers carried out a welfare check.
Boodraian was arrested on July 15 and charged with two counts of murder two days later. He also faces burglary charges. His arraignment is scheduled for August 20.
The suspect has at least three prior arrests including charges of battery, threatening to commit a crime with intent to terrorize, and exhibiting a deadly weapon.
Fingerprints from his previous arrests also helped investigators identify him as a suspect in the grisly killings of Kaye and Deluca.
Officers responded to the residence on the day of their slayings, but were unable to get inside the couple's high-security property which is guarded with an 8-foot spiked wall and surveillance cameras.
Cops circled the perimeter and had a helicopter swoop over the property, but were unable to gain access via the ground.
Officers saw no visible signs of forced entry and the chopper flying overhead did not alert officers to any dangers, so they left the scene.
Police sources allege Boodarian was likely inside the property as officers responded to the residence on July 10.
Boodarian is believed to have entered through a single unlocked door while his alleged victims were out grocery shopping.
It is unclear if he pulled the door shut behind him, but he is then said to have laid in wait inside until they returned.
They returned to the six-bedroom estate four days later at 2.30pm following a call for a welfare check, shattering a back window to gain access to the home.
When they entered, they discovered Kaye and Deluca both shot in the head.
He then used his personal cellphone to call police after the incident and even provided authorities with his name, which ultimately led to him being tracked down
Kaye was with American Idol for more than 15 years and was working on the upcoming season at the time of her death.
Over the years, she won several Guild of Music Supervisors Awards for her work on the show. She also worked for other well-known shows, including Lip Sync Battle, Hollywood Game Night, and Worn Stories.
Kaye worked for the NAACP Image Awards, The Singing Bee, Miss USA, Miss Universe, American Inventor, The Dance Scene, Dance Your A** Off, Your Chance to Dance and Adventures of Power and Crashed.
During the 7th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards in Hollywood in 2017, Kaye spoke about her career path, which she said was often unappreciated.
'It's one of those parts of the business that people don't even know it exists,' Kaye said. 'It's a very important part of films and TV. Pretty much everything in the entertainment industry has music in it and people just think that it's there.'
Her husband was a musician who last released an album called Street Rock in 2022.
His first 'acclaimed cult favorite debut' album, 'Down To The Wire,' was released by Epic Records in 1986, Deluca's website detailed.
Deluca penned songs for popular hit makers, including Kid Rock, the band Molly Hatchet and Meredith Brooks.
The couple purchased the home in January 2023, according to public records.
It was previously owned by late rapper Juice WRLD who died in 2019 from an overdose, neighbors told KTLA.
The home was also reportedly used a rental property before being sold to the couple.

Delta pilot arrested in front of shocked passengers on flight from Minneapolis to San Francisco after landing into SFO
A DELTA co-pilot has been arrested and cops were reportedly seen storming the cockpit after the passenger plane landed. Around 10 agents, some from Homeland Security, boarded the plane after it landed at San Francisco airport on Saturday. The plane had taken off from Minneapolis airport earlier in the day, as reported by the ABC affiliate KGO-TV. Travelers were preparing to disembark when they saw the commotion at the front of the plane. 'We were all shocked and stunned. What was happening?' one passenger, known as Sarah, said. Sarah documented what unfolded on board the aircraft. "They barged through and stormed the cockpit," she said. "They removed the co-pilot, cuffed him, presumably arrested him." Sarah said the co-pilot was then flanked by officers, walked down the aisle, and taken off the plane. She recalled how the cabin crew seemed bewildered by what was going on. "I looked at him [the pilot] and I said 'What's going on?'" one told the Fox affiliate KMSP-TV. The traveler said passengers were standing up on the plane, a Boeing 757-300, getting ready to grab their bags from the overhead lockers. Another passenger told The San Francisco Chronicle that some of the agents who stormed onto the plane were carrying guns. The traveler said the agents had badges and vests with letters on them. Once the co-pilot was taken off the plane, some agents then re-boarded the aircraft to collect his belongings. A Boeing 757-300 twin-engine jet can carry up to 295 passengers and can travel at a maximum speed of 571 mph. The plane's arrival into San Francisco was delayed due to heavy fog. More than 50 million people passed through San Francisco airport last year. In 2023, the airport was named the 13th busiest airport in the US. "This is an ongoing local investigation with the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office," a Homeland Security spokesperson told The Chronicle. Delta officials are yet to issue a statement. 2 .

