Here Are 45 Male Celebrities Who Bleached Their Hair And Surprisingly Pulled It Off

Yahoo2 days ago
Recently, Superman star Nicholas Hoult has had the internet talking (and thirsting) after he successfully went blonde. NGL, this dropkicked me down a rabbit hole, wondering what other celebrities looked like with bleached hair. So, when redditor r/Classic-Carpet7609 suggested that every dark-haired famous man should try peroxide on this thread, I had to share the findings.
Keep in mind, while Orlando Bloom as Legolas was everyone's brunette-to-blonde awakening, I'm only including natural hairdos going double platinum and not store-bought bussdowns.
"As someone who's attracted to dark-haired men, Legolas had me in a fucking CHOKEHOLD."

Child-Free Woman Refuses to Babysit Brother's Kids for Free After He Claims She Has 'No Real Responsibilities'

A woman on Reddit has decided she's not going to babysit her brother's children after he made another pointed comment about her single, child-free lifestyle at a family BBQ Though she's babysat for him for free numerous times, he told her she "should watch the kids sometime so you understand what actual responsibility feels like" Her parents have elected to stay out of the conflict, though her sister-in-law has texted her saying she's "punishing the kids for their dad's words"A woman on Reddit is refusing to babysit for her brother after he made pointed comments about her child-free lifestyle. In a post on Reddit's r/AmIOverreacting forum, the 28-year-old woman shares that she is "single, child-free, and works a fully remote job as a graphic designer." Meanwhile, her 33-year-old brother "has three kids under 7 and constantly talks down to me like I'm a teenager with no clue what real life is like." "Last weekend, at a family BBQ, he joked (again) about how 'must be nice to sleep in and waste your money on coffee and takeout,'" she writes. "I laughed it off until he added, 'You should watch the kids sometime so you understand what actual responsibility feels like.' " Though she's let his previous jabs slide, his comment rubbed her the wrong way, mainly because she's always offered to help with his kids. "He's asked me to babysit multiple times, for free and I've always helped when I could. But after that comment, I said 'If you think my time is worthless, maybe stop asking me to give it away,' " she recalls. "He got offended, said I was being sensitive, and now my SIL is texting me saying I 'punished the kids for their dad's words.' Though their parents have decided to stay out of it, she's wondering if she's wrong for not bending until he apologizes for his comments, looking for him to show her "a little respect." Most commenters agreed that she is "not overreacting," suggesting that her brother is "putting [her] down because he's jealous/unhappy." "Look, your job/home life is almost certainly easier than if you were also raising 3 kids under 7 (or one kid of any age tbh) but that doesn't mean that you're not a fully functioning independent adult who knows what 'real responsibility' is," one commenter weighed in. "You still have to pay bills, do housework, shop for your own food, prepare your own meals, do your job, meet deadlines, etc etc. Kids are just one—optional!—part of adult life. They're not the final boss level of Becoming an Adult." Read the original article on People

New Mom Shares All the 'Not So Fond' Moments of Her Mother-in-Law's Visit Only Halfway Through the Trip

