Woman screams 'I'm going to die' as she dangles above 100ft drop on ferris wheel
This is the nailbiting moment a terrified woman clings on for dear life screaming for help as she dangles from a ferris wheel facing a 100ft drop.
Chilling video footage from a carnival in Mandirituba, southern Brazil, shows her in grave dangers after her legs and most of her body slipped through the safety gate. Gripping onto the carriage's bars, she knows one wrong move could see her plunge to her death.
Phone footage of the drama recorded by horrified onlookers shows the big wheel as it inches around an entire rotation before carrying the woman to the ground. As her arms begin to tire having held firm, she can be heard calling: "Help, I'm going to die! I'm going to fall!"
It later emerged that the woman, who has not been named, had opened the cabin's safety barrier and tried to get out believing the ride had ended. But just as she stepped forward, the ride lurched forward again leaving her clinging to the railings to stop herself falling, NewsX report.
In a statement, Mandirituba City Hall said "The technical team immediately identified the situation and operated the equipment so that the cabin slowly lowered to the ground, allowing the passenger to be safely removed." Despite the terrifying experience, the woman declined medical attention and walked away unhurt but visibly shaken.
It is not the only shocking fairground incident this summer. The waltzers ride at the Galactic Carnival Festival in Wester Hailes, Edinburgh, left children 'shaken up' after it suddenly appeared to malfunction as they went 'flying' with thrill-seekers inside.
Dad Kevin McNulty said after horror in late May that he was in the car on the ride behind his three children aged 13, 12 and 7 when it it suddenly "came completely off" and went "flying" into the seat he was in. It was like "something you see in the movies', Kevin told Edinburgh Live. He said his children were shaken but 'not too bad' considering what happened.
Kevin said: "Last night we were at these shows at Westerhailes Plaza, my three kids were on the Waltzers with myself and Brooke in car behind. Then the unthinkable happened. Going FULL PELT (not slowing down) their car came completely off and then went flying into our car.
'It then smashed about the place crashing into the side off the track, thankfully there was a heavy large speaker that they collided with or they would have been through the whole thing and then the ending would have been a completely different story, a thought I can't stop thinking about.
"The shows continued to go (not the Waltzers) but place should have been shut down for a full inspection. It was like something you see in the movies and my kids are very very lucky that they managed to get out of this still walking."

Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) took drastic action after she discovered her own brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) had betrayed her during the latest episode of the ITV soap Coronation Street's Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) was left on the verge of tears as she was discovered a family member's betrayal during Wednesday's episode. As viewers of the ITV soap will know, earlier in the week, Abi Webster ( Sally Carman) slept with her brother-in-law Carl (Jonathan Howard) after weeks of holding back her feelings. It all came about after she had discovered that her husband Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) had been lying to her about his cancer, having been given the all-clear months ago. She tried to pack her bags after her encounter with Carl, but was persuaded to stay by her stepson Jack (Kyran Bowes) and when the teenager spotted his Aunty Debbie on the Street, she coaxed the situation out of him. The hotel owner, who was diagnosed with vascular dementia earlier this year, stormed round to number 13 to ask what she thought she was doing when her husband is so sick. She told Abi: "If anybody treated me the way you're treating my brother, it's disgusting! Shame on you. In sickness and in health, to death us do part. Does that ring any bells?" In the heat of the moment, Abi revealed the truth as she told a shocked Debbie: "Your precious, do-no-wrong brother has been lying to us all for weeks." Furious, Debbie marched over to the garage where Kevin was at work and yelled: "You're cancer- free!" Through tears, she added: "Of all the despicable things to do, to lie about something like that, when you know what I'm going through. What I've got. Shut your gob!" Kevin tried to wriggle out of the situation, but Debbie was having none of it, as she coldly told him: "I'm sure you can justify giving me sleepless night after sleepless night. I don't want to know, because, that's the most liberating thing about having a terminal illness. You get to choose what you care about." At that point, Debbie turned to her younger brother Carl, and quickly sussed out that he was also in on the lie. Before leaving the scene, the hotel manager looked Kevin in the eye and told him: "I hope you hold onto your wife, because you've just lost your sister." Later on, Abi apologised to Kevin for telling Debbie the truth, but he took full responsibility for the situation. He added: "Can't blame our Debbie for disowning me, I bet you wish you'd left me now," although Abi did not give him a response. Despite the major revelation, Debbie and Kevin are still unaware of Abi's infidelity. Earlier this week, Carl declared that their initial encounter was 'worth the wait' and they kissed Abi claimed that things with Kevin were over. But later, in the Rovers, Carl did not seem so keen on the idea of Abi calling off her entire marriage as she weighed up what they had begun. As viewers will know, last week, Carl organised the theft of an expensive car and is aware that his brother could have him arrested at any moment. "Don't I deserve to be happy?" she asked him and he told her to go home to be with Kevin. In the days before Kevin's brother arrived on the cobbles, the mechanic was famously married to Sally Metcalfe ( Sally Dynevor) and they had daughters Rosie ( Helen Flanagan) and Sophie ( Brooke Vincent) together. They initially split up when Kevin had an an affair with Natalie Barnes ( Denise Welch) but they remarried in 2002. Their marriage survived numerous infidelities on both sides, but ultimately crumbled when Kevin fathered Jack with Molly Dobbs (Vicky Binns) before she died in the 2010 tram crash as part of the programme's 50th anniversary. Carl is the son of Kevin's dad Bill Webster (Peter Armitage) and his second wife Elaine (Judy Gridley) and spent most of his life in Germany with his parents until he arrived on the Manchester backstreet earlier this year. In real life, Jonathan spent 10 years in LA and working alongside big-name stars including Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins, but the 38-year-old actor ranks landing a part in Corrie among his greatest achievements. He told The Mirror: "Being in Coronation Street is just as big a thrill as being in a Hollywood film or an American TV series. Coronation Street fans were left confused when Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) was seen sitting in the Rovers, then back at the garage, and back at the pub again. Coronation Street fans were left puzzled when scenes appeared to air in the wrong order during Monday night's episode. Viewers of ITV's flagship soap tuned in for the first instalment of the week to catch up with the daily lives of their favourite Weatherfield residents, but were left wondering what was happening with the passage of time. Fans will know that Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) had a scene in the Rovers Return in what seemed to be early in the working day and was then seen working at the garage with Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) and Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) but was then again back in the same position in the pub as earlier as if no time had passed at all. It all came amid a huge storyline that had seen Tyrone become involved in Kevin's lie about having cancer. One viewer took to Reddit to say: "There was a scene with Tyrone moping in the Rovers with Lauren and Asha talking about him. Then we see Tyrone in the garage with Carl and Kevin. "Then Tyrone's back to moping in the pub again in exactly the same position as before. Lauren remarks to Kevin that he's been depressing everyone for a while. I suppose it's possible Tyrone went for a mope, went back to work, then back to the Rovers for another mope but it seems a bit odd." Another viewer said they had wondered the same and a third pointed out that the presented time zone of the fictional Manchester backstreet has become something of a 'real issue' of late because nothing seems to be established correctly. They wrote: "When he left the garage he said he'd go talk to Kevin. Then Kevin walks in to find him in the Rovers. "Chronology, if that's the correct term, is a real issue on the show. Time contracts and expands as required or doesn't move at all if that's required lol". Little is known about the times depicted within the episode, but, what is clear, is that all events mentioned by Reddit users have to have taken place at some point in the morning.