Small boat migrant found dead riddled with bullets on French coast after being gunned down ‘by people smugglers'
A SMALL boat migrant has been found dead after being shot seven times by suspected people smugglers - with a murder enquiry launched. The deceased man - in his late teens or early 20s – is the latest victim of a surge of shootings around a camp at Loon-Plage, on the outskirts of Dunkirk. 3 3 3 Investigating sources revealed on Monday: "He was hit by seven bullets. "The camp was full of people hoping to get to Britain, when he was confronted by gunmen. "Around twenty bullets were fired in all, and seven entered the man's body." The source added how emergency service workers were at the scene but tragically couldn't save him. The Dunkirk prosecutor visited the crime scene, which on Monday was blocked off, and surrounded by armed police. The hunt was meanwhile launched for the "suspected people smugglers" responsible for murder, said the source. It was the latest in a long list of heinous shootings around Loon-Plage beach, from where small inflatable boats with migrants onboard regularly set off for Britain. In June, a Sudanese man was shot dead and a mother-and-child wounded by suspected people smugglers the same camp. The horrific bloodbath unfolded when a gang opened fire on specific targets, while hitting passers-by. Two males – a man and a 17-year-old minor connected to a people smuggling gang – were then arrested, and face charges of "murder by an organised gang' and "attempted murder by an organised gang." There were also charges related to possession of a range of weapons, believed to include pistols and rifles. Migrant hotel protesters take to the streets again as demonstrations spread across the country in weekend stand-off Beyond the dead Sudanese man, three other men were seriously wounded and taken to hospital in Dunkirk. All of the violence is said to be linked to people smugglers "settling scores" against those who do not pay them. The cost of a single voyage to Britain in a small boat is now as much as £1500 cash. In December, a gun enthusiast was charged with the murders of five men including UK-bound migrants around Loon Plage. Frenchman Paul Domis, 22, was remanded in custody after confessing to a lethal shooting spree in the area. During less than an hour of intense violence, Domis allegedly targeted three former colleagues, and two Iraqi-Kurds who had intended to get to Britain on small boats. Charlotte Huet, the Dunkirk prosecutor, said Domis faced 'life in prison' for 'three targetted assassinations' of men he knew, and two further charges of 'murder' of the migrants. Domis will be remanded in custody until a quintuple murder trial is held later this year, or in 2026. The Loon-Plage camp is an illegal one, but growing everyday as migrants from all over the world arrive. In the first half of this year, some 20,000 migrants crossed the English Channel to the UK, up almost 50 per cent on the corresponding period last year. Numbers of what the British government calls "irregular migrants" keep rising, with 638 arriving on the coast of England in the seven days to last Friday. Bruno Retailleau, France's Interior Minister, regularly pledges tougher action against the highly organised smuggling guns operating in northern France. He said: "Our government will intensify the fight against these mafias who are getting rich by organising these crossings of death."

Six killed in Bangkok market after gunman opens fire
BANGKOK, July 28 (Reuters) - At least six people were killed when a gunman opened fire at a market in Thailand's capital Bangkok on Monday, Thai police said in a statement. The fatalities include the gunman who took his own life, Charin Gopatta, Deputy Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, told Reuters. "Police are investigating the identity of the person and the motive for the incident," Thai police said in a statement. The five people killed by the gunman were security guards at the market, it said. No tourists were killed or injured in the shooting incident, said Sanong Saengmani, a police official in Bangkok's Bang Sue district, where the market that mainly sells agricultural produce is located. Tourism is a key economic driver in Thailand, Southeast Asia's second largest economy, where growth has been sluggish and such incidents can potentially dampen sentiment. In video footage shared by police, a suspect in a white hat and a backpack slung on his chest is seen walking through a parking lot at the market. Gun violence and gun ownership are not uncommon in Thailand. In October 2023, a 14-year-old suspect used a modified handgun to kill two people and injure five others at a luxury mall in central Bangkok. A year earlier, a former police officer killed 36 people, including 22 children, in a gun-and-knife attack at a nursery in eastern Thailand.
