Denise Scott made her TV comeback on Monday night's episode of The Project after beating her fight against breast cancer.
The beloved screen star, 69, first revealed her heartbreaking battle with the disease in 2023 after six months of privately undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Then last year, she revealed she had finally been given the all clear from doctors after a total of 17 months of 'non-stop' treatment.
During Monday's episode of The Project, Scott spoke openly about her difficult cancer journey.

The comedian, who was undergoing treatment while filming the first series of Mother & Son, confessed that an on-set mishap almost caused producers to call her an ambulance over fears she was experiencing chemo complications.
'It was the worst time. I was on a really brutal chemotherapy. Every week. And so, yeah, it wasn't the best of times,' she told host Sarah Harris, who asked if filming the show while on chemo had been a welcome distraction.
'I'd started chemo in Melbourne and then moved to Sydney to start filming Mother & Son and continued my treatment there. And the first day of shooting everyone is nervous, and I'm anxious because chemo also really ups the psychological side of things. So I rock up first time, first time I've been in a sitcom, I'm the lead and I'm so scared. It's a really hot day, and this young runner has driven me to set. And I'm so nervous that I guzzle down a bottle of water and then I think 'What have I just drunk?'. It wasn't water. It was hand sanitiser that had liquefied in the Sydney heat!'

Scott said that her panicked reaction to realising what she'd just chucked down her throat sparked chaos among producers on-set who feared something terrible was wrong.
'And they think 'Right! Filming stop! Get the ambulance for Denise it's cancer related!' And I'm trying to speak while [gestures at her mouth]. Anyway, that stuff is like 95% alcohol, I was p*ssed out of my mind for the whole of the first day shoot. If you look at the first scenes of the first series of Mother & Son, I'm completely blitzed.'
Meanwhile, on Monday night Scott also made her welcome return to Have You Been Paying Attention where she was briefly quizzed about her health struggles and how it felt to be back working.
'Well, I'm not dead. Isn't that great news?' she told her co-stars before revealing that she was grateful to have been able to film the second series of Mother & Son while not undergoing chemo again.

Inside Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers' ‘intense' off-camera relationship before shocking abuse claims: report

Don't miss out on the headlines from Reality. Followed categories will be added to My News. Denise Richards was allegedly involved in a 'manipulative' and 'intense' off-camera relationship with her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, while filming Denise Richards & Her Wild Things. 'You could cut tension with a knife sometimes,' an insider claimed to the Daily Mail on Sunday, explaining that the exes were 'passive-aggressive' with each other and would go into separate rooms when the cameras stopped rolling. According to the source, allegedly filming the duo the morning after a night of fighting was difficult because they 'wouldn't speak to each other off camera' despite appearing supportive on TV, reports Page Six. Richards appeared on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Picture: Instagram Phypers popped up regularly on the show. Picture: Instagram The insider claimed Richards, 54, once messed up a scene and Phypers allegedly said, 'Menopause.' The businessman's alleged comments toward the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum made the crew uncomfortable, the source claimed. Per the source, Phypers, 52, appeared 'very threatened' by his estranged wife's success and was allegedly 'trying to prove that he was superior.' 'Aaron walked around as if he was the biggest star on the planet when we were filming,' another source told the outlet. Reps for Richards and Phypers did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment. While Richards and Phypers put on a united front for their audience, their tense relationship was previously shown on a season ten episode of RHOBH. A resurfaced clip showed the TV personality and Phypers holding hands, as she warned him not to 'say a f**king word.' 'Don't tell me what to say. I'm going to crush your f**king hand. Stop it,' he aggressively responded. Insiders have spilled on the tension between the pair behind the scenes. Picture: Instagram News broke earlier this month that Phypers filed for divorce from Richards after six years of marriage. At the time, an insider told the outlet that the duo 'have been having trouble for some time' and those close to them saw it coming. Richards has since accused Phypers of abuse and was granted a temporary restraining order against him after alleging he threatened to kill her and himself if she reported him to police, per court documents obtained by Page Six. The Bravo alum also alleged that her ex gave her a black eye in 2022. Phypers, however, denied the allegations, telling People that the allegations were 'completely false and deeply hurtful.' He also accused Richards of infidelity. This article originally appeared in Page Six and was reproduced with permission. ‘Jimmy Kimmel is next': Donald Trump gloats over Stephen Colbert's cancellation

Don't miss out on the headlines from TV. Followed categories will be added to My News. President Donald Trump addressed CBS' shocking decision to cancel The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, seemingly suggesting that other late night hosts should get a similar treatment – namely his longtime critic, Jimmy Kimmel. 'I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings,' Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social, per Variety. 'I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Has even less talent than Colbert!' Kimmel and Trump have been feuding for years, Decider reports. Not only did Trump blast Kimmel's time hosting the Oscars in 2024, but the late night host has spent almost every single evening on Jimmy Kimmel Live criticising Trump's politics in recent months. Kimmel was even moved to tears after Trump won the presidency in 2024, calling this a 'terrible night' for democracy and claiming he's on Trump's 'list of enemies.' Trump also took a shot at Jimmy Fallon while praising Fox News late night host Greg Gutfield. US President Donald Trump. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon) 'Greg Gutfield is better than all of them combined, including the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great Tonight Show,' he wrote. CBS announced it made the 'financial decision' to cancel The Late Show in a press release shared Thursday (July 17). The show is set to end in May 2026. 'We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire The Late Show franchise at that time. We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television,' the statement reads, per The Hollywood Reporter. 'This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show's performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.' US television host Jimmy Kimmel. (Photo by Chris Delmas / AFP) The decision comes just days after Colbert criticised CBS' parent company for reaching a US$16 million (AU$24.5 million) settlement with President Trump after Trump accused 60 Minutes of editing an interview with Kamala Harris to mislead voters during the presidential election. Paramount is currently in the middle of a merger with Skydance Media that will require approval from Trump's administration. 'I don't know if anything — anything — will repair my trust in this company,' Colbert said on The Late Show earlier this week. 'But, just taking a stab at it, I'd say $16 million would help.' Kimmel wasted no time in speaking out in support of Colbert. 'Love you Stephen. F**k you and all your Sheldons CBS,' he wrote on Instagram. Coldplay CEO's ‘daughter' responds to scandal

