Mumbaikars Confused As Man Opens Umbrella Inside Crowded Mumbai Local
Last Updated: A man holding an open umbrella inside a packed Mumbai AC local train has gone viral, leaving commuters confused and amused. Mumbai's local trains are full of surprises, and on July 28, commuters witnessed something truly unexpected. A man was spotted standing inside a crowded air-conditioned local train holding an open umbrella. Yes, inside the coach. The moment was quietly captured by another commuter and posted on Reddit with the caption, 'Today in AC Local." In the viral image, the man calmly holds his open umbrella in the middle of a packed coach while fellow passengers try to move around him. The original post also included a funny prompt: 'Every day, there is something new to see in locals. What interesting things have you all seen in local trains?" Online Reactions: Confused, Amused, and Curious The post quickly gained attention, with over 500 upvotes and dozens of comments. People shared their own strange train experiences and theories. A user tried to make sense of it, suggesting, 'I think he probably didn't get enough space and time to close it without causing inconvenience to others." Another shared, 'Trans harbour line. A man brought his plastic chair to sit on." An individual joked, 'Gotta protect oneself from those UV rays those tubelights are emitting," while someone else questioned the odd behaviour with a laugh. It is still not clear why the man used an umbrella inside the AC coach, but one thing is certain: it added to the daily dose of surprise that comes with travelling in Mumbai's trains. This isn't the only time something strange has gone viral from Mumbai locals. Back in November, a man was seen carrying a small plastic stool inside a crowded train. As seats filled up, he calmly opened his bag, pulled out the foldable chair, placed it on the floor, and sat comfortably in the middle of the crowd. top videos View all The video showed him completely relaxed despite the rush. When he realised someone was filming him, he smiled and even flashed a victory sign, happy with his 'jugaad" solution. One thing is for sure: if you think you have seen it all, Mumbai's trains will always prove you wrong.
