'Some of the range we are launching in the USA includes whiskies that Stewart worked on when he first joined the distillery.
'It is a privilege to see them on the shelves and in the glasses of the most discerning American whisky fans.'
Lennie added: 'The five expressions we're launching show the ways our whisky develops throughout the maturation journey, delivering an incredible depth of flavour. We're looking forward to sharing it with you.'

Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson put on a cosy display on the red carpet at The Naked Gun premiere in Berlin after sparking romance rumours

Pamela Anderson Liam Neeson put on a cosy display at the premiere of their new film The Naked Gun in Berlin, Germany on Thursday. The actress, 58, and actor, 73, couldn't keep their hands off each other as they posed for pictures on the red carpet. Fans have been unsure about the status of the co-stars' relationship after Liam admitted he 'loved' Pamela earlier this year - ahead of the film's release on 1 August. Pamela looked incredibly elegant in an emerald green gown and chic scarf while Liam cut a dapper figure in a grey suit. Their appearance comes after MailOnline's body language expert revealed the pair's true feelings about each other. Judi James shed light on the situation as she gave her verdict on whether their relationship is genuine or a showmance. It comes after Liam joked that his favourite part of making the film was filming 'the sex scenes' with his co-star Pamela. He joked about their intimate scenes as The Sun reported the pair were given an intimacy co-ordinator on set. The star explained: 'I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'OK! Excuse me!'. Pamela portrays a nightclub singer, who comes to Police Squad for help following the murder of her brother, in Akiva Schaffer's slapstick comedy continuation. Pamela added that the intimacy co-ordinator knew when to walk away and joked that she stormed off, with Liam claiming she threw her hands up in the air and said, 'I can't take this! This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee'. However, despite their undeniable chemistry, both on-screen and off, there is no true romance between the co-stars. An insider told the Daily Mail, 'Liam has long felt that he isn't going to date anymore and this connection with Pam is nothing more than an incredible friendship that they will share forever. 'Liam is in love with Pam, but only as friends. Some might confuse their bond for something more.' Last week, Pamela also set the record straight on romance rumours between the pair as the Baywatch queen posed for Entertainment Weekly for their digital cover. And unfortunately there is no romance yet. 'I think I have a friend forever in Liam,' she said. 'And we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he's a good guy.' Liam stars in the film as as Los Angeles Police Squad detective Frank Drebin Jr., son of Nielson's Frank Drebin. It comes after in October Liam said he was 'madly in love' with the Playboy cover girl. 'She's just terrific to work with,' he told People. 'I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.' 'Our chemistry was clear from the start. We have the utmost respect for one another,' Pamela told EW last month. 'I invited him and his assistant over for romantic dinners with me and my assistant so our relationship stayed "professionally romantic" during filming.' The Canadian-American beauty and Liam bonded over their shared 'love of literature and a good laugh' and she regularly left cookies, muffins, and homebaked sourdough bread in his dressing room. 'I am in awe of him, his experience, and work ethic. I soaked him in like a sponge,' Pamela gushed. 'I'm hoping people love it. We had so much fun making it. I think it's timely for a beloved comedy like this. I'm a fan of the originals. As Liam says, "We could all use a good giggle." I pray we do more.' And the feeling was definitely mutual for Liam who gushed to People last October: 'I'm madly in love with her. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.' Liam is technically five years older than original Naked Gun star Leslie Nielsen was when he shot the third film. Pamela previously worked with the late funnyman - who died, age 84, in 2010 - in Scary Movie 3 (2003) and Superhero Movie (2008), but they did not share any scenes together. This September, the Sonsie Skin co-founder will fly to England to shoot a mystery role in Sally Potter's upcoming funeral drama Alma alongside Dakota Fanning and Lindsay Duncan. In April, Pamela was in Australia filming her role as two-time divorcée Molly in Kornél Mundruczó's upcoming drama Place to Be alongside Ellen Burstyn and Taika Waititi. Last September, Anderson was hard at work on the Spanish set of Karim Aïnouz's dark satire Rosebush Pruning for Mubi alongside Elle Fanning, Callum Turner, Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, and Lukas Gage. The 15-time Playboy cover girl experienced a full-blown career resurgence last year after starring in Gia Coppola's drama The Last Showgirl, which earned her Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations.

