Tasha Ghouri issues fiery statement after public spat with ex Andrew Le Page
Love Island stars Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have put on a united front after their break-up threatened to get very messy indeed.
The couple shockingly ended things at the start of this year, just weeks after the 26-year-old Tasha competed on Strictly Come Dancing with pro-partner Aljaž Škorjanec.
The former couple met on the ITV reality series in 2022 and hit several relationship milestones together, including sharing a dog, purchasing a home and even discussing plans to marry as they looked towards the future together.
Tasha finally opened up about their break up this week on BBC podcast How To Be In Love with Rylan Clarke, admitting Andrew was the first person she fell in love with, but that their relationship fell apart when he failed to provide her with emotional support during Strictly.
She also said there was still a closure chat to be had between them.

After the podcast episode was released, Andrew then took to social media with his own version of events.
'Wasn't gunna speak about it all,' he wrote on Snapchat, as per The Mail.
'However the girl can't keep my name out her mouth even though she's got a new boyfriend. The truth is… she went on Raya whilst we were still together… oops.
'No one is perfect in a relationship but you keep talking **** about me I'll start talking. She did one too many podcasts unfortunately. This is your closure chat.'
Now, Tasha and Andrew have released statements in a united front after they were both on the receiving end of 'nasty' messages online.
'I just want to address recent hurtful comments about me & Andrew. We've always been open about who we are and what we went through, the hate and harsh words have been unfair and overwhelming for both of us,' Tasha wrote on her Instagram Story.
'No one deserves to be torn down, especially when they're already trying to heal. We've both made mistakes, we've both learned, and we've both grown. But the judgement and scrutiny we are facing from people online has been hard.
'Please remember that behind every nasty post, every comment, every story, there are real people with real emotions. Always be kind.
'I want us both to be happy and I wish him nothing but the best.'
Meanwhile, Andrew wrote: 'Tasha and I want to address the noise around our breakup, as there's been hate going around that neither of us ever wanted.
'Things were said on both sides, but at the end of the day, no relationship is perfect, but ours still had some incredible moments I'll always be grateful for.
'I truly just want us both to move on and be happy. Wishing Tasha nothing but the best, and I'll always be proud of her.'
On the podcast episode, Tasha also spoke fondly about Andrew – but pinpointed the moment she knew things were over.
'I learnt so much from him. He taught me so much about love and I will take that with me,' she said.
'Strictly happened and that made us grow apart even more when it should have brought us closer, because it is such an intense 13 weeks,' she continued. 'It's a bubble.'
She claimed Le Page was struggling with what direction he wanted his career to go in, while she was living her dream of competing in Strictly.
'On social media, it did come across that he was supporting me, but emotionally at home, he wasn't,' she claimed. 'I remember this one time I was in the dance off in the semi-finals. I called him and said I feel really nervous. He was just sat there gaming.'
Tasha identified that as the moment she knew it was likely over, saying: 'That's where I started to think I deserve better than that. Why am I settling for something I'm having to really beg for?'
Speaking about the end of what was nearly a three-year relationship, she said her biggest regret was how she ended things, saying she 'should have been nicer'.
She continued: 'It's weird, I feel like we never had that closing chapter. You know when you have that last chat and you have that closure? We didn't have that. And I feel like that's still kind of lingering.'
Tasha shared her hopes they have 'that closure chat' in the future, adding: 'He was also my best friend at the time. He was my everything so I really hope one day when things are settled and we have time to grieve we have time to look back on stuff.'
She concluded: 'I really do hope one day we can get back in touch and find that civilness that we had before.'
At the time of their break-up, Andrew old fans it had been a 'pretty crap start to the year' and that it was the 'end of an era'. He also said he had 'cried more times this year than his whole life'.
At the time Tasha had said she was not going to talk about the split publicly because it was a private matter, but she then opened up about the split in her 2025 memoir Your Superpower.
'I knew deep down it wasn't right,' she wrote. 'There were a lot of tears and it was a really hard time. Andrew was the man I was going to marry. We had discussed having children.'
A source told The Sun in January that the pair reportedly grew distant during Tasha's time in the Strictly ballroom. More Trending
'Tasha was madly in love with Andrew but the cracks started to show when she appeared on Strictly,' the insider said.
'She gave her all in that competition. Her focus was purely on her dances with Aljaž and that drove a wedge between them as time went by.'
Love Island continues on ITV2 and on ITVX.

EastEnders star details nightmare turbulence on flight after travel hell while battling with chronic illness symptoms
EASTENDERS star Melissa Suffield has revealed her nightmare journey home from a family holiday while battling her chronic illness. The actress - who used to play Lucy Beale in the BBC soap - was diagnosed with small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) after experiencing "horrible nausea" in 2023. 2 2 And it has had a huge impact in her life - which makes her family holidays and quality time all the more precious. But today she has revealed that she had the journey from hell home - undoing the good the holiday did. Taking to Instagram, Melissa wrote: 'I've been a bit quiet because life has been a LOT. The trip away was so restorative but honestly the act of getting home undid it 'The ship didn't make it into the final port of my trip due to very bad weather, but obviously my flight was booked from there! 'So booked a flight home from the next available port very last minute, which was a midnight flight, which was delayed by 2 hours because of weather again, and then the ENTIRE 3 hour flight was mad turbulence and lightning out the window I s*** you not. 'I'm not a nervous flyer but I was on that flight. 'Honestly, not a fun experience, followed by only 4 hours of sleep and then a 3 hour train journey home with River and all my luggage. 'On the list of things I simply do not need in my life, this experience was a high ranking one.' Melissa added: 'Not aided by the fact that towards the end of the trip, my symptoms started getting worse. 'I think the combination of not eating anything other than steak and potatoes, as well as the stress of making a new very last minute plan and the childcare and everything that went along with that is probably what did it. Former EastEnders star has had '40 doctors appointments' and spent 'over five figures' amid gruelling health condition 'Also my period always makes everything worse- I've actually just had a test arrive that looks at your DNA and hormones to see if I can pin point anything I'm missing. 'But anyway, I am home now safe and sound, I have done all the washing, I've got full control over my diet again, and I've got my boy back. But I am feeling rough in a way that I haven't in a while, so l'm focusing all my energy on resting. What is SIBO? SIBO is also known as Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. Melissa experiences nausea, reflux, constipation, and other symptoms like her hair falling out and suffering from dry skin. According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition occurs "when there is an abnormal increase in the overall bacterial population in the small intestine — particularly types of bacteria not commonly found in that part of the digestive tract." Symptoms are listed as a loss of appetite, abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, an uncomfortable feeling of fullness after eating, diarrhea, unintentional weight loss, and malnutrition. 'I've got a really busy week next week too, so I've really got to try and get back on top of things quickly tbh. But when your nervous system is frazzled, that time limit way of thinking is completely counter productive.'
