Louis Tomlinson's odd Glasto camping plans as he stays away from girlfriend Zara

Daily Mirror6 days ago
EXCLUSIVE: Former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson is no stranger to Glastonbury having been spotted every year for the past decade - and his unusual camping arrangements for 2025 are no different
Louis Tomlinson has unveiled his own unique camping arrangement – a tent solely for booze. The former One Direction star, 33, is camping with a group of mates at Glastonbury rather than going more upmarket.
And the Back To You singer, who brought a TV to the festival to watch England play an International match last year, has allocated a tent just for drinks. A source told The Mirror: 'Louis is determined to make it a weekend to remember and has planned everything with military like precision - including making sure enough booze is available. He has his own tent - and one just for the drinks.'

Girlfriend Zara McDermott, 28, meanwhile, is joining Louis at Glasto, but is thought to be staying off site and not camping with Louis. 'Everyone is saying it's a nice break for him and Zara but it's a great way also for Zara to meet his mates. It will definitely be a boozy one and not a particularly romantic one,' the source added.

The pair first struck up romance rumours earlier this year as they were photographed on a cosy date in Suffolk in March, just a few weeks after Zara's split from her long-term boyfriend Sam Thompson.
Louis and Zara then enjoyed a cosy trip together in Los Angeles, with Zara finally unveiling her romance on Instagram as the pair enjoyed a brunch date together. Since then, it appears their romance has continued to blossom as Zara was recently seen supporting Louis in Costa Rica.
Last year, Glastonbury Festival-goers were set to miss out on watching England's big match in the Euros – that was until Louis came prepared. In June last year, the Euros were in full swing as the England's men's football team secured its place in the Euros round of 16, with them kicking off their match at 5pm on the Thursday evening of the festival.
However, the game clashed with performances from some of the iconic festival's top names. Glastonbury made the decision to not show any of the Euros matches, so footie and festival fans needed to try and stream the games on their own devices - a potentially challenging task at Worthy Farm.

But singer Louis headed to Glastonbury fully prepared as he took along his own TV so he could catch all the action. A group was snapped by The Mirror huddled around a TV getting ready for the match.
They had the screen set up next to their camp and got the beers in ready to watch England take on Slovakia. It was confirmed to be Louis Tomlinson and his group of mates after One Direction hairstylist Louise Teasdale also posted a snap.
At the time, Louis was labelled a 'hero' as he ensured that festival-goers wouldn't miss out on the big match. Will Louis have another clever trick up his sleeve this year? We'll have to wait and see.

The pair didn't find love in the ITV2 villa, but enjoyed a night out on the outside - with some familiar faces. Malisha, 24, shared an Instagram story of herself and Remell, 24, from a night out. With music playing in the background, the pair sat together and smiled while dancing along. Fellow dumped Islanders including Blu Chegini, Shea Mannings and Caprice Alexandra joined them for the get together. Malisha was one of a trio of bombshell girls who entered the villa, alongside Emily Moran and Yasmin Pettet. During her time on the show, Malisha clashed with fellow villa girl Meg Moore. Namely, over co-star Dejon Noel-Williams - who is coupled up with Meg. After a recoupling, Malisha and Toni Laites were left vulnerable and at risk of being dumped. Both went on a date with new arrival Harrison Solomon - with only one returning to the villa with him. Harrison opted for US star Toni, meaning that Malisha was therefore dumped. Love Island star dumped by bombshell Harrison in cruel twist She said following her exit: "I don't regret anything, I did what I needed to do as a bombshell. "Sometimes the reactions were a bit uncalled for. "I did go into the first chat with an open mind and I said I don't want to have any arguments. "Then it just got heated. I'm not here for the drama… a lot of it was miscommunication. "Dejon was telling her one thing and telling me another. It was a mix up that wasn't necessary. They act like they're not closed, but they are closed off." As for Remell, he and Shea, 25, arrived together as bombshells on Day 3. He coupled up with Alima Gagigo - only to later be axed in a brutal double dumping. Taking to Instagram afterwards, Remell wrote: "And just like that… I'm officially out of the love island villa. What a mad, unforgettable ride. "First off, thank you to every single one of you who's supported me—whether you were backing me to find love, keeping up with the show, or just curious from what you've seen online—I'm genuinely grateful." "My journey might've been shorter than expected, but I walked in as me and walked out as me. No regrets," he continued. "I got to meet some incredible people, make real bonds and live out something most only dream about. "Seeing my name in headlines has been surreal to say the least—but trust, this is just the beginning." "I'm walking out with my head high and my heart full. Can't wait to show you lot what's next 🤞" he concluded, before signing off: "Big love always". Love Island airs on ITV2 and ITVX.

