Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom reunite on Jeff Bezos' honeymoon after recent split
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom may have recently announced the end of their romantic relationship, but their latest public appearance tells a different story.
The former couple, who said they are now focusing on co-parenting their daughter Daisy Dove, have joined newlyweds Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez on what appears to be part of the couple's honeymoon.
The Teenage Dream singer, 40, and the 48-year-old actor were seen on board Bezos's luxury superyacht in the Mediterranean, accompanied by their four-year-old daughter.
Despite confirming they had decided to 'shift' their relationship to focus purely on parenting, Katy and Orlando appeared relaxed and happy to be spending time together as a family, in pictures obtained by Mail Online.
Their appearance on the yacht has drawn even more attention, not only because of the high-profile nature of the Bezos'' honeymoon, but also due to the timing of their getaway following their split. Many expected the couple to be spending time apart following their separation, yet they seem to have chosen the opposite by joining a romantic trip.
Katy, who missed Bezos and Sanchez's extravagant £48 million wedding in Venice while touring in Australia, may have been making up for lost time. Dressed in a black bikini, the Dark Horse singer looked at ease as she enjoyed the Italian coast and watched Orlando play affectionately with their daughter.
Orlando, for his part, seemed equally content as he was seen throwing Daisy into the air before catching her and kissing her on the cheek.
The actor had previously attended the wedding solo, where he was spotted socialising with a high-profile guest list including Tom Brady, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sydney Sweeney. He was also seen chatting with a mystery woman during the celebrations which raised many an eyebrow.
Still, despite appearances at separate events and suggestions of moving on, their yacht trip suggests that Katy and Orlando continue to operate as a close-knit unit.
Last week, the pair officially called it quits on their nine-year romance - six years after the Pirates of The Caribbean actor popped the question.
In a statement, their respective representatives declared: "Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting. They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."
Before the official announcement, an insider had informed the magazine of their amicable split, stating: "Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It's not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life."
Hints of trouble had appeared on Orlando's Instagram stories on July 2, where he shared a poignant message from Carl Gustav Jung: "Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself."
This came shortly after a June 30 post quoting Buddha: "Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most." The signs of a separation were evident in Orlando's posts before the official statement, and he turned up alone at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's nuptials.
Tour duties kept Katy Perry from attending the glitzy event. Days before, the 40-year-old delivered an emotionally charged performance in Adelaide, Australia, on June 30. Katy Perry broke down as she wrapped up her set, fighting back tears and creating a heart sign with her hands to express her affection for the crowd.
Grateful for their unwavering support, Katy told the audience: "Thank you for always being there for me, Australia. It means the world." After regaining her composure, Katy burst into her renowned hit 'Firework'.
Katy and Orlando's love story began in 2016, endured a brief hiatus after a year, before rekindling flames in 2018. The power couple got engaged in 2019 and embraced parenthood with the arrival of Daisy Dove in 2020.

Britain's Got Talent judge quits panel as huge star 'in talks' to take over iconic gig
A Britain's Got Talent judge has reportedly sensationally quit the iconic ITV talent show. Bruno Tonioli has reportedly decided to step away from the show after just two series on the judging panel. It has been reported that newcomer KSI is the star who is in talks to become Bruno's permanent replacement. Rumours had circulated that the Italian TV personality may find it impossible to film the next series of the show with his commitment to filming Dancing with the Stars in America - with both reportedly taking place this autumn. However, Bruno has now officially quit the ITV show, according to insiders. Bruno, 69, joined the judging panel in 2023 following David Walliams ' departure. He quickly became a fan favourite as he joined Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon on the iconic panel. Despite Simon's efforts to keep him on the show, Bruno's ongoing commitments to Dancing With The Stars has reportedly now made it impossible for him to continue on the show. A show insider confirmed the news to The Sun, as they stated: 'Bruno has officially quit Britain's Got Talent and they are hoping that KSI will replace him. "He absolutely loved being on the panel with Simon, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden but Bruno just can't juggle his schedule with filming. There is no bad blood and Bruno is leaving with a smile on his face.' Earlier this week, rumours had circulated about Bruno quitting the show as a source said: "The filming schedule in 2024 meant that Bruno could get away with not being present for filming one week of auditions. "But it would be virtually impossible for him to miss two weeks, because in the final edit, that equates to half the episodes in the new three-month run of BGT, which will air from February of 2026." They added that there is "absolutely no ill feeling about the situation" and that it is purely down to difficult schedules. The Mirror understands that conversations around this year's BGT line-up are still underway. Rapper and internet personality KSI is currently tipped to replace Bruno if he leaves, with the rapper having filled in for the ex Strictly star on a number of occasions in the last series. He proved to be a massive hit with viewers when he joined the panel for BGT's Blackpool auditions and went on to appear at the live semi-finals. Meanwhile, comedian Alan Carr is also reportedly in the running, having previously revealed that he was originally in talks to take over from David Walliams. Back in 2023, the long-standing friend of Amanda Holden revealed that the show had told him that he would be joining BGT before later confirming that Bruno had landed the role. "I don't really know what went on. It was that awful thing of people saying I was devastated. I was on the set of my sitcom, which I wrote and I'm producing, so I was not devastated about not being on BGT," he said. He added that he later saw Simon Cowell at a party held by Amanda Holden and joked about missing out on the judging role, to which Simon replied: "That's showbizness." The Mirror has approached a Britain's Got Talent spokesperson for comment on this story.
