Six months have passed since Dallas Goedert hauled one in versus the Green Bay Packers and stiff-armed his way into the end zone. It still feels like that wasn't that long ago. Since then, he has enjoyed a roller-coaster ride. He helped the Philadelphia Eagles raise a Lombardi Trophy. Then, elation turned into uncertainty. His offseason turned out to be very humbling.
The only team he has ever played for allowed him and his agent to seek a trade partner. No deal was struck. He returned home. There was no extension waiting for him. Bummer...

A sixth Eagles camp is in the books. The day's events played out familiarly. A member of the coaching staff speaks beforehand. Players speak with the media after the session. Thursday brought special teams coordinator Michael Clay. Later, we heard from the likes of Dallas Goedert and others.
Philadelphia's tight end dropped his first target on Thursday. He was white hot and on his game ever since. Injuries have been discussed with the guys who have been at practice.
Guys who need reps are missing significant time. Guys who have been on the field have battled the white-hot temperatures. Goedert believes it is making him and his teammates a closer and more cohesive unit.
Grant Calcaterra has also enjoyed a decent camp. Not so much for the other tight ends, though. It's early, but the rest of these guys aren't standing out consistently. Don't be shocked if two tight ends are all the Eagles decides they want to carry on the initial 53-man roster.

The project is an alternative way to get anti-obesity drugs to Medicare and Medicaid patients, after the administration said in April that neither program would cover GLP-1s for weight loss. In doing so, it scrapped a 2024 Biden administration proposal for the programs to start covering GLP-1s for patients with obesity. Several high-profile athletes — all of whom have existing ties to Trump — attended the ceremony and will serve on the President's Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition. The attendees included professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau, who will chair the council; controversial National Football League kicker Harrison Butker; World Wrestling Entertainment mainstay Paul 'Triple H' Levesque; golfer Annika Sorenstam; and football Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor. The Eagles running back wasn't in attendance and said he was shocked to hear his name mentioned. The list also includes NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, whom Trump repeatedly scrutinized during his first presidential term. Barkley was criticized during the off-season for spending time with President Trump on a golf outing prior to the Eagles' ring celebration.

With just 13 games played last year, due to setbacks, Brown managed to just crack the 1,000-yard mark with 67 catches. He racked up another seven touchdowns to add to his 49 total for his career. Fresh off a Super Bowl victory, the Eagles played longer than most of the league last year. Some additional rest and recovery surely won't hurt. Soon, the Eagles will fire up their 2025 preseason run. When they take the field against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night, it's unclear if Brown will get the nod to play or not.
