Suspect in hospital after police shooting in Kansas City, Kansas
KCKPD said officers responded to a domestic disturbance around 3:30 Monday morning on North 78th Street. According to KCKPD, when officers were at the scene, they were involved in a shooting with a male suspect.

The department did not release any details about the shooting.
KCKPD said the suspect was taken to a hospital where he is recovering from the shooting, and no officers were injured in the shooting.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) will conduct the investigation.

Residents launched the recall campaign by filing a formal petition.
