Love Island is hit by new fix row as fans claim they've 'worked out' who will be dumped from the villa
In footage that is set to air on Sunday night, an unexpected couple will be asked to leave the villa, as all of this year's former Islanders make a surprise return.
Sources had previously claimed that the couple was chosen after many former Islanders began to 'question the interity' of their connection, but the dumped pair has not yet been revealed.
An insider told The Sun: 'This couple have been a big part of this series so this is a shocking moment.
'But having watched it back, ex- Islanders have become privy to action they weren't fully aware of and it left them more than questioning the integrity of this connection.'
Now fans are convinced that despite a huge row in Friday's episode, Meg and Dejon will keep their places in the villa, having already been saved once over fan favourites Megan and Conor.
Taking to social media, fans expressed their disbelief that the seemingly incompatible couple were receiving more votes than other islanders.
Addressing the ITV show's official X account, one fan fumed: 'FIX - you dumped the most natural compatible warm couple Conor and Megan and kept in devious Dejon and Fatal Attraction Meg just for the ratings. Its a fix love island [sic].'
Others agreed, writing: 'No sorry but love island. If they don't dump Meg and Dijon on Sunday I know it's 1000% a fix.
'No ex islander in their right might wouldn't vote for Meg and Dijon. They know how the public feel. It'll be you that's told them not to vote for them.';
'Love Island this is a f**king fix. All of them are going to target our Queens. Leaving Dejon and Meg to the finals.';
'The ex islanders are obvs not going to vote Meg and Dejon out. This is a fix.'
This is not the first time that the current season of the show has come under fire for seemingly being unfair.
One fan joked: 'the only way to fix love island atp is to stop all the public votes, stop the islanders from being able to save each other, and giving me and my friends the power to choose.'
Now fans are convinced that despite a huge row in Friday's episode, Meg and Dejon will keep their places in the villa, having already been saved over fan favourites Megan and Conor
The allegations come amid reports that the show is experiencing its lowest ever ratings, bringing in one million viewers that have since decreased in number from its opening episode.
This is a significant drop from the 2.5 million fans who tuned into the 2021 season and the 2.4 million who watched the opening episode in 2022.
Former Love Island winner Amber Gill speculated that the show has been losing popularity because of easily offended viewers.
Amber fumed: 'I've just seen articles about a girl saying someone's too glamorous for a 9-5 and everyone's like, "You can't say that!' I need everyone to get several grips."
'No wonder they come f**ing media trained, because God forbid you say anything out of line.
'I remember some of the s*** I said and trust me, I say worse in private!'

Kym Marsh, 49, seemingly hits back at resurfaced Hear'Say 'fat-shaming' clip as she flashes her abs in a black sports bra while posing for a sizzling mirror selfie
Kym Marsh has seemingly hit back at a viral 'fat-shaming' clip from her Hear'Say heyday as she flashed her abs in a mirror selfie on Instagram on Tuesday. In the resurfaced 2002 clip, the singer, 49, was seen being ordered to ' lose weight ' by judge Nigel Lythgoe - who earned the nickname 'Nasty Nigel' for his scathing behaviour on pioneering ITV talent show Popstars. Now, taking to social media, Kym showed off her sizzling figure as she posed for a new selfie. The star turned heads as she flaunted her toned physique in a black sports bra and leggings. 'Building a better me,' she penned on top of the snap. It comes after her former bandmate Myleene Klass, 47, took to Instagram to lash out at comments made by judge Nigel on the ITV show. In the resurfaced 2002 clip, the singer, 49, was seen being ordered to ' lose weight ' by judge Nigel Lythgoe - who earned the nickname 'Nasty Nigel' for his scathing behaviour on pioneering ITV talent show Popstars During their time on the show, Nigel criticised Kym's looks and instructed her to 'lose some weight' as he quizzed her over her diet and fitness during the formation of Hear'Say, their band which ran from 2001 to 2002. In the clip, Kym asked, 'Do you think I'm fat?', to which Nigel replied, 'I think you've put weight on over Christmas, are you exercising, is the diet right?' Kym replied: 'I've just started it today', prompting Nigel to add, 'You need to lose some weight you're going on show six weeks from now, six weeks.' Myleene has reshared the video to her Instagram Stories and said being fat-shamed was a 'daily' occurrence, while stylists would remove sizes from clothes to hide 'the shame' of having double-digit sizes. She wrote: 'Yes Daily. Stylist often cut the sizes out of some bands outfits to hide the 'shame' of 'double digits'. 