Don't miss out on the headlines from Real Life. Followed categories will be added to My News. A social media account claiming to be the daughter of Astronomer's ex-CEO Andy Bryon, who was caught on the Coldplay kiss-cam allegedly cheating, went viral over the weekend, pulling in millions of views before the truth emerged. The account, calling itself ThatMarinagirll, launched just a day after the Bryon scandal hit headlines, claiming to be Marina Byron, the supposedly 23-year-old daughter dealing with her dad's very public affair. It already has nearly 200k followers. In her first clip, warming herself next to an open fire, Marina said she was 'reconnecting with life after your dad's affair makes national news'. That video alone amassed 36 million views in a few days. What followed was a steady stream of self-aware, tongue-in-cheek content, including mentions of family group chats and poking fun at rich-kid stereotypes. One video responded to a comment that read: 'I don't feel bad for rich people,' while Marina ran around on the deck of a private yacht looking carefree. A woman has claimed to be the daughter of Andy Bryon, the ex-CEO at the centre of the Coldplay kiss-cam scandal. Picture: TikTok/thatmarinagirll Others showed screenshots of text exchanges between her and her friends, where they discussed the news. 'I thought it was your dad's doppelganger,' one of the friends says. Marina replies: 'I saw it early this morning … Lord help us'. In another, Marina claims to be texting her mum, who is allegedly processing the news by doing breathwork and manifestation. By the fourth video, the account was promoting a company called Triips, a discount travel website. 'Thanks for the $35 flight, I'm basically healed,' the caption read. She made several videos over the weekend claiming to be dealing with her father's alleged affair. Picture: TikTok/thatmarinagirll The videos were flooded with comments, split into three clear groups. Some offered sympathy, others criticised her for 'capitalising' on her dad's cheating scandal, and some simply didn't believe any of it was real. 'This is honestly iconic. Making lemonade out of lemons,' said one. 'I'm so sorry that happened to you, your mum and family. Infidelity is traumatising for the whole family,' another commented. 'I hope you are healing in any way you can from all of this,' said a third. The account amassed nearly 200k followers in just a few days. Picture: TikTok/thatmarinagirll But not everyone was buying it. 'Trying to go viral off your dad's affair is absolutely insane,' one blunt comment read. 'Wow, imagine using your dad's affair to get famous,' said someone else. Then, scepticism began to surface. 'She isn't his child, y'all,' claimed one. 'It's giving ad,' wrote another. 'Impostor check,' added a third. One account, LizTheMillennial, even created a video claiming the account was fake and that the profile was banning any comments that attempted to share the truth. But people quickly began to grow sceptical of the account. Picture: TikTok/LizTheMillennial So, does Andy Bryon have a daughter? According to public records, Andy Bryon doesn't have a daughter. Bryon and his wife Megan Kerrigan have two sons. There's no mention of a daughter named Marina Bryon. Up until the cheating scandal went viral, Kerrigan was posting happy family photos on Facebook, including their two sons. It appears that the CEO doesn't actually have a daughter, just two sons. Picture: Facebook/MeganKerrigan Bryon's wife, Megan Kerrigan posted happy snaps of the family of four to Facebook, before the alleged affair went public. Facebook/MeganKerrigan Meanwhile, Elon Musk's xAI's bot Grok also fact-checked the claims on social media. 'Based on extensive review … there is no credible evidence of anyone named Marina being Andy Byron's daughter. Confirmed: He and his wife have two sons only. This claim seems baseless or mistaken,' Grok wrote on X. Kerrigan hasn't made any formal comment about the scandal, but reportedly removed her married name from her Facebook last week and has since deleted her account. No one in the family has publicly commented on the incident. Picture: Supplied Adding yet another twist, the videos on the Marina Bryon account were allegedly taken from the social media of a French model and singer-songwriter, Julie Tuzet. Tuzet came forward over the weekend to clear her name. 'Guys, I am not the CEO's daughter. You probably saw this video of me at a fireplace reconnecting with nature. It's just someone who stole my videos and content from TikTok to create this fake news, and it's going viral,' she said in her own TikTok. The real woman in the video made a TikTok claiming the account was impersonating her, and she wasn't the CEO's daughter. Picture: TikTok/julietuzet She is a model and singer-songwriter and says her videos often get stolen online. Picture: TikTok/julietuzet 'Please help me report that person because she blocked me, so I can't report it. I also can't comment anything because she is checking each comment so they don't tag my real account. 'But stay safe, don't believe everything you see on the internet, and help me spread this news because it's wild.' Once the alleged hoax was revealed, many viewers admitted to falling for it. 'Damn, I fell for it, thanks for the truth,' said one comment. 'Makes you really sit down and think what else is fake,' another mused. Another said they felt like they 'got played'. has reached out to ThatMarinaGirll, Julie Tuzet and Triips for comment. Originally published as Coldplay CEO's 'daughter' responds to scandal
