Indian boxing team to train in China!
NEW DELHI: An Indian boxing contingent will travel to China for the first time for a 15-day long training camp in preparation for the forthcoming Asian Youth Games, scheduled in Bahrain from Oct 22 to 31. Ajay Singh , chairman of the interim committee running the day-to-day affairs of Indian boxing, told TOI that a team of under-17 boys and girls will leave for Xinjiang on Aug 15 to train at the province's Ürümqi Olympic Sports Centre. In India, they will further attend a 28-day national camp before departing for Bahrain.
