Kurt Geiger moves from London to the slopes for AW25 campaign
The campaign is 'set against blue skies and a sparkling alpine backdrop' with photographer Laura Coulson capturing 'bold new silhouettes, eye-popping colours and striking embellishments' as it focuses on the accessories that turned it from a footwear retailer that also sells bags to those bags making up the biggest chunk of its turnover.
It looks like Ratajkowski should have been pretty chilly but the imagery shows no traces of that and it certainly makes for a strong visual image and a refreshing change from the brand's London-based shots of many previous campaigns.
Not that London is far from its thinking. As for the styles themselves, the AW25 statement starts with 'snow-stopping, all-black drenched accessories', pairing the brand's popular Kensington bag with knee-high, 'sparkling, high-impact boots… a look that despite the alpine setting, truly defines London style'.
Its bags have been reimagined in vibrant hues and faux-fur, available in both miniature and oversized proportions. Colours include cinnamon, taupe, and chocolate brown with pinks and blues plus rainbow-hued crystal embellishments. In fact, Kurt Geiger's rainbow design is the star of many pieces. There's a big focus on textural effects too.
Meanwhile, the boots edit also takes centre stage with the company saying it's all about 'cosy meets cool' (but clearly not chilly). That means sheepskin-lined boots arrive in vibrant rainbow or classic tan hues, ankle boots are made from chunky leather with stud detailing, and heeled suede silhouettes including over-the-knee designs come with sparkling finishes or trimmed with fringe.
It's not all about boots though and among the shoes, the popular Islington sneaker is also reimagined in velvet, mix-and-match metallics, and animal prints.
