Incredible moment hero lorry driver SAVES person from burning building as smoke pours from windows
This is the heartstopping moment a hero lorry driver reversed his truck near a burning building to save a man.
Huge plumes of black smoke could be seen billowing from a three-storey building in Granby Row, Dublin, yesterday morning.
Dramatic footage posted online shows a Eurospar lorry with its hazard lights flashing edging closer to the building as the inferno rages above a Thai massage parlour.
A man wearing a dark top and trousers then leaps from the block and through the smoke before a deafening thud is heard as he lands on the lorry's roof.
A total of seven people were treated at the scene, with three being taken to hospital for treatment.
Gardai is investigating the blaze with a spokesperson saying the street was closed in order for the scene to be preserved.
A spokesperson said: 'Gardai assisted emergency services at the scene of a fire at a premises on Granby Row, Dublin, this morning, Tuesday 24th June 2025.
'The scene is currently being preserved and street is closed with local diversions in place.
'Three people have been taken to hospital. Investigation is ongoing.'

Photos of the aftermath of the fire shows the building blackened and window frames melted with the glass shattered.
A Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson said earlier: 'Dublin Fire Brigade was called at 0813 hrs to reports of a fire in a building off Granby Row. On arrival firefighters found a four storey building with a fire located on the third floor.
'In total, seven people were treated at the scene with three being transported to hospital by two Dublin Fire Brigade ambulances and one National Ambulance Service ambulance.
'Six fire engines were sent to the incident including a turntable ladder and emergency tender.
'Breathing apparatus teams were committed to fight and extinguish the fire and it is now under control.
'Two fire engines remain on scene along with a District Officer and firefighting operations are ongoing. Traffic restrictions are in place and road users should avoid the area.'

The ship has plexiglass barriers, so it remains unknown how the girl went overboard. The Disney Dream vessel is due to dock in Florida on June 30. It departed Fort Lauderdale on June 26 before arriving in Nassau, The Bahamas, the following morning. The ship then toured around Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on June 28. It cost $900 million to build in 2010 and it has 14 decks. The vessel, which has 1250 cabins, was last refurbished in 2024, according to Cruise Mapper. And, it can reach top speeds of 25mph. In December, a man, 51, traveling on board a Norwegian Cruise Line vessel heading to the Bahamas went overboard. A frantic search was launched before it was later abandoned after officials could not find the passenger. The vessel was in the middle of a Caribbean voyage, having left Port Canaveral on December 21. In December last year, a man vanished without a trace after falling overboard from the Ruby Princess cruise ship. .

Video from Smith showed the yellow Disney rescue vessel bobbing through the rough waters as crew members hauled the child and her father aboard, while worried guests looked on from railings. A wave of relief rippled through the ship once the pair were safely aboard the rescue boat. Passengers watched in stunned silence then could be heard bursting into applause as the pair were saved. Gloucestershire lifeboat station sees record number of donations
