How to destroy Corrupted Items in FBC: Firebreak?
If you're doing jobs in FBC: Firebreak and the Corruption level is high, you'll find some nasty surprises waiting for you. Corrupted Items are basically cursed objects scattered around the Oldest House, and they come with dangerous effects. But unlike most games, Firebreak lets you get rid of them during the mission itself.
To destroy them, you'll need a Black Rock gun. Where to find the Black Rock gun in FBC Firebreak and how to use it
> mission where you need to heat up frozen zones> have augment that causes gun to shoot lava instead of water> try shooting the frozen zone with the lava
Absolutely loving #FBCFirebreak so far i hope the devs add more missions (and interactions like this) pic.twitter.com/uBfnt8n60S — Wiry (@Wiry128) June 17, 2025
You can grab a Black Rock gun from any active Ammo Station on a Clearance 3 job. Look just under the ammo table on the bottom-left side of the station. Sometimes you can also find one in a Shelter if you're lucky. The Black Rock gun fires shards that neutralize the curse.
It carries 90 total shots, 30 in the mag, 60 in reserve, and there's no way to refill it. Thankfully, you only need about 15 bullets to take down one cursed object, so one gun is enough to deal with all three in a mission if you don't waste ammo. Where to find the cursed items and what they do
On Clearance 3 jobs with level 3 Corruption, each of the three map segments will contain one Corrupted Item. They spawn in random spots, and some even move around, so be ready to hunt. Once you find one, blast it with the Black Rock gun until it disappears.
Some cursed items are annoying. Others can ruin your whole run: Table Saw: Disables your entire team's Resonance Shields

Breaks mechanical stuff like generators and power switches Snare Drum: Speeds up enemies, including their attacks
Speeds up enemies, including their attacks Ramen Lantern: Messes with lighting
Messes with lighting Wolf Globe: Weakens gravity
The Ramen Lantern and Wolf Globe aren't too bad, but the Snare Drum is brutal. It affects enemy speed and fire rate, which can make ranged foes, especially heavies, way harder to deal with.
If you want your mission to go smoothly, don't skip the Black Rock gun. Get it early, destroy those cursed items fast, and keep your squad safe from disaster.

PEAK future roadmap explored
Image via Landfall. There is no doubt that PEAK by Aggro Crab and Landfall has to be one of the most talked about video games right now. This title is so simple, but still is jam-packed with great gameplay. PEAK is actually a mountain climbing simulator, which can be played solo or in a squad. A unique feature of this game is that each in-game day features a brand new map across four unique biomes. Players are stranded on a mysterious island, where they need to find their way out scaling mountains by scavenging food and equipping climbing gears. All over, fans have liked this game very much, and that is why we might see new updates of this game very soon. PEAK developers confirmed future updates and localization PEAK will get future major updates. | Image via Landfalll. In a post on Steam, both the developing companies of Peak, Aggro Crab and Landfall thanked the fans for this unwavering support from the fans. In this post, the developers also confirmed that there will be future updates for this game, although they are in the 'very early stages.' As of now Peak has received a number of updates, but all of them were stability and bug fixing patches, so no substantial upgrades or new contents have been implemented so far. However, the game isn't free from all the bugs yet as it is still facing disconnection glitches, optimization issues, crashes, etc. So more small patches are expected to be on the way. In the FAQ section from Landfall's official website, the developers stated that they didn't have any plans for future PEAK updates at that point as both Aggro Crab and Landfall have other projects ahead of them. However, the promising words from the developers via the Steam post seal that there will certainly be major updates in the future, like major content addition or quality of life upgrades. The developer team also confirmed that localization would be coming soon as well, that means the game will support more regional languages, specific UI adjustments and many more. These decisions at least make it sure that the road of PEAK is not ending here, and the developers are definitely having a thought about its future. Actually the developers themselves never thought that a small game like PEAK which costs just $8 would burst into the scene so wildly. The game sold more than two million copies world-wide in just nine days of its release. So, developers have realized that the fans are definitely in for the next stage of PEAK. Turn 2D retro games into stunning 3D worlds: How to use 3dSen emulator
Jun 27, 2025 04:46 PM IST Are you a fan of old-school NES games? Then this news is for you. 3dSen is a new NES emulator available for PC that lets you relive those games in 3D. Right now, there are more than 100 retro games to choose from, and there is a VR version too. It is available on Steam and can be played on Windows, Mac, and SteamOS/Linux. 3dSen brings your favourite NES classics to life by transforming 2D retro games into immersive 3D worlds.(Geod Studio) It took more than 10 years of development to bring this concept to reality. The developer, Tran Vu Truc, had to reconstruct the NES games into 3D because he had to map every element in 3D space. All that was done to bring this unique and polished experience to each of the titles. Now, imagine doing this for every game supported by this emulator. Rather than applying a generic 3D filter to the games, 3dSen relies on custom profiles which define how each element is transformed. These custom profiles are crafted to ensure that every movement in the games feels natural and seamless, just like in the original game. At launch, there were about 70 games, which increased to more than 100 titles, including some of the most popular classics like Super Mario Bros., Contra, The Legend of Zelda, and Mega Man. Key features of 3dSen A complete 3D transformation of classic NES games, giving players a fresh perspective and experience. To add immersion, real-time lighting has been implemented with reworked shadows and animated skyboxes. The game is not only set in a 3D world, but users can customize the camera angle to view and play games from different angles every time. Generic emulator features are also available, like save states, rewind, and fast forward. A VR version called 3dSen VR is also available apart from the regular version for standard monitors. You need to pay a little more than the standard version to experience the NES games in virtual reality. A new way to experience old school classics 3dSen lets you rediscover your favourite NES games in a completely new way. Playing classics like Zelda in 3D gives a chance to experience familiar worlds from a fresh perspective, with new depth and immersion that makes every adventure feel exciting all over again
