E! News is set to end after 34 years.
PEOPLE has learned E! News — which is currently hosted by Keltie Knight and Justin Sylvester — will air its last episode on Sept. 25.
Employees of the entertainment news show were informed of the network's decision on July 24. E! News will air a repeat episode tonight — with new episodes set to air next week.
After the show ends this fall, E! News will continue as a digital brand — including its website E! Online and social media offerings.
The brand's digital shows including E! News' The Rundown on Snapchat, Hot Goss on Instagram and RE!CAP on YouTube.
On the air, E! will continue its red carpet coverage with Live from E! in addition to its original programming including Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind and Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour as well as its acquired content.
The network also recently announced two new shows: Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane and E!'s Dirty Rotten Scandals.
The news comes after NBCUniversal divided its broadcasting offerings. NBC, Peacock and Bravo will remain parts of the original brand, while the rest of its cable channels — including E!, USA Network, Syfy, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen and Golf Channel — and websites like Fandango and Rotten Tomatoes will move to the new company, Versant.
Some E! News correspondents will transition to Versant, but opportunities for these employees are still being determined.

E! News premiered on Sept. 1, 1991 with original host Dagny Hultgreen.
There have been several iterations of the show since its debut. In 2006, Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic took the reins of the show.
Seacrest left the show in April 2012 and was replaced by Jason Kennedy. As Rancic reduced her role on the show after welcoming son Duke with husband Bill Rancic in 2012, Catt Sadler joined.
Sadler exited the network in December 2017 after a pay dispute. She claimed Kennedy was being paid double her salary.
In a statement to PEOPLE at the time, an E! spokesperson said on behalf of the network and Kennedy, 'E! compensates employees fairly and appropriately based on their roles, regardless of gender. We appreciate Catt Sadler's many contributions at E! News and wish her all the best following her decision to leave the network.'
Two years later, E! News moved its broadcast to New York. The move conceded with Rancic announcing that she would no longer be anchoring the show as she planned to stay in Los Angeles.
Lilliana Vazquez and Scott Tweedie became new co-anchors in New York in January 2020 — but the show was cancelled seven months later amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The show was brought back two years later with hosts Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and Sylvester. Knight was later promoted to co-anchor after Bailon-Houghton's exit in October 2023.

Woolard also expressed his excitement, telling People he had always envisioned the moment of seeing Brown walk down the aisle. "I have always had a very clear picture of standing up at the altar and looking out at the audience and really connecting with everybody," Woolard said. "But then seeing Hannah walk down, I think is something that I've always had a very clear picture of and how I would feel in that moment. And I just, as a man, knowing that I'm going to get married, I've always had that image in my mind." The couple, who chose to live apart before their wedding, shared that they're looking forward to moving in together and "putting down roots" in Nashville. Brown met Woolard on a dating app, and they announced their engagement in August 2023, sharing a sweet carousel of photos on Instagram, including one where they touched foreheads as Brown showed off her engagement ring. "so happy," she wrote in the caption at the time. "i love our steady love. ❤️." Jennifer Lopez suffers wardrobe malfunction during concert

Jennifer Lopez accidentally left her skirt on the floor Friday during a concert in Poland. Lopez, who performed in Warsaw on Friday for her 56th birthday, suffered a wardrobe malfunction during the middle of her celebration. The "Waiting for Tonight" singer was in the midst of receiving birthday wishes during her livestreamed concert when her gold sequined skirt fell to the ground. Lopez glittered in gold wearing a metallic bra with a matching fringed skirt for the show. As she walked across the stage, concert-goers caught a glimpse of her matching underwear when her sparkling skirt hit the stage. "Thank you, Warsaw," Lopez screamed to the crowd when suddenly her skirt broke. "Oh! I'm out here in my underwear." A backup dancer rushed to her side and attempted to cover up Lopez, only for the "Let's Get Loud" singer to throw the broken garment into the crowd. "I'm glad that they reinforced that costume, and I'm glad I had underwear on," she said. "I don't usually wear underwear." Representatives for Lopez did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment. JLo's set to perform once again this week in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It's unclear if any additional precautions are being taken to prevent another on-stage incident. The tour, which began earlier this month, is her first tour in six years. Lopez was slated to embark on the "This is Me… Live" tour in the summer of 2024, but canceled the concerts to spend time with her family. Representatives for Live Nation explained JLo would be "taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends." "I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down," Lopez wrote in her newsletter. "Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time ... " Two months later, Lopez filed for divorce from her fourth husband, Ben Affleck. The Hollywood heavyweights finalized their divorce in January, with both parties waving spousal support, in addition to waiving further discovery proceedings. Affleck and Lopez were married for two years before she filed for divorce on Aug. 20 in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Her petition for the dissolution of their marriage was filed on the two-year anniversary of their Georgia wedding. One month later, the newlyweds hosted a backyard ceremony for friends and family at the $8 million Georgia mansion Affleck purchased when the couple first began dating 20 years ago. Affleck and Lopez first met while working on the set of "Gigli" and were engaged in 2002 with plans to marry in September 2003, but they postponed the wedding and ultimately called off their relationship at the beginning of 2004. "Bennifer" reunited once again before the summer of 2021, and Affleck proposed to Lopez in April while she was taking a bath.
