New Delhi: The Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has emphasized on continuing the Indus water agreements of India and Pakistan. Indus Waters Treaty
In the meeting of the organization of 57 Islamic countries held in Istanbul, Turkey on Sunday, June 22, both sides have been called upon to strictly follow the bilateral agreements between Pakistan and India, including the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT). This request of OIC fully supports Pakistan's stand on this issue.
The statement issued by the CFM said that our deep concern is on the military escalation in South Asia in recent days. This concern includes India's attacks at many places in Pakistan. We emphasize the need for both sides to exercise maximum restraint and avoid such actions, which can destabilize the region. Referring to the Indus Agreement, the statement said that it should not be broken and both sides should follow it. OIC on Kashmir issue
In the two-day meeting of Islamic countries held in Istanbul, CFM has echoed Pakistan's voice on the Kashmir issue apart from the Indus agreement. CFM said that we express full support for the self-determination rights of the Kashmiri people in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, OIC and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has also gone to Turkey to attend the OIC meeting. The special thing in this was that Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir also went to Turkey with Dar. Munir met the host country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Turkey/Turkiye. The impact of these meetings is also visible on the statement after the meeting. Indus Waters Treaty dispute
India and Pakistan signed the Indus Water Treaty in 1960. In this agreement, rules have been set for sharing the water of rivers between India and Pakistan. After the 22 April Pahalgam attack, India withdrew from this treaty and said that it would stop Pakistan's water supply. Pakistan has expressed strong displeasure over this and has threatened India with war if it withdraws from the agreement. There has been tension between the two countries on this issue for the last three months. Now the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has given a statement on this.

Advisor to anti-India Yunus caught with AK-47 rifle magazine at Dhaka airport on way to Istanbul, security let him go due to..., handbag was...

New Delhi: An AK-47 rifle magazine has been found in the bag of Asif Mahmud, the young face of the interim government of Mohammad Yunus of Bangladesh. The magazine was found inside Dhaka airport in the luggage of Asif, the advisor (minister) of the Rural Development and Cooperative Department in the Yunus government. What happened at Dhaka airport? This shocking incident happened when he was going to Morocco to attend the meeting of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) as a representative of Bangladesh. When Asif went to the airport to take a flight, the magazine was found in his bag during the check. Asif is among those young leaders who played an important role in overthrowing the government of Sheikh Hasina by leading the students last year. According to the report of Northeast News, Asif Mahmud was going through the Identity and Security Check (INS) at the airport. During this, the scanning machine indicated suspicious items in his handbag. On this, the security personnel took Asif Mahmud's bag and checked it and found an AK-47 rifle magazine inside it. The airport management and security agencies are silent on this matter and the Yunus government is also trying to cover it up. Why was Asif not questioned? Despite finding the magazine, Bangladeshi security officials allowed Asif Mahmud to take a flight to Turkey. Asif Mahmud first went to Istanbul for the OIC meeting and from there to Marrakech, Morocco. The report claims that Asif Mahmud's handbag was not passed through the mandatory check and security process at the time of entry into the airport. In such a situation, the magazine was found in his bag just before taking the flight. Bangladeshi security agency sources have said that Asif Mahmud could not give a satisfactory answer to the officers regarding the question related to finding an AK-47 magazine in his bag. Asif made a weak excuse that he forgot to remove the magazine from the bag while packing. In such a situation, he expresses regret over it. The security officials accepted this and let him go. He was not questioned in detail about the magazine being found. Yunus government maintains silence Bangladesh interim government head Mohammad Yunus and Home Ministry advisor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury have maintained silence on this issue. There has been no statement from the government on such a big incident as the discovery of an AK-47 magazine inside Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport with an important government figure. There are many discussions in the political corridors of Dhaka about why a government advisor has kept weapons like AK-47 with him.

Sinha promises jobs to eligible kin of all Kashmiri civilians killed by terrorists within 30 days

SRINAGAR: An eligible unemployed member of each "unacknowledged" Kashmiri household that lost someone to terrorist bullets over the past three decades will get a govt job within 30 days, J&K lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha promised Sunday during an outreach in south Kashmir's Anantnag involving over 80 such families. Sinha's directive to deputy commissioners to process pending job applications on priority and register FIRs in 'buried' cases of Kashmiri civilians being targeted is part of a broader initiative to reshape the narrative around J&K's 40,000-odd casualties in violence since Pakistan-backed terrorism turned the Valley into a killing field. "It's shocking that prior to 2019, terrorists' funeral processions were allowed while thousands of common Kashmiris killed by terrorists remained unacknowledged," Sinha said at the event, organised by Save Youth, Save Future Foundation. 'For years, truth was kept hidden under pressure from the terror ecosystem.' He said cases against the perpetrators of such killings would be pursued to their logical end, "whether they are in Kashmir or hiding in Pakistan". Sinha also announced that the Union govt would reclaim properties belonging to victims' families that had been encroached upon by "terrorist sympathisers or separatist elements". "It's a historic step to finally recognise and honour the thousands of innocent civilians in Kashmir who were brutally killed by Pakistani terrorists. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like They Were So Beautiful Before; Now Look At Them; Number 10 Will Shock You Reportingly Undo For decades, these families were marginalised. Justice was denied. Their pain was ignored, their stories untold, and the truth deliberately suppressed. Hundreds of families have gained strength and support to say their loved ones were killed by Pakistani terrorists," he said. Families from Anantnag, Kulgam and Shopian districts, where dozens of terrorist attacks on security forces and civilians have been reported over the years, attended the event. Besides offering jobs to eligible applicants, the lieutenant governor assured financial assistance and expert handholding to those wanting to start businesses. A Raj Bhavan statement said many families spoke to the lieutenant governor about 'decades of false propaganda and Pakistan's role in fuelling terrorism in the Kashmir Valley'.

Top Iran Cleric Declares Trump And Netanyahu 'Enemies Of God' In New Fatwa

Last Updated: Grand Ayatollah Makarem stated that support or cooperation with such figures is forbidden for Muslims One of Iran's top Shiite clerics, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi, has issued a fatwa against US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling them 'enemies of God" and urging Muslims worldwide to take action. The fatwa declares that anyone who threatens or attacks the leadership and authority of the Islamic Ummah (community) is considered a 'warlord" or 'criminal of mohareb," a term used in Iran's penal code for one who wages war against God. 'Any person or regime that threatens or attacks the leadership and authority in order to harm the Islamic Ummah and its sovereignty is considered a warlord," Ayatollah Makarem declared in his fatwa. Ayatollah Makarem stated that support or cooperation with such figures is forbidden for Muslims. He stressed the need for global Muslims to make Trump and Netanyahu 'regret their words and mistakes" and said they would be rewarded as ' mujahid fi sabilillah" — warriors in the path of God — if they suffered hardships, Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) reported. 'May God protect the Islamic community from the evil of the enemies and hasten the reappearance of the Master of the Age and Time," the fatwa stated. According to Iran's Islamic Penal Code, a person proven to be a mohareb may face severe punishments: execution, crucifixion, amputation of the right hand and left foot, or exile.
