One of those female WWE superstars is set to compete at the all-women's Premium Live Event, WWE Evolution II, set to take place on July 13 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. However, following weeks of speculation, her role for the show was revealed, and it was not what many expected.
Which ex-girlfriend of John Cena will compete at WWE Evolution II?
On the July 7th edition of Monday Night RAW, John Cena's longtime ex-girlfriend
appeared in a vignette. She spoke about her return weeks ago and how being attacked by Liv Morgan gave her perspective.
The Fearless One wanted to prove her worth to the fans and show her son, Matteo, what the WWE Universe has seen for years: rise to the top of the heap.
Bella stated that she would be entering the Women's Battle Royal at WWE Evolution II. The winner of the match would receive a Women's Championship match at WWE's forthcoming Premium Live Event, Clash in Paris. The WWE Hall of Famer ended her segment by saying that she wanted that opportunity to once again become champion in the global juggernaut.
However, this came as a disappointing booking for Nikki Bella. Ever since she returned to Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago, she was speculated to feud with Liv Morgan. However, those plans were scrapped after she got injured. There were rumors that Brie Bella would return to team up with Nikki to challenge for the WWE Women's Tag Team titles, but that did not happen either.
Instead, WWE chose to book a top star for a lackluster match at a historic night at WWE Evolution II. While the decision is final, it will be interesting to see if it's Nikki Bella who will be next in line to challenge for the WWE Women's Championship in Paris.

John Cena Reflects On Post-Attitude Era Challenge, Credits WWE's Revival To This Man
John Cena is arguably the most recognized name in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). However, before the rise of Cena, WWE had undergone challenging times in terms of its growth and popularity, particularly after the end of the Attitude Era. Then a part of WWF (World Wrestling Federation), the era, which existed in the late 1990s and early 2000s, featured stunning adult-oriented storylines, spearheaded by stars like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock and Triple H. However, after the departures of Steve Austina and The Rock, WWE's popularity suffered a dip, before being resurrected by the likes of Cena and late wrestler Eddie Guerrero. Cena paid tribute to Guerrero in a recent fan interaction, highlighting the latter's role in bringing WWE back to the top. "WWE went through a boom in the Attitude Era and then all those guys, we fired Stone Cold. The Rock left, The Undertaker got hurt, we changed the name, the XFL failed. There was a lot of upside down stuff. We started SmackDown and it had Kurt Angle as its anchor, but we brought Eddie Guerrero and a bunch of (new guys) like Edge and me and a bunch of other new guys and people trying to find their way," John Cena said, speaking during the FAN EXPO in Denver. "Eddie was our champion for for a certain period of time. And he used to tell me that it is the night when the fewest people show up that you have to work 10 times as hard because the presence in that area isn't as strong," Cena further said, hailing Guerrero. The Attitude Era was followed by the toned-down Ruthless Aggression Era, where the likes of Eddie Guerrero played a leading role. Eventually, John Cena rose to popularity, taking advantage of the platform built by Guerrero and co.

That's not getting me any titles. I want the da*n title back. I want that win over Randy [Orton] to put me on track. To beat [John] Cena, the current b***h version of Cena, and he screwed it all up.
