Liverpool ready to agree three more transfer deals
It's already been a frantically busy summer for Richard Hughes. The club's sporting director has been very active when it comes to reinforcing Liverpool's squad.

With Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong already secured, Hughes is now working on moves to bring in a centre-back and try to lure Alexander Isak away from Newcastle.
Those two additions would make this an incredible window for Liverpool. However, it's not the only two transfers Hughes is focused on.
He still has some important decisions to make when it comes to potential departures.
There's the notable players like Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa, Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton.
But they aren't the only ones.

The Liverpool ECHO has written about three further deals the Reds are ready to agree including one permanent and two potential loan moves for their exciting wonderkid trio.
The first of these surrounds the future of Luca Stephenson who is the subject of an approach from Aberdeen. According to the report the Scottish side are keen to sign him on a permanent deal from Liverpool.
At this moment in time, there has been no answer from Liverpool whether they would be willing to allow him to leave permanently. It's also important to note that according to the report, Swansea City, Cardiff City, Rotherham and Reading are also believed to be interested in Stephenson.
He is not the only one in high demand.
The report claims the second player under consideration by Liverpool is James McConnell. West Bromwich Albion, Ipswich Town, Derby County, Oxford United and Swansea have all enquired about the player's availability according to the report. Meanwhile, French side Metz are also believed to be admirers of him.
And last but not least Liverpool are also considering a deal for Lewis Koumas. The exciting winger caught the eye at Stoke City last season and has experience playing for Jurgen Klopp in the first team.
Now the ECHO claims that a host of Championship clubs have expressed an interest in the young Welsh star. These include Norwich City, Sheffield United, Hull City, Preston North End, Oxford, Birmingham City and Wrexham.
Meanwhile, most interestingly, the report claims Spanish side Sevilla are also considering a move for Koumas, which could be a great move.
All in all, it's quite clear that Hughes' focus won't just be on incomings. These three deals the Reds are ready to agree are also going to be on his mind.
It's essential he makes the right choice in these situations, too. The likes of Quansah and Morton are examples that the Reds can make a lot of profit from selling on some of their academy stars at the right time.

Born in 1807 in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, Charles Castleman's early life was rooted in the legal profession that ran in his family. One of just three of his ten siblings to survive to adulthood and pursue a career, he established himself as a respected solicitor with offices in Wimborne and Ringwood. Yet, his gaze extended beyond the confines of legal documents to the broader horizon of regional development. He foresaw the immense potential of connecting the rapidly growing town of Southampton with the agricultural heartlands of Dorset and beyond, bridging geographical divides with the revolutionary power of the railway. Castleman's most enduring achievement, and the primary nexus of his connection to Southampton and Bournemouth, was his tireless promotion and eventual construction of the Southampton and Dorchester Railway. Proposed in 1844 and triumphantly opened in 1847, this line was affectionately, and sometimes critically, known as Castleman's Corkscrew. The meandering route, designed to minimise construction costs and leverage existing land ownership, snaked through the landscape, touching towns like Brockenhurst, Ringwood, and Wimborne, before reaching Dorchester. Southampton stood as the vital eastern terminus of Castleman's ambitious project. For centuries, Southampton had thrived as a significant port, a gateway to the world. Castleman recognised that a direct railway link to the west would solidify its position, facilitating the rapid movement of goods, people, and mail, thereby enhancing its commercial viability and strategic importance. He held meetings in Southampton, rallying support for the ambitious undertaking that would directly benefit Southampton's economy and expand its hinterland influence. While there is no evidence to suggest he held significant property, other business ventures, or political office within Southampton itself beyond his role with the railway, his impact was profound. He provided the vital connection that allowed Southampton to fully participate in the railway age, bolstering its status as a premier English port. When Castleman first conceived his railway in the 1840s, Bournemouth was barely a blip on the map – a tiny, embryonic settlement boasting a mere 200 residents. Consequently, "Castleman's Corkscrew" famously bypassed Bournemouth, charting a course further inland through Wimborne and Ringwood. The idea of diverting a costly railway line for such an insignificant hamlet would have been commercially illogical. Yet, the irony of history placed Castleman at the very heart of Bournemouth's dramatic rise. Though the original line eschewed the coastal village, the very existence of the regional railway infrastructure he pioneered created the conditions for Bournemouth's spectacular growth. As the mid-Victorian era progressed, the appeal of seaside resorts surged, and Bournemouth, with its pines, sandy beaches, and clean air, became an increasingly attractive prospect. The demand for better transport links grew exponentially. In 1870, thanks to the groundwork laid by Castleman's vision and the subsequent expansion of the railway network, a direct branch line finally reached Bournemouth. This development, followed by a more direct route in 1888, utterly revolutionised the fledgling resort. Suddenly, visitors from London and other major cities could access Bournemouth with relative ease, transforming it from a quiet coastal hamlet into one of England's most celebrated holiday destinations. While Castleman himself did not directly invest in Bournemouth property or establish businesses within the town, his foundational work on the regional railway system was the essential catalyst for its explosive development. His "corkscrew" may have missed it, but it unwound the future for Bournemouth. Charles Castleman's life, ending in 1876 in Bishopstoke (now Eastleigh), just outside Southampton, reflects the era of rapid industrial and social change he helped to engineer.
