Christine McGuinness reveals ex Paddy's reaction to her dating women
Former Top Gear presenter Paddy, 51, split from Christine, 37, in 2022 after 15 years together. The pair share children Penelope, Felicity and Leo together.
In a candid interview, the TV star, who still lives with her former husband, has opened up on dating, insisting she has no plans to walk down the aisle again.
She told the Daily Mail: 'We spoke about this after we separated – what are we comfortable with, how much did we want to share – because neither of us wants to wake up and find the other on the front page of a newspaper.
'But it's been three years now, I don't need to know what he's doing and he doesn't need to know about me.
'It just stays outside the home.'
When asked if she would ever bring a date home to the property she shares with Paddy, Christine shrieked: 'No way! Even if I lived on my own it would be a long time before I took that step.
'I was messaging an amazing woman last year, and it took three months before I agreed to meet her for a date.'
Discussing marriage after her split from Paddy, she added: 'I don't mean I'm traumatised by marriage; I was just so young then. I didn't understand how you're legally tied to someone if you're married.
'I want to be in a committed relationship, but I want the freedom to walk away.'
Last year singer-songwriter, Chelcee Grimes revealed her seemingly hostile feelings towards Christine.
Chelcee, 32, and The Real Housewives of Cheshire star were spotted kissing multiple times over the past two years after Christine's split from Paddy.
While the two women never confirmed rumours they were dating, any possible romance seems to have ended.
In a post captioned 'private but not a secret', Chelcee debuted her new relationship with an unknown woman and appeared to allude to an estrangement between her and Christine after liking a comment in which a person called the TV star 'a fake'.
The comment, which read: 'Christine is fake as they come, Chelcee deserved so much better. Christine can keep trying to get attention and fake a new romance', was made under Chelcee's post where she showed off her new partner.
It remains unclear what happened between the two women, however, Chelcee seemed to share some inside information when she replied to a fan's comment.
'Oh I adored you with Christine,' @Samanthawoods4044 wrote. Adding, 'Please say its her in a wife she has one of them bracelets in her vid too.' More Trending
Christine and Paddy announced their separation in 2022 shortly after their documentary, Our Family and Autism aired.
'We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify,' they said in a joint statement.
'A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus was as always is to continue loving and supporting our children. This was not an easy decision to make but we're moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children. We'll always be a loving family, we still have a great relationship and still live happily in our family home together.'
'We hope this now draws a line under anymore unwanted and unnecessary intrusion into our private life. Although we work in the public eye we ask kindly if you could respect our wishes for privacy on this matter. We'll be making no further comment.'

Shock jock Howard Stern's show in jeopardy amid cancellation rumors in stunning move that's left staff blindsided
The future of Howard Stern 's 20-year SiriusXM radio show is in jeopardy as the end of his $500million five-year contract looms. Shock jock Stern, 71, has hosted the second incarnation of The Howard Stern Show since 2006, but a show insider confirmed to the Daily Mail that the host is in 'very serious negotiations' with SiriusXM on whether he will renew his contract. Stern's shift from having the most fearsome reputation in American entertainment to being what Kanye West described as an 'irrelevant old man' has been dramatic in recent years and he has faced backlash after admitting he was proudly 'woke'. The insider said: 'He may do a 1-2 year contract if they can meet him where he wants financially. He doesn't want to pull the plug on his employees like this.' A separate source said Stern was considering 'parting ways' with SiriusXM - and that his staff of 'around 95' writers and producers had only recently heard about Stern's indecision over the show's