Sault police are investigating an assault incident at the Tim Hortons in Station Mall earlier this month.

On June 11, according to police, an individual was assaulted while standing in line.
'(The) individual was assaulted by an unknown male by way of intentionally bumping them with his shoulder,' said officials with Crime Stoppers of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma District in a news release.
'The male continued walking intentionally close to another person, nearly doing it again.'
The suspect then exited into the mall.

Portions of the incident were captured by video surveillance cameras and the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and Crime Stoppers are requesting the public's assistance with identifying the suspect.

'Do you recognize this individual,' asked Brian Lester, a local director with Crime Stoppers, in a related online video.
Anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact Sault police or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
'Your tip could make a difference,' said Crime Stoppers.
