Jay-Z appeared to warn Beyoncé about wardrobe malfunction at Grammys 2025: ‘Absolute sabotage'

Yahoo05-02-2025
But she still runs the world.
Beyoncé had a flawless night at the 2025 Grammy Awards — for the most part.
Following Sunday's show, viewers noticed that Bey, 43, actually suffered a wardrobe malfunction onstage as she was accepting the award for Best Country Album.
During her speech, what appeared to be the white underwire of Beyoncé's Schiaparelli gown was visibly poking into her chest.
TikToker Chauntee Ross drew attention to the mishap with a video that has over 1.8 million views as of Tuesday morning.
'Who dressed her? Her bra wire is popping out,' someone screamed in the video. 'Who did this? Who did this to her? That was sabotage. Absolute sabotage.'
'We all know what that bra wire stab feel like,' another person said with a laugh.
The caption of Ross' video read, 'Whoever let this happen must be fired immediately! Congrats tho to my queen!'
Meanwhile on X (formerly Twitter), fans realized that Jay-Z appeared to tell his wife that her underwire was showing.
Jay-Z, 55, hugged Bey — who was stunned over her win — and whispered something in her ear. Bey then adjusted the top of her dress before she hugged daughter Blue Ivy, 13, and walked to the stage.
'JAY-Z telling his wife Beyoncé that the underwire of her bra was showing before she went on stage,' read the viral tweet with over 4 million views.
'He is looking out for her and wants her to look her best,' one fan tweeted about the moment between the couple.
'That's real love,' another person wrote.
Later in the show, the 'Cowboy Carter' crooner won her first Album of the Year Grammy — but this time her underwire wasn't visible for the audience and people watching at home.
'It's been many, many years,' Beyoncé said in her Album of the Year speech, with her oldest daughter by her side.
'I just feel very full and very honored,' she added.
Bey did not expect to win the Grammy for Best Country Album after being snubbed out of any nominations by the CMA Awards last year.
Her shocked reaction — including the moment that Blue Ivy reminded her mom to get up from her seat and go toward the stage — went viral on social media.
Taylor Swift honored the 'Texas Hold 'Em' singer with the coveted award, making her the first black woman to ever win in the category.
She beat out Post Malone's 'F-1 Trillion,' Kacey Musgraves' 'Deeper Well,' Chris Stapleton's 'Higher' and Lainey Wilson's 'Whirlwind.'
'Wow, I really was not expecting this,' she said in her speech. 'Wow. I want to thank God. Oh my God! That I'm able to still do what I love after so many years. Oh my God.'

Jordon Hudson didn't appreciate Mary Kay Cabot's joke about Bill Belichick

Nearly three months after Jordon Hudson took the football world by storm, by reportedly storming out of a CBS interview — and by directing North Carolina coach Bill Belichick to not respond to the simple question of how they met — Hudson had largely faded into the background of Belichick's looming debut as the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels. She's now interjecting herself into the conversation again, by responding to the joke made on Friday night by Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. After explaining how Belichick would yell at Cabot during her early years on the Browns beat, Cabot said this: 'Now I totally understand why Bill gave me such a hard time,' Cabot said. 'I was 28 at the time and he just couldn't relate to a woman that old.' Was it objectively funny? Of course it was. In the cesspool formerly known as Twitter, however, plenty of humorless still reside. One of them responded to our tweet of Cabot's joke with this: 'Not much of a 'laugh.' No wonder so many have contempt for the media, especially those who want to be the story rather than roprt [sic] on the story.' That's when it got interesting. Hudson saw our tweet. She saw the response. And she reposted the response. Hey, she can do whatever she wants. But there's a real risk of coming off as woefully thin skinned when whining about a joke that goes with the low-hanging-fruit territory of a 49-year age difference. It all goes back to one of the common themes of fame. People who crave attention think they can have it on their own terms. That's not how it works. With the exposure comes scrutiny. And life becomes a lot easier when you learn how to ignore the criticism.

Coldplay's Grammy-Winning Song Triples Its Sales In One Week

Coldplay's catalog has been climbing steadily for several weeks now, driven up and up by a mix of the momentum generated by the band's ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour, as well as several moments of virality. During the latest leg of the trek, one of Coldplay's older tunes, 'Sparks,' unexpectedly picked up steam on TikTok, becoming a win on the charts thanks to renewed exposure. Around the same time, a kiss cam inadvertently exposed an affair between the CEO and head of HR at a company, and that saga has remained in the news ever since. Amidst all that excitement, several Coldplay classics have bounded up various Billboard charts, and one of the band's most successful singles has returned to a new peak position – and it almost gives the group another No. 1. 'Viva La Vida' Returns to a Pair of Charts 'Viva La Vida' reappears on a pair of rankings in the United States this week, breaking back onto both the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart and the Alternative Streaming Songs tally. The smash lands at No. 14 on the streaming-only list, missing its previously-set high point by just one spot, and it performs significantly better when it comes to purchases. 'Viva La Vida' reenters the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart at No. 2, reaching a new all-time peak. Only 'Punkrocker' by Teddybears and Iggy Pop, which opened in first place last frame, blocks the Grammy-winning track from ruling. Half a Dozen No. 1 Smashes Coldplay has already earned six No. 1 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. The group has previously led the charge on this tally with 'My Universe' alongside BTS, 'A Sky Full of Stars,' 'We Pray' alongside Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna and Tini, 'Midnight' and 'Paradise.' Another No. 2 Hit 'Viva La Vida' is Coldplay's ninth single to peak in the runner-up spot on this ranking. That collection of near-chart-toppers includes familiar tracks like 'Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall,' 'Hymn for the Weekend,' 'Higher Power,' and 'All My Love,' among others. Sales Grew By More Than 200% Sales of 'Viva La Vida' skyrocketed recently, growing more than 200% from one frame to the next. According to Luminate, the former Hot 100 champion sold just under 500 copies one week, and then almost 1,600 the following frame. At the moment, Coldplay fills four spaces on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, and all of those tunes are mounting comebacks.
