All of these missing persons were tracked within a month, he said.
He mentioned that a Missing Persons Cell, headed by a lady assistant police inspector, is being set up in every police station. He also stated that the govt plans to increase the number of rehabilitation centres for women and old people who have been tracked.
The issue was raised by Shiv Sena (UBT) MLC Sunil Shinde during the question hour. Fadnavis said that under the Police Kaka and Police Didi programme, missing persons will also be included.

Mumbai NGO to hold march to oppose Kurla Dairy land handover for Dharavi redevelopment
Mumbai: Lok Chalwal, a local NGO, will be holding a padyatra (march) from Kurla to Varsha, the official residence of CM Devendra Fadnavis on Aug 7, to highlight their opposition to the govt's decision to hand over 21.3 acres of Kurla Dairy land for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project. Local residents opposed the relocation of Dharavi residents to this plot, pointing out that former CM Eknath Shinde had promised the plot would be developed as an open space.
