Revolution leader congratulates Yemeni People & Ummah on 'Wilayah Day,' affirms Yemen's Support for Iran's Response to Zionist Aggression

Saba Yemen14-06-2025
Sana'a - SABA:
The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, addressed the Yemeni people and the entire Ummah with his warmest congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadeer al-Aghar, the Day of Wilayah.
In his speech today marking Wilayah Day, he explained that the Yemeni people celebrate this occasion annually through the religious legacy passed down to them over generations. He noted that celebrating Wilayah Day is a way of rejoicing in God's blessing, testifying to the perfection of religion, and affirming the Prophet's (peace be upon him and his family) message.
He described reviving Wilayah Day as a reaffirmation of a great Islamic principle: extending allegiance and protecting the Ummah from allegiance to Jews and Christians. He emphasized that the Qur'anic warning against 'tawalla' (taking as allies) Jews and Christians includes all forms of cooperation with them against Islam and Muslims.
He added that the warning against turning to Jews and Christians also includes submitting to them and treating them as commanding authority in all aspects of life.
He said:
'Taking Jews and Christians as allies is a very serious matter—it represents a profound breach of religious affiliation that would make a person considered part of their crimes, misguidance, and corruption.'
He expressed regret that many people downplay the issue due to a lack of religious education and awareness about its seriousness.
He noted that a lack of religious education leads many to act in ways that effectively serve or support Jews and Christians. He stressed that 'tawalla' is not a trivial matter, as its negative impact undermines core beliefs and stances.
He added that the Qur'an instills in Muslims a correct outlook toward Jews and Christians, regarding them as enemies—stating that Jews are the most hostile—and it is strange that some in the Ummah would choose to ally with those who oppose them.
Sayyid Abdul-Malik then turned to the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. He emphasized that this aggression fits a Western narrative that views Iran as an independent model supporting the Palestinian cause.
He described the attack as blatant, brutal, shameless, unjust, criminal, and targeting Iranian military leaders, nuclear scientists, ordinary citizens, and a nuclear facility—with disregard for the potential for nuclear contamination.
He remarked that 'if there had been no heavy structures at the nuclear site, the consequences would have been far more serious. The Israeli enemy is audacious in committing such horrendous crimes; it offers no justification—and its pretexts are utterly ridiculous.'
He affirmed:
'In Yemen, we support the Iranian response and stand with it in every possible way.'
He extended condolences to the Iranian leadership and people, and offered blessings to those who attained martyrdom.
He continued:
'We affirm that any Islamic country confronting the Israeli enemy carries the true responsibility and interest of the Ummah in supporting and affirming its stance. Yemen will continue to support Gaza and the Palestinian people in an open war against the Israeli enemy.'
He reiterated Yemen's firm and ongoing position within the framework of jihad in God's cause, stating that the Israeli enemy, in its attack on Iran, disregards the airspace of Arab states.
He said:
'As the Israelis violate Arab countries, they consider them part of their Zionist plan—countries they seek to occupy and control.'
He noted that the Ummah must restore a deterrent balance against Israel and must not accept being taken advantage of.
He explained that Israel and its Western backers aim to see Iran crushed—they reject any independent, rising Islamic country within the Muslim world, and seek to remove any obstacle to their control over the Ummah.
He praised the collective stance of Arab and Islamic countries condemning the Israeli attack on Iran, calling it a positive and correct position that should be mirrored politically and in the media.
He stressed that neighboring states must stick to their condemnatory position and not give in to American or Western pressure—adding that Western alignment with Israel is predictable.
He explained:
'What the Americans, British, French, and Western society aim to do is to contain the Iranian response. If they fail politically, they will cooperate with Israel to counter it.'
He criticized the West for being hypocritical: backing Israel, breaching human rights, and ignoring international law—even as they posture otherwise.
He lauded Iran's strong position—officially and popularly united and fully capable morally and materially.
He noted that Israel's aggression will not weaken Iran but rather strengthen it, providing an opportunity to defeat and chastise the enemy, and reassert Iran's central role and the Ummah's resolve against Israeli arrogance and criminality.
He stressed that the victory of Iran's response serves the Palestinian cause; Palestinians will be the primary beneficiaries. He said Iran's position frustrates enemies, especially amid Arab and Islamic complacency.
He continued:
'Iran's distinguished stance in supporting the Palestinian people—its victory is in the interest of all regional countries, as Israel is a danger to them, especially the Arabs, and all regional countries should endorse Iranian support.'
He reiterated that deterring Israel from further crimes serves everyone in the region, noting that Israel—backed by the US, UK, France, and Germany—is pushing to impose unchecked dominance over the Ummah.
He warned that allowing Israel free rein would embolden it to commit worse atrocities. He affirmed:
'Without deterrence we cannot stop this enemy—there is no justification to accept being taken advantage of. God gives the guarantee of victory and assistance.'
He stated that enemies of Islam neither desire honor nor progress for the Ummah. Instead, they aim to mislead, corrupt, and subjugate it under attractive but deceptive slogans.
He said they seek to shape the Ummah into submissive followers—governments, societies, parties, elites—who accept foreign dictates. Among the most dangerous threats is 'tawalla'—becoming allies to Jews and Christians.
He linked Wilayah Day back to this warning:
'The risk of deviation lies in the Ummah allying with Jews and Christians in position and enabling them to dominate. No matter how confident some are in political schemes, the outcome is regret and loss.'
He explained that Qur'anic verses guide the Ummah to avoid this deviation and that enemies try to mold the Ummah to serve their interests through dictating and intervening in all aspects of life.
He insisted that deviation from God's guidance is tantamount to apostasy. The Qur'an presents Wilayah as a spiritual foundation protecting the Ummah from submission and granting it divine victory.
He described the enemies' main modus operandi: injustice in actions, politics, and stances. He urged the Ummah to see its struggle as a sacred mission.
He called upon the Ummah of truth to mobilize against the evil of Jews, uphold justice and act on the principles of righteousness and divine guidance.
He asserted:
'It is wrong for the Ummah's struggle with Jews to be limited to secular or political rhetoric—our rightful claim to this land must be rooted in our faith and sanctity.'
He accused Zionists of deceitfully positioning themselves as bearers of good while stripping the Ummah of its religious essence. He warned that indulging in secular or abstract rights issues while ignoring faith diminishes the Ummah spiritually.
He regretted that the Ummah might reduce its struggle to simple slogans divorced from faith and justice, harming their spiritual and emotional well-being.
He said:
'Zionists degrade the Ummah's cause psychologically and spiritually, whereas they cling to religious titles misleadingly and inappropriately.'
He continued, stating Zionists seek to deplete the Ummah of faith, vision, and moral backbone—targeting its insight, moral resolve, cultural, intellectual, political, and religious integrity—a 'soft war.'
He emphasized the importance of faith in Wilayah:
'Belief in God's Wilayah guides the Ummah to divine guidance and connects all aspects of life to God's wise teachings—shaping its political, economic, and social paths.'
He noted that the essence of allegiance to false masters and Satan is injustice and oppression. He said those who ally with Jews become oppressors, urging:
'Is there oppressive wrongdoing greater than what Israel does to the Palestinian people in Gaza?'
He added:
'Enemy injustice is not only about killing; it also involves spiritual, intellectual, cultural, and political misguidance—crippling societies by stripping them of values and light.'
He reasserted that Jews and Christians aim to strip the Ummah of its faith-based foundations, leaving it rootless and vulnerable.
He finished by calling out hypocrisy:
'Enemies don't seek mere military control—they intend to reprogram the Ummah's faith and identity to achieve total domination… Awareness of this threat prevents the Ummah from accepting their commands.'
He pointed to inauthentic and hypocritical tendencies within the Ummah that align with enemies. He condemned Zionist plans to eliminate the Palestinian cause—citing their ongoing genocide as evidence.
He emphasized that enemies aim to remove all obstacles in Palestine and beyond, and the Ummah must perceive them through Qur'anic truths and their Gaza actions.
He explained the Zionist project—'Re-shaping the Middle East'—meaning the subjugation of regional peoples in all domains, beyond Palestine, and the Ummah must see this through the reality of Gaza's suffering.
He stressed the need for a clear stance—emotional solidarity alone is insufficient; the Ummah must build its opposition on sound understanding and avoid naive views that peace with Zionist Jews is feasible.
He concluded:
'At this critical and sensitive stage in the struggle with Zionists, there are two paths: submission to them—or confronting their conspiracies and tyranny. Submission leads to the loss of both this world and the next—miserable disgrace and the ruin of human dignity.'
He underlined that accepting Zionist rule grants them total power, leaving the Ummah without security, independence, or dignity.
'Taking the path of confrontation, grounded in awareness, insight, and responsibility, preserves rights and homelands.'