Love Island hunk sparks concern as fans convinced he's suffered painful injury – did you see it?

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) LOVE Island fans are convinced Conor may have suffered a painful injury before the show after spotting a clue on the show. The rugby player, 25, recently sparked concern after he showed off his pearly white gnashers while in the villa. One viewer wrote: "Not to be rude in the dental situation?" along with a picture of Conor and his missing tooth. But many fans took to reddit to explain that the missing tooth was likely a result of him playing rugby. This person shared: "Dental implants are very expensive and the process is long. He might not mind missing a side tooth which is fine! Genetic condition or a rugby injury perhaps? It's really not a big deal or anyone's place to judge." A second said: "He's played full contact rugby for years, I assume that was the cause. From following other players, they won't get a permanent fix until they retire from rugby because the chance is high it will just get damaged again." "Conor's teeth actually give his face character, they suit him. They are clean and look nice. Also he's a rugby player they tend to lose teeth it's high contact," a third commented. Another added: "He's a rugby player. There is literally no point getting your teeth done before you retire. My husband was missing his front tooth from rugby when I met him…I sorted that straight out ha!" While several other people defended the star's natural teeth. This viewer said: "It costs a fortune to get dental implants for regular people. He's attractive in any case. Better than the Turkey teeth." "I'd rather have real teeth like this than those piano keys the rest of them have got in their mouths," someone else fumed. Love Island star sparks fears she'll quit the show after tense bust-up saying 'she's going to walk' This person posted: "Teeth are unique to people? You're being rude. We don't all have turkey teeth! He probably lost it with rugby or whatever but yeah.. his teeth are unique to him." Conor's time in the villa hasn't been completely plain sailing after love interest Megan was dumped from the villa during a shock public vote. Since then, actress Megan has revealed that Conor slid into her DMs in the past. She told heatworld in an interview: "It's so funny, right? So on day one, Conor told me that he followed me on Instagram four years ago, and I never followed him back. "But then since coming out, I've seen that he follows me on TikTok and he's actually commented on one of my TikToks. "Again, I've not followed him back or even realised he had commented on one." She laughed: "So, yeah, it's nice that he's still trying four years later. "It's worked out for him now, I suppose." Eagle-eyed fans went wild over the theory that Megan and Conor knew each other before entering the villa - after photos seemingly showed them at the same nightclub. Old snaps show Megan with a pal in a night club, while another picture supposedly clocks Conor in the same club long before they entered the ITV2 dating show. The speculation comes after Megan was voted the least favourite girl by the public after an ugly split from Tommy. The Irish star was booted out the villa after finding herself in the bottom three girls, along with Shakira, Megan and Toni. The brunette bombshell's departure followed days of drama after she cracked on with Conor while in a couple with Tommy.