future. They added the star 'will likely sell his catalogue of shows to replay' on uncensored channels Howard 100 and Howard 101. Shock jock Stern, 71, has hosted the second incarnation of The Howard Stern Show since 2006, but a show insider confirmed to the Daily Mail that the host is in 'very serious negotiations' with SiriusXM on whether he will renew his contract - he's pictured with Madonna in 2015 'He is off in the summer but this year has been saying "maybe I should retire"', the source said. It is possible Stern could also return for specials with SiriusXM. The source claimed Stern was also displeased over SiriusXM 'leaning heavily' on fellow radio star Andy Cohen. Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Howard Stern, SiriusXM and Andy Cohen for comment and has yet to hear back. In 2023 after hearing claims that he's 'not good anymore' Stern declared: 'By the way, I kind of take that as a compliment, that I'm woke. I'll tell you how I feel about it. To me the opposite of woke, is being asleep. 'And if woke means I can't get behind Trump, which is what I think it means, or that I support people who want to be transgender or I'm for the vaccine, dude call me woke as you f*****g want.' The radio star's career fell from having 20 million listeners a day to to figures fans believe are as low as 125,000. He has predominately broadcast from his home over the past five years, citing fears over COVID-19. Dubbed the 'King of all Media' - Stern first launched The Howard Stern Show in 1986 on terrestrial radio. Stern decided to take on the challenge of pulling together interviews over the years where he was able to draw out shocking confessions. President Donald Trump has been on the show more than 20 times – calling in or being in the studio because he was willing to say anything. In 1997, he admitted to seeing a lot of women and when asked if he wore a rubber he said he hoped for the best. He also branded daughter Ivanka 'very voluptuous' in an 2006 interview. In 2019 book Howard Stern Comes Again the DJ confessed that his biggest regret is that he never got to apologize to Robin Williams after his interview in the early nineties. 'When Robin came on the show, I spent the entire time badgering him about how he had divorced his first wife and remarried his son's former nanny. I was attacking the guy, and he was justifiably furious with me', Stern writes. Stern only realized years later that he needed to apologize – after years of psychotherapy to understand his own narcissism that had prevented him from even considering what someone else might be feeling. Twenty years after the interview, he got up the nerve but it was too late. Robin died before Stern could make that call. 'I'm still filled with sadness over his loss and remorse for my failure to reach out sooner', he admitted. Kim and Khloe Kardashian came on Stern's show in 2009 and he admitted, 'I didn't understand their talent. I didn't even know if they had one.' So he asked Khloe about dating black men. 'Once you go black, you just never go back,' she said, admitting to only have dated black men. But Kim said Khloe's rule isn't' always true. 'She's only black guys, I'm not'. 'Maybe it's because we have such big a**es, like the black guys like,' Kim said. Both admitted to liking to be spanked, getting their hair pulled and talking dirty in bed. Stern hosted and produced late night television shows, pay-per-view events and home videos, and wrote three books, two of which sold over one million copies. He has become controversial for some comments he made over the years, including saying some of the girls running from the Columbine High School shooting were 'really good looking girls.' 'Did those kids try to have sex with any of those good-looking girls?' he asked on his show, about the shooters. 'They didn't even do that? At least if you're going to kill yourself and kill the kids, why wouldn't you have some sex? If I was going to kill some people, I'd take them out with sex.' In 1992 he also mused that the 'closest I came to making love to a black woman' was when 'I masturbated to a picture of Aunt Jemima on a pancake box,'. In March 1995, when Selena's fans reeled from her shooting he made fun of them, playing gunshots over Selena's music the day before her funeral and mocking Selena's fans with a fake Hispanic accent.

