All batches of the 500mg per serving capsules are affected by the recall.

Burgers a 'possible health risk' as customers told to get refunds
The supermarket has issued a recall notice Shoppers at a high-end supermarket have been cautioned with a "please do not eat" warning for a favoured item, following a packaging error. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has broadcasted a product recall notice, alerting that individuals with coeliac disease, and/or a gluten or wheat allergy or intolerance, might fall ill if they ingest the product. The FSA announced: "Booths is recalling Aberdeen Angus Beef Meatballs because they contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label, due to a packing error causing the product to contain burgers instead of meatballs. The packaging states that the product is gluten free which is incorrect. "This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten." Guiding consumers on the appropriate actions to take, the FSA continued: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, do not eat it. "Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund." Booths, which has stores across the North of England, explained that the packets of "meatballs" actually contain burgers. The affected items are 288g, bearing a use by date of August 13, 2025. No other batches of Booths' Aberdeen Angus Beef Meatballs are implicated in this recall. Customers seeking additional information can reach out to Booths at 0800 221 8086, Monday to Friday, between 8.30am and 4.30pm.