Controversial Glastonbury set deemed 'high risk' by BBC – but gig still aired

The BBC had originally deemed a number of performances at Glastonbury to be 'high risk' – yet still went ahead and broadcast it on screens and on iPlayer to millions Bob Vylan's performance at Glastonbury Festival had been deemed "high risk" by top dogs at the BBC. However, the publicly funded corporation still went ahead and broadcast the set to millions across the country and online. Now, the BBC have said in a new statement that the duo had previously been deemed to be "suitable for livestreaming" but with "appropriate mitigations", although this was "clearly not the case." Since last Sunday, the BBC has come under scrutiny following the performance, which saw their frontman, Pascal Robinson-Foster, but goes by the name Bobby Vylan, chant: "Death to the IDF" and "Free Palestine." The group performed on the West Holts Stage at Worthy Farm, with their set being live-streamed as they performed ahead of Kneecap's set. The BBC have since said they regret not stepping in to halt its broadcast sooner but told "a small number of staff" to step back from their daily duties on music and live events. Meanwhile, Director General Tim Davie, who attended the festival, issued an apology. In a statement, the corporation said: "We fully understand the strength of feeling regarding Bob Vylan's live appearance at Glastonbury on the BBC. "We deeply regret that such offensive and deplorable behaviour appeared on the BBC and want to apologise to our viewers and listeners and in particular the Jewish community. We are also unequivocal that there can be no place for antisemitism at, or on, the BBC. "It is clear that errors were made both in the lead-up to and during Bob Vylan's appearance. We think it's important to set out some of the detail around the streaming of this performance. Bob Vylan were deemed high risk following a risk assessment process applied to all acts appearing at Glastonbury. "Seven acts including Bob Vylan were included in this category and they were all deemed suitable for live streaming with appropriate mitigations." They added: "Prior to Glastonbury, a decision was taken that compliance risks could be mitigated in real time on the live stream - through the use of language or content warnings - without the need for a delay. This was clearly not the case. "During the performance, the live stream was monitored in line with the agreed compliance protocols and a number of issues were escalated. Warnings appeared on the stream on two occasions and the editorial team took the decision not to cut the feed. This was an error. "The Director-General was subsequently made aware of what had happened and instructed the team that none of the performance should feature in further coverage. The team prioritised stopping the performance from featuring on demand. This meant that no downloads of Bob Vylan's set were available on iPlayer or Sounds. "However, the live feed, which was showing subsequent performances from other acts on the same Glastonbury stage, remained up until it was amended shortly after 8pm while teams worked on a technical solution. Given the failings that have been acknowledged we are taking actions to ensure proper accountability for those found to be responsible for those failings in the live broadcast. We will not comment further on those processes at this time. "Furthermore, as a result, we will make immediate changes to live streaming music events. Any music performances deemed high risk will now not be broadcast live or streamed live. Editorial Policy support will always be available on site at major music festivals and events, to improve compliance processes and the speed of available advice - and we will provide more detailed, practical guidance on the threshold for withdrawing a live stream. Avon and Somerset Police have also confirmed they are investigating both Bob Vylan for their "death to the IDF" chant and comment on working for "f***ing Zionists." In a statement, the force said earlier this week: "Video footage and audio from Bob Vylan and Kneecap's performances at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday has been reviewed. "Following the completion of that assessment process we have decided further enquiries are required and a criminal investigation is now being undertaken. A senior detective has been appointed to lead this investigation. "This has been recorded as a public order incident at this time while our enquiries are at an early stage. The investigation will be evidence-led and will closely consider all appropriate legislation, including relating to hate crimes." They added: "We have received a large amount of contact in relation to these events from people across the world and recognise the strength of public feeling. There is absolutely no place in society for hate. "Neighbourhood policing teams are speaking with people in their local communities and key stakeholders to make sure anyone who needs us knows that we are here for them. We hope the work we have carried out, and are continuing to carry out, reassures the public how seriously we are treating Saturday's events. We politely ask the public refrain from continuing to report this matter to us because an investigation is already taking place." The duo have since been dropped by both their agent and management, while their US visas have been revoked ahead of their upcoming tour across the States, and performances in the UK, including at Radar Festival, have also been pulled. Moments after their performance, Glastonbury bosses issued a statement, saying that they had been "appalled" by the comments and that the lead singer of Bob Vylan had "crossed a line." Since the controversy, the band have taken to social media, saying: "We are not for the death of Jews, Arabs or any other race or group of people. We are for the dismantling of a violent military machine. We like those in the spotlight before us are not the story. We are a distraction from the story. We are being targeted for speaking up. Free Palestine."
