College Football Fans Announce Boycott Of 'Big Noon Kickoff'
Fox Sports is facing a lot of backlash Wednesday due to the latest report regarding "Big Noon Kickoff."
In 2019, Fox Sports added "Big Noon Kickoff" to its weekend programming to compete with ESPN's "College GameDay." The show features a plethora of notable names, including Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart, Mark Ingram and Brady Quinn.
According to Front Office Sports, there's a chance Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy will join "Big Noon Kickoff" for the 2025 college football season. A deal is being discussed at this time.
"The network is nearing an expansive deal with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that would include him appearing on its college football pregame show. The deal would also involve Barstool content being featured on FS1, sources told Front Office Sports," Ryan Glasspiegel wrote. "The deal has not been finalized, and a Fox Sports spokesperson declined to comment."
Portnoy, in theory, could help Fox Sports improve its ratings for "Big Noon Kickoff." It's a risky move though considering he's a controversial figure.
Judging by the initial reactions to this potential collaboration, Big Ten football fans don't want to see Portnoy on "Big Noon Kickoff" this fall.
"Every Ohio State game is Big Noon Kickoff and they want me to listen to DAVE PORTNOY every week while also never getting a prime time game? This is a nightmare," one fan said.
"As if 'Big Noon Kickoff' couldn't get any worse," a second fan wrote on X.
"Big Noon Kickoff is garbage," a third fan commented.
"Why would I want to see Dave Portnoy on Big Noon Kickoff man, what are these loser media companies doing," a social media user asked.
"As if I needed another reason to not watch Big Noon Kickoff," another person wrote.
Fox Sports is canceling "The Facility" and "Speak," according to The Athletic. It makes sense for the network to add more talent.
Can Portnoy help "Big Noon Kickoff" have its best year yet though? Only time will tell.College Football Fans Announce Boycott Of 'Big Noon Kickoff' first appeared on The Spun on Jul 16, 2025

'Excited & Honored' - Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Celebrates Milestone
'Excited & Honored' - Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Celebrates Milestone originally appeared on The Spun. When the Dallas Cowboys play their first home game at AT&T Stadium this season, there'll be plenty of eyes on their cheerleading squad. It was recently announced that every member of "America's Sweethearts" will receive a 400 percent pay increase this season. Just for reference, former Cowboys cheerleader Jada McLean said she made $15 per hour and $500 for each appearance last season. One cheerleader who'll benefit from this raise is Anna Kate Sundvold. She officially joined "America's Sweethearts" in 2023, making her the second member of her family to represent the franchise. "I grew up always feeling that I was in her shadow, so I decided to go to a different college than she did to make my own path," Anna Kate said. "However, choosing a school about 45 minutes away from Dallas, I was able to see the love Caroline had for this organization and all the girls within. Each girl is so driven in life, and I knew I wanted to surround my years following college with a group of people like them and continue doing what I love most." Prior to becoming a cheerleader for the Cowboys, she was on TCU's dance team. Although the 2025 season is still over a month away, Anna Kate has reason to celebrate this weekend. On Friday night, Anna Kate announced that she'll once again represent the Cowboys this fall. It'll mark her third season in Dallas. "Year 3," she wrote for her Instagram caption. "Forever grateful for these girls and this team! Excited and honored to take on another year." Countless members of the Cowboys' cheerleading squad had kind things to say about Anna Kate. "Cannot wait to dance next to you all year long! Love you so much," Kayla Hayes wrote. "Love you," rookie cheerleader Morgan Perschy commented. "So excited for this year together." The Cowboys will host the New York Giants in their home opener on Sept. 14.'Excited & Honored' - Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Celebrates Milestone first appeared on The Spun on Jul 26, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jul 26, 2025, where it first appeared.

Cowboys Executive Doesn't Hold Back On Trevon Diggs' Rehab Decision
Cowboys Executive Doesn't Hold Back On Trevon Diggs' Rehab Decision originally appeared on The Spun. The Dallas Cowboys kicked off training camp by taking away $500,000 from one of their top players, Pro Bowl cornerback Trevon Diggs. Diggs, who has dealt with a plethora of injuries over the course of his NFL career, was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start training camp. That's not a huge surprise considering he wasn't with the team for the majority of organized team activities earlier this year. Instead of rehabbing at the Cowboys' facility, Diggs opted to recover in South Florida. That decision didn't sit well with the front office in Dallas, so Jerry Jones and his crew took action and exercised a clause in Diggs' contract. If Diggs misses at least 84% of OTAs with the Cowboys, he could get $500,000 shaved off his salary. Well, that's exactly what happened. "No, I didn't expect that," Diggs said last week. "That kind of hurt my feelings. But it's OK. Hopefully I make it back in incentives." While on 105.3 The Fan this Tuesday, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones made it clear the team doesn't regret reducing Diggs' salary by $500,000. "I think a player is much better off training with us than he is somewhere else. I just think the discipline to come in every day, do the work is there when they're here. One thing we can do, which we will continue to do is put in every player's contract, especially guys that we pay significant amounts of money, we expect leadership and we expect them to be here. Certainly we addressed that with Diggs," Jones said. "He certainly paid a price for not being here. But we're paying a price too, because we felt like he'd might be further along had he done his rehab here. He may differ with that. But had he done his rehab here, we feel strongly that he might be further along. That's in the best interest of the team and the organization that comes with getting a big contract, which he received." It's safe to say the Jones family won't back down when it comes to this subject. Diggs can either take the high road or continue this bizarre feud with the front Executive Doesn't Hold Back On Trevon Diggs' Rehab Decision first appeared on The Spun on Jul 30, 2025 This story was originally reported by The Spun on Jul 30, 2025, where it first appeared.