Liverpool spending backed by title win and long-term plan, says CEO

July 24 (Reuters) - Liverpool's big-money investment on transfers is the result of long-term planning, club CEO Billy Hogan said, adding that winning a record-equalling 20th English top-flight title convinced the club it was time to act like a modern powerhouse. Liverpool's latest acquisition, French striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt in a deal worth 79 million pounds ($106.84 million), including add-ons, has taken the club's transfer expenditure this window to nearly 300 million pounds. Outgoings, six players including Trent Alexander-Arnold, have so far generated around 64 million pounds. The outlay marks a sharp departure from Liverpool's traditionally measured approach in the market. However, Hogan insists the club has not deviated from the club's policy of financial sustainability. "It doesn't just happen; it's been years in the making," Hogan told The Athletic, opens new tab in an interview. "One of the things we're constantly focused on is that 'virtuous circle'. Trying to run the club in the right way to ensure that we can generate as much revenue as we possibly can. That obviously helps in terms of being able to put more back into the team. "The difficulty is if you just look at one individual summer. That probably skews the data. There were a lot of comments made last summer that we didn't spend enough..." Hogan explained the approach reflects the ambitions of American-led Fenway Sports Group (FSG), who are seeking to build on last season's Premier League title under manager Arne Slot. "We also recognise, having won the English league title for the 20th time, that this is one of the biggest clubs in the world. We want to make sure that we are behaving like one," he added. "Having massive global stars come and play at Anfield, filling out stadiums in Hong Kong and Japan, those are things we expect and want to do." Liverpool face AC Milan in Kowloon, Hong Kong on Saturday, before taking on Yokohama FM in the J League World Challenge in Yokohama on Wednesday. They begin their Premier League title defence at home against Bournemouth on August 15. ($1 = 0.7394 pounds)

You can find 400 whiskeys from around the world at this new bar in Williamsburg

Do you prefer your whiskey on the rocks? Or is a shaken Whiskey Sour more of your speed? Well, Williamsburg's latest bar is here to please, however you like to ' handle your brown." As of July 12, Foolproof opened its doors on 476 Driggs Avenue. Andy Lock, previously of The Lobster Club and the now-closed Gotham Bar & Grill, is the maestro behind the bar and its bold selection of spirits, with whiskeys tipping over 400 bottles deep. As intimidating as the number may be, Lock's whiskey haven is here to welcome all who wish to sip and swill. 'Foolproof is the kind of bar I've wanted to open for years,' said Lock in a press release. 'We take the whiskey seriously—but never ourselves. This is a place to drink well with an extensive list of options, eat well, and actually have fun doing it." Whiskey lovers will surely be drawn to the glow of the handsome wooden bar, with its hundreds of glittering bottles that climb up to the ceiling. And yet, Foolproof's handmade wooden tables and chairs, plus a few plush booths, are sure to be the spot for casual conversation while perusing through the book of spirits. American whiskies dominate with six pages dedicated to the fermented grain. However, the list hawks plenty of Irish and Japanese varieties, as well as selections from lesser-known areas, including Austria, India and South Korea, ready to sample by the glass, flight or boilermaker. If you'd rather have a cocktail, they've got "Foolproof Classics,'"including barrel-aged Manhattans and Old Fashioneds, plus Highballs and Boulevardiers. There's a reserve cocktail list that includes an Old Fashioned stirred with black truffle-infused Prunier VSOP Grande Champagne cognac and an Extra Añejo Espresso Martini. Yet Foolproof includes all drinkers, as the bar comes full stocked with beer, wine and a handful of no-proof tipples. Lock's other philosophy also rings true here: good whiskey deserves good food. Better bar bites include a Relish Tray with an assortment of house-made pickles and tapenade and sashimi-grade tartare, including one that uses a whiskey-cured salmon. There are heartier sandwiches that use house-cured portobello and pastrami plus a veggie-friendly "burrata". And when you are ready for a nightcap, you can actually turn to the dessert menu for salted caramel whiskey ice cream.