A woman is sharing moments of her mother-in-law's visit in real time, offering a "collection" of all the annoying things the woman has said and done in a Reddit post As she details in the post, the mother-in-law has done a number of things she dislikes, including asking, "why have I struggled to lose all the extra weight in the three months since my baby was born" The woman ends her post asking fellow Reddit users to "give her strength"A woman is igniting conversation online after sharing a "collection" of all the "not so fond" moments of her mother-in-law's visit. In a post shared to Reddit, the woman writes that her mother-in-law is mid-visit, and she's sharing the annoying moments in an effort to "help me try to see the funny side/ remember why I dislike her," as well as commiserate with "others suffering" in similar situations. As she details in the post, the mother-in-law has done a number of things she dislikes, including, "asking me in the snottiesy way possible why I'm picking my baby up if she isn't crying" or "why have I struggled to lose all the extra weight in the three months since my baby was born." The mother-in-law has also asked, "why have I not bothered to color my hair [and] have I decided to grow old naturally now I'm a mother, if I have, it's a bad idea because my husband has always liked women who look after themselves." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. She's also criticized the woman's parenting skills, telling her she's "selfish for exclusively breastfeeding [the baby] because no one else can spend more than an hour alone with her." The mother-in-law has also attempted to use her own techniques with the baby, such as putting her to sleep with a blanket "wrapped around her head," the woman writes, or bathing her using "generic hand soap" instead of her prescribed baby bath soap. Elsewhere in the post, the woman writes that the mother-in-law also "tried to use a cotton bud dipped in white wine to clean" the baby's ears and "tried to take her out of her car seat whilst we were driving down a motorway because she was bored and wanted to cuddle." "My baby is never alone with her," she adds. "My husband has told her directly when she is out of order. I'm staying silent because she lives abroad and after this trip I will not have to see her again for years. I'm [halfway] through the visit. Give me strength." Others are weighing in on the post, offering their sympathy and well wishes for an experience that appears all too common. Writes one commenter: "Have no advice just here in solidarity because my MIL is also outdated with infant care and just so wild at every turn. Can't take a moment to breathe. Good luck!" Adds another: "One visit, my father-in-law tried to convince us we didn't need the car seat because it was just around the corner and then later went on to tell us horrifying stories of babies flying through windshields and the moms going to prison." Teen Doesn't Want to Go on Fancy Cruise with His Mom's New Boyfriend and the Man's Entire Family: ‘Torture Trip'

A 14-year-old boy explained why he does not want to join his mom, her boyfriend and the man's family on a 16-day cruise Venting about the situation on Reddit, he said the cruise will have 'fancy dinners' 'My mom told me I have to come along with them every time and have to wear a tuxedo,' he saidA teenage boy is not on the same boat as his mom when it comes to whether he should go on a cruise with her, her boyfriend and the man's family. The 14-year-old boy explained on Reddit's 'Am I the A------' forum that while he's 'glad my mom's happy' with her new boyfriend, he doesn't want to be 'stuck' on a ship with him and his relatives on the 16-day cruise. 'I need some help here,' he began. 'My mom divorced my dad a while ago and she's been dating this new guy for a few months now. He's alright, I don't have a problem with him.' 'His family must be quite wealthy, his parents have a huge house, his dad drives a Porsche and so on,' he continued. 'They invited us to come on this cruise this summer, and they're paying for the whole thing for us.' Although he admitted that the trip 'sounds cool,' he feels 'weird' about hanging out with all of those people, none of whom are his age. 'I found out that there will be these fancy dinners and events every three days, and my mom told me I have to come along with them every time and have to wear a tuxedo because 'we're part of the family now' and all the other men will wear one,' the teen wrote of his mom's expectations. 'That's when I said, 'Wait, what?' I hate formal clothes. I've always hated shirts and suits and this crap, and my mom knows this,' he added. 'I told her. 'That's enough, not gonna do that,' and she just got mad and said I'm being ungrateful and difficult and I would embarrass us in front of them.' The boy elaborated on why he isn't in the mood to 'play along.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. 'The idea of being stuck in a suit or tuxedo or whatever the difference is for 5 to 6 hours every few days to sit through dinner and then opera singers or some crap like this afterward sounds like absolute torture to me,' he said. 'It's my vacation. I don't want to feel miserable and uncomfortable.' The son then confessed that he just wants to 'hide' because right now is his 'last chance to avoid this torture trip.' Seeking validation about his complaints, the teen asked Redditors, 'Am I the a------ for not wanting to go on this trip?' Many people, envious or not, encouraged him to go on this trip. '[Not the a------] for not wanting to go, but I think you should suck it up and go,' one person replied. 'Cruise ships are huge, so there will be plenty of chances for you to have alone time and go off and do your own thing.' The Redditor added, 'Put on your tux, smile, eat fast but with good manners, then politely excuse yourself and go back to your room. A 16 day cruise is a huge opportunity to travel and experience some luxury.' Read the original article on People
