Disgruntled 49ers WR may have indicated a new contract is coming
Jennings according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter would be seeking either a trade or a new long-term contract with the 49ers after finishing last season as their leading wide receiver. He's on track to hold onto that role for at least the start of the 2025 campaign. Despite not having a new deal in place, Jennings played the part of the San Francisco 49ers' top wide receiver on the first day of camp according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner.
Wagoner on Twitter ran through some notes from Day 1 of camp and mentioned Jennings' performance:
While Jennings would be/is justified in wanting an extension, he doesn't seem to be letting it interfere with his preparation. He caught three passes on four targets and appeared to draw a flag on another (had a bad angle on new fields, hence "appeared to"). He also led every receiver drill, which is what you'd expect from the player who as of right now is the team's clear cut No. 1 wideout.
Perhaps Jennings is just the kind of person who's going to practice like normal instead of holding in or holding out.
However, this could also be an indication that there's some sort of deal in the works and Jennings feels like he can push it over the finish line by participating as though there's nothing wrong off the field.
Either way, it's becoming evident why the 49ers like Jennings and why they should extend him even if it means creating a small financial obstacle in the future. They can't just give him the first dollar figure he asks for, but his performance last season and his approach to his first practice of camp should be motivation enough for the 49ers to find a sweet spot on an extension for their breakout star of the 2024 season. This article originally appeared on Niners Wire: Jauan Jennings contract didn't affect 49ers 1st day of training camp

Revealed – Wages Discussed On New Five-Year Deal For Italy Star At Inter Milan
Davide Frattesi could earn €3.4 million net per season on a new five-year deal with Inter Milan. This according to today's print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the 25-year-old will see his earnings bumped up on a new contract. For months, it had seemed all but inevitable that Davide Frattesi would leave the club this summer. And had Simone Inzaghi stayed on as coach, that would have been the case. There was a rift between he and Frattesi. However, Inzaghi decided to leave Inter in search of big money at Al-Hilal. Cristian Chivu arrived to replace him on the Inter bench. Davide Frattesi Could Earn €3.4 Net/Season On New Five-Year Deal With Inter Milan ROTTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – MARCH 05: Davide Frattesi of FC Internazionale during the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Round of 16 first leg match between Feyenoord and FC Internazionale Milano at De Kuip on March 05, 2025 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. (Photo by) Now that Chivu is in charge, plans have changed completely for Davide Frattesi. This about face has a lot to do with the role that the Romanian coach sees for the 25-year-old. Frattesi never quite fit in to the midfield trio in Inzaghi's 3-5-2 system. The previous coach demanded that his midfielders be capable of just about everything on the pitch. On the other hand, Chivu is ready to shift to using attacking midfielders. He'll aim to implement a 3-4-2-1 system with two central players behind one strikers. And in that formation, Frattesi can shine more.

As we are heading towards the end of July, we know Notre Dame football is right around the corner when fall camps starts. Typically teams have about a month from when they report to begin really preparing for the season and when the opener is, which is exactly the case for the Irish. They'll start camp this coming Thursday, July 31st, with the first game being played against Miami on the road on Aug. 31st according to On3. There is plenty of hype surrounding the Notre Dame program at the moment, fresh off an impressive run to the College Football Playoff championship game, followed up by arguably the best recruiting class ever in the 2026 cycle. Head coach Marcus Freeman is also getting plenty of national attention, and big things are expected from this team once again as the season rapidly approaches. Notre Dame does have more than a few questions surrounding its team, but many of the other tops teams are also facing the same issue. The Irish should enjoy another successful regular season, one that propels them once against into the CFP.
