Beyonce's daughter Blue Ivy's gruelling rehearsals for Cowboy Carter tour
The 13-year-old prodigy left fans slack-jawed when she showcased her impressive moves, on the opening night of Beyonce's Cowboy Carter tour in California on Monday.
Daily Mail can reveal she spent hours a day rehearsing for nearly six months with choreographer Amari Marshall, all while juggling school.
Our source said: 'She's been around Bey's choreographers since she was a baby which is where she picked up her love of dance.
'She has been training with Amari, and they started rehearsing just before Christmas.
'She rehearsed for six hours a day in between school work and has been watching her mum's videos on YouTube.
'She recently got into the Destiny Fulfilled era. Lose My Breath is one of her favorite videos. She has a newfound respect for how hard Beyonce works. Her mom is her hero.'
The gruelling training paid off with the crowd erupting as Blue Ivy joined her mum for Formation, America Has a Problem, Deja Vu, and Protector - which also saw her seven-year-old sister Rumi take the stage.
'Blue even had a hand in some of the creative direction of this tour,' the source said.
Marshall, 31, praised the young teen hours after her Cowboy Carter debut, claiming 'she is the moment'.
'I am just a vessel and I'm here to spread love,' she wrote alongside a video of the teen. 'Watching her shine in her runway walk made my runway heart sing. I'm so happy I was able to work with her, choreograph her twist and step because SHE IS THE MOMENT. Pls know that walk is allllllll HER.'
The choreographer even said there is no special treatment for Blue Ivy.
'She's received no special treatment but some of the choreography was changed so it could be child friendly,' said the insider.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z were reportedly 'apprehensive' about her featuring, but eventually agreed to her pleas to take part.
'Bey and Jay were apprehensive about having her in the public eye and only agreed to her request to perform because her grades are good,' said the insider. 'They want a well-rounded kid so performing is as important to them as her grades.'
Their apprehension no doubt stems from the criticism Blue Ivy received after Renaissance which saw her join her mum for songs My Power and Black Parade.
A then 11-year-old Blue Ivy was cruelly mocked for her 'underwhelming' and 'uncoordinated' performance, with one critic claiming: 'Just being Beyonce's daughter isn't enough.'
Apprehension: 'Bey and Jay were apprehensive about having her in the public eye and only agreed to her request to perform because her grades are good,' said the insider
Marshall previously revealed how she would feed Blue Ivy 'positive reinforced affirmations' and would give her a 'thumbs up' as much as she could.
'I always told her as we progress it's going to get better, but we have to stay committed to the rehearsals and to tune out what everybody's saying,' she recalled of their time together during an interview on the Toure Show last year.
'I wanted to always let her know that you have your own identity and your name is your name. Your reputation is yours because you built that even though you come from a Heritage of phenomenal, incredible people you're going to have your own legacy.'
Blue Ivy, who is scheduled to feature in around half of the 32 Cowboy Carter tour dates, made her musical debut on dad Jay-Z's 2012 single Glory, becoming the youngest person in history to ever chart on Billboard.

Earlier this week, rumours had circulated about Bruno quitting the show as a source said: "The filming schedule in 2024 meant that Bruno could get away with not being present for filming one week of auditions." The 69-year-old joined the judging panel in 2023 alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, following David Walliams' departure. Who is KSI? Married At First Sight 2026's sauciest bride risks major wardrobe malfunction as she marries Aussie reality star in beach ceremony
Married At First Sight has started filming across Sydney - and it seems we've found the sauciest bride of the 2026 season. Gia Fleur was exclusively pictured by Daily Mail Australia on Monday wearing a very racy wedding ensemble as she married Aussie reality star Scott McCristal in a romantic beach ceremony. The bride put on a busty display in a mermaid tail dress, which tightly hugged her figure as she wed the Million Dollar Island alum on Maroubra Beach. The frock boasted long sleeves, an accentuated waist and a high slit up the leg, which saw Gia risk a major wardrobe malfunction as she walked down the aisle. However, it was the frilly, bow-emblazoned garter wrapped around her left leg that raised eyebrows. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Gia finished off the look by sweeping up her golden locks into a bun and wore a jewel-encrusted tiara. Gia's groom was smitten as she came down the aisle. The couple were all smiles as they wed in front of a picturesque beach scene. Scott could be seen leaning back in fits of laughter after one point as they held hands at the altar. The new couple exchanged rings and then a kiss as they said 'I do' for MAFS fans across the globe. Later on, Scott and Gia enjoyed a loved-up photo shoot on the beach, where they could be seen striking a variety of poses. One picture saw the couple in a passionate embrace, with Gia's garter-laden leg lifted up by her husband. Later, Scott carried his new bride across the beach. While the newest season of MAFS has kicked off with a bang, according to reports, it nearly didn't happen. Daily Mail Australia previously revealed the 2026 season almost didn't make it to air after last-minute cast dropouts forced producers to scramble behind the scenes. 'They had multiple people pull out and had to move quickly to fill those spots,' one well-placed source revealed. But the end result? A bold, diverse cast of professionals, creatives, and big personalities - with producers tipping this to be one of the 'most explosive seasons yet.' 'Some couples are hitting it off immediately, others are absolute mismatches - the drama is already building,' one insider said.

Legally Blonde's Selma spoke about the harsh side effects of the illness, such as fatigue and joint pain, as well as the difficulty of juggling the disease with being a single mum to her son Arthur. During the conversation, the Aussie reporter revealed her own personal struggle with the debilitating condition. 'Well, I feel like I wouldn't be honest if I didn't share this, but I lost my own mother to Multiple Sclerosis, so I feel like I have an understanding...' Mylee admitted. Selma, taken aback, offered her condolences to Mylee in a heartfelt moment. 'I'm so sorry. So you understand the fatigue and mother in bed... Was that so hard for you. Were you so young?' she asked the journalist. 'I was fifteen when she passed away,' she revealed, adding that she understood how hard it was for Selma's son to watch his mum suffer. Selma was asked what she's looking forward to now that she has her health back and she said she hasn't had any dreams since her diagnosis. In April, Selma gave an incredible update on her years-long battle with Multiple Sclerosis after hitting numerous red carpets with the help of a cane or service dog 'I think maybe since the diagnosis,' she explained when asked what she meant. Blair continued: 'And now it's like, wait, I realise I don't know what my goals are.' She went on to say that her thoughts are 'much more career-oriented' these days and said she'd love to get back into acting and that is something she is actively working on. Blair announced that she had officially been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in an Instagram post that was shared in August of 2018, revealing she 'hurts all the time' because of her illness. Multiple sclerosis is a condition in which the immune system attacks the body and causes nerve damage to the brain and spinal cord. It is an incurable, lifelong condition.