Al-Qassam releases second video of Israeli captive Abitar David inside tunnel

Gaza - Saba: Al-Qassam Brigades released a new video on Saturday evening of Israeli captive Abitar David inside a tunnel in the Gaza Strip. The prisoner appeared in the video, which reached the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), in deteriorating health, showing clear signs of emaciation and malnutrition. He said, "I haven't eaten in days, and our meager food consists of lentils and beans, and our captors are giving us what they can." He added, "Netanyahu has abandoned us, and everything we were raised on in Israel is a lie." He continued, "I am digging my own grave because my body is weakening every day, and perhaps I will be buried here in the tunnel." On Friday, al-Qassam Brigades broadcast a video of him watching archive footage from a previous prisoner exchange deal, when he was in good health. Recent photos of him appeared, showing him significantly reduced in weight, a striking contrast between his previous and current condition. The video also featured parallel scenes of Palestinian children suffering from famine and malnutrition as a result of the tightened Israeli blockade and the denial of aid entry, a message al-Qassam Brigades wanted to convey about the shared suffering of prisoners and the residents of Gaza. The video concluded with the phrase written in white on a black background: "They eat what we eat and drink what we drink." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Israel intercepts Houthi missile fired from Yemen

'Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted,' the Israeli military said. The Houthi militia targeted Israel's Ben Gurion airport 'using a 'Palestine 2' hypersonic ballistic missile,' their military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a video statement. The Yemeni group has launched repeated missile and drone attacks against Israel since their Palestinian ally Hamas's October 2023 attack triggered the Gaza war. The Houthis, who say they are acting in support of the Palestinians, paused their attacks during a two-month ceasefire in Gaza that ended in March, but resumed them after Israel relaunched major operations. Israel has carried out several retaliatory strikes in Yemen, targeting Houthi-held ports and the airport in the rebel-controlled capital, Sanaa.

Israeli Occupation Continues Escalation in the West Bank: Raids, Gunfire, and Systematic Attacks

West Bank – Saba: Israeli occupation forces and settler militias continued their wave of attacks across various areas of the West Bank on Friday evening, including direct raids, road closures, and physical and armed assaults on Palestinian civilians, amid widespread tension and clashes. According to the Palestinian news agency Wafa, heavily armed settlers—under the protection of Israeli forces—stormed the outskirts of the village of Duma, south of Nablus, and opened heavy gunfire, triggering confrontations with local residents amid a highly tense atmosphere. In eastern Tulkarm, occupation forces raided the neighborhoods of Oktaba and the town of Anabta. Troops stationed around the Oktaba roundabout disrupted traffic, stopped vehicles, and interrogated passengers. Gunfire was reported near the Al-Qaisi neighborhood and mosque in what appeared to be acts of intimidation, though no injuries or arrests were recorded. Military vehicles continued to roam the streets and neighborhoods of Anabta, coinciding with Israel's ongoing aggression against the city of Tulkarm and its two refugee camps—Tulkarm and Nur Shams—for the 187th consecutive day. The area remains under a severe siege, with permanent military reinforcements preventing residents from accessing their homes. Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, Israeli forces closed the eastern entrance of Al-Khader town—south of the city—near the tunnel checkpoint leading to Beit Jala, using a metal gate. Soldiers were also deployed throughout the area, severely disrupting the movement of civilians. These actions are part of Israel's ongoing strategy to tighten its grip on Palestinians and escalate provocations in cities and towns across the West Bank, amid ongoing international silence in the face of intensifying violations.