'My Hear'say diaries are FULL of this s***. The boys were also shamed. Remember, TFI Friday had scales on set.' Kym has been open about her struggles with self-image in the past, saying she became bulimic after she started comparing herself to smaller girls while at stage school when she was younger. Nigel previously defended his comments about Kym on the show, saying: '[She's] looking fabulous now, acting brilliantly, and she's made a huge career for herself.' Hear'Say formed on ITV show Popstars in 2001 and found success with their number one hit Pure and Simple. Their first album Popstars, was a huge hit but their success quickly dwindled by the time they released their second album Everybody. They split up in October 2002, less than two years after being put together on Popstars and cited 'abuse from the public' at the time as the primary reason behind the breakup. Speaking last year, about what pressures she felt as a young person in the spotlight, Myleene told Loose Women viewers their management would 'control how much we were eating' as they were scared they would become 'fat'. She said: 'I mean the scrutiny for a start. My daughter is 17 and if I look at one of my band members Suzie she was 18, so that's one year away. 'I think if someone put my daughter through that level of scrutiny or pressure...' Although she admitted that things have got a lot better since then, Myleene went on to add: 'Some of the experiences that we went through we were in no way equipped for it. 'We were just five kids in a room at the end of the day - not unlike these five kids in a room and that's all you have.'

‘Role model' father who fell to his death at Oasis gig in Wembley named and pictured
A man who fell to his death during Oasis's Saturday night gig at Wembley has been named as Lee Claydon. The father from Bournemouth fell from the upper tier balcony of the London stadium during a sell-out concert by the Gallagher brothers. Describing him as a 'loving family man' who loved fishing and outdoor activities and a 'role model' to his son, Lee's brother Aaron Claydon said: 'We will miss him so very much.' Aaron paid tribute to his brother on a GoFundMe page set up to support Lee's partner, Amanda, and their family. In the post, he said Lee was 'the man I have always looked up to' who 'would have done anything for any of us'. 'Our family has been turned upside down and are struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss,' Aaron wrote. 'Lee leaves behind his son, dad, partner, brothers, sisters, nephews and niece. 'Lee was a loving family man who was a role model to his son Harry and was loved so much by all his family. Lee would have done anything for any of us and he was taken from us far too soon and we will miss him so very much. 'Lee loved all outdoor activities, one of his favourite hobbies was fishing. He also loved music and his guitar. He also really enjoyed going to watch and support the boys and his nephew at their football games. 'Amanda and the boys have our full support at this very sad time, which is why we would love to be able to help them financially as well as emotionally. 'Please help us raise as much funds as we can to take one worry off Amanda and family right now as they are going through any family's worst nightmare.' Aaron also took to Facebook to pay tribute to his brother, writing: 'Still in shock and cannot believe I am writing this, but sadly over the weekend I lost by best mate the man I looked up to and the man I was lucky enough to call my brother Lee Claydon. 'This is gonna be a tough long journey and I have set up this GoFundMe page to help and support his loved ones. Please read and share. 'Until we meet again Rkid.' Lee's cousins, Shannon Gabrielle and Richard Norris, also paid tribute to Lee on the social media platform and shared the fundraiser. 'Absolutely shocked and gutted to hear about our cousin Lee Claydon,' Mr Norris wrote, describing the incident as 'heartbreaking beyond words'. 'Please consider supporting the fundraiser to help his loved ones during yet another incredibly difficult time,' he said. Shannon Gabrielle wrote Lee had died 'after no doubt having the time of his life at the Oasis concert this weekend'. She added his death had 'devastated the whole family' and said any donations would help support his 'closest knit' relatives. 'You just don't fathom you will go out for a night of amazing fun and not come home at the end of it,' she wrote. In a statement issued on Sunday, the Metropolitan Police said: 'A man – aged in his 40s – was found with injuries consistent with a fall. 'He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. 'The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage. 'If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.' The Gallagher brothers also said they had been left 'shocked and saddened' by the news of the death following their show. On Sunday, a spokesperson for Wembley said: 'Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall. 'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. 'The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.'