Boxer who stopped Princess Anne's kidnapper wishes he hit killer harder
A boxer whose punches stopped Princess Anne's kidnapper said his only regret was not hitting him harder after the 'mollycoddled' killer was set free. Ian Ball, 77, tried to kidnap Queen Elizabeth's only daughter for a £3million Royal ransom in March 1974 when he also shot dead four men on The Mall. But undeterred by Ball's threats, Ronnie 'The Geezer' Russell, now 77,drove past Anne's Royal limousine and stopped. He could see Ball with a gun in each hand so punched him three times before police finally arrested him. Ball has now been released from Broadmoor Hospital despite being unrepentant for his crimes. Ball claims that the kidnap was a hoax, despite admitting to the murder of two policemen and the kidnap plot at the Old Bailey in May 1974. He's even appealing his conviction, publishing a book and flying to Barbados and Japan on holiday. Ronnie gave his reaction to the news of the killer's release, told Daily Mail: 'I can't believe Ball's been released, it's ridiculous. 'I should have hit him a bit harder. Am I worried he might come and find me? Let's go further – give him my address, and I'll go one better this time. 'He's saying now 'None of it ever happened, there was supposed to be no gunpowder in the bullets'? It's absolutely impossible, because it did happen. 'He didn't come out with all that when he was sentenced at the Old Bailey – I was there, watching him plead guilty. He should be recalled to Broadmoor. 'When Ball was put away 'at Her Majesty's pleasure' we were all sure he'd never be out. I can't see any reason why he's been released, why a publishing company agreed to print his autobiography – or how come he's had benefits to save the money to go to Barbados. 'I'm going to Barbados later this year, but that's because I worked for it. I had to sell my medal. He's been mollycoddled, and it's been too easy for him.' Ronnie recalled the moment he saved the princess and said: 'I was lifting Princess Anne out of the car by her forearms, saying 'Now we're going to walk away, and he's going to have to go through me to get to you' I was a big lad. 'But Ball came round the car, and her husband Captain Mark Phillips pulled her back in. When I turned, he was stood there with his gun pointed at me (he'd broken a car window with the other one, and it was on the floor), shouting 'Come on Anne, you've got to come'. More Trending 'That's when I decided it was going to be me, or him. I had to hit him first, and harder. 'I was quite prepared to sacrifice myself for a member of the Royal Family.' Ronnie was invited to Buckingham Palace in 1974 for his efforts helping Princess Anne and received the George Medal. Other people including royal bodyguard James Beaton, shot three times, was awarded the George Cross, journalist Brian McConnell and Anne's chauffeur Alex Callender, both shot in the chest, the Queen's Gallantry medal – while PC Michael Hills, shot in the stomach, got the George Medal. Richard Hammond teases TV reunion with Jeremy Clarkson and James May in career admission
The Top Gear trio haven't made plans to reunite after The Grand Tour came to an end. Former Top Gear star Richard Hammond has shared a cheeky idea for his next TV show with Jeremy Clarkson and James May. The trio first hit screens on the BBC motoring programme from 2003 until 2015, after Clarkson was sacked for an 'unprovoked physical and verbal attack' on a Top Gear producer, which he later apologised for and agreed to pay damages. After Hammond and May followed him out the door and quit the show, saying they came as a 'package', they moved over to The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime Video. However, that ended last year with two specials filmed in Zimbabwe and Mauritania, and there don't appear to be any plans for the trio to reunite. But Hammond has now teased a future project, joking they'll 'take on the world ' in a show focused on football rather than cars. 'I think we'd set up a three-a-side football team and take on the world,' he joked to the Oxford Mail. He also spoke about their relationship together now (which often sees May and Clarkson in rivalry about their pubs), confirming: 'We still talk. 'We always used to be asked that a lot, but we were together so much filming that the only way to spend more time together would have been to marry one another, really. 'We had time to go home, unpack, catch up, remember where you lived, and we were all together again, so we never got into the habit of massively socialising together. 'We do as we'll meet up at parties and events and always shall, obviously, as you don't spend nearly 25 years working with people and not become friends.' Clarkson, Hammond and May have all previously addressed the possibility of another future programme, and have never fully ruled it out. Last year, May said he thinks the time is right for a brand new motoring show, before claiming he, Clarkson and Hammond are 'too old'. 'If you wanted to make a serious, slightly more consumerish car show, there's never been a better time for it because it's a very interesting topic,' he told The Sun. 'What is going to happen to the car, car ownership, attitudes to the car, how we use it, dispose of it, how we power it? 'It's all interesting stuff, it's the most interesting time in the car's history since it was invented. So I can't believe somewhere or other, a slightly more modern car show won't emerge. But we can't do it as we're too old.' However, after being probed about a reunion, he added to Radio 4's Today programme: 'I wouldn't rule it out, but you do have to bear in mind that we're all getting on a bit.' Meanwhile, in an interview with The Times, Clarkson claimed he was too 'unfit and fat and old' for an 'immensely physical' show like The Grand Tour. He went on: 'We've spent more time in each other's company than our families' over the last 25 years, so I don't think it would have lasted as long as it did if we'd hated each other as much as James likes to think.' 'They do as they're told,' he added.
