The CM also released two works published by the Central Institute of Classical Tamil — Tamil Vinayadigal - Varalatru Mozhiyiyal Ayvu by Rajendran Sankaravelayuthan and Sanga Ilakkiya Solvalam by P.R. Subramanian. Mr. Stalin also handed over enhanced financial aid to elderly Tamil scholars — M. Chakkaravarthi, R. Mohanasundaram, Bhanumathi alias Aathira Mullai, A. Idayageetham Ramanujam and N. Sundari. The CM also released a book listing out the achievements of the DMK government during the past four years, as published by Tamilarasu.
The CM also handed over prizes to students, who emerged winners in various competitions held to mark 'Semmozhi Day'.
Ministers K.N. Nehru, I. Periyasamy, .V. Velu, M.R.K. Panneerselvam, KR. Periakaruppan, M.P. Saminathan, Ma. Subramanian, P.K. Sekarbabu, Chennai Mayor R. Priya; MDMK founder Vaiko, VCK founder Thol. Thirumavalavan, CPI state secretary R. Mutharasan, IUML national president K.M. Khader Mohideen, MPs A. Raja and Dayanidhi Maran; legislators Thayagam Kavi and senior officials were also among those present.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Stalin accompanied by Ministers and elected representatives paid floral tributes at the memorial of late leader M. Karunanidhi in Anna Square, statue of the late leader in Omandurar Government Estate campus and other places.

Ahead of the next year's Assembly polls, DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Thursday launched his party's public outreach programme 'Tamil Nadu under One Roof', aimed at enrolling a two crore members and bringing people together 'to protect Tamil land, language, and pride.' Mr. Stalin, accompanied by Health Minister Ma. Subramanian and senior party leaders, went door to door in Alwarpet, Chennai, meeting people. In a message on X, he said Tamil Nadu should transcend narrow sectarian considerations to protect its land, language, and pride. 'In the next 45 days, Ministers, district secretaries, MLAs, MPs, and senior leaders will take part in the campaign,' he said. The Chief Minister's visit evoked great enthusiasm among the people. During his interactions with them, he distributed a questionnaire and elicited their responses. People also expressed the need to protect Tamil Nadu and its language to ensure the welfare of Tamils. He said the DMK government had been making every effort to safeguard the language, culture, and land of Tamil Nadu. People also urged the Chief Minister to take measures to protect the interests of farmers, weavers, fishermen, and other sections of society. Women told him that the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme had ensured their self-respect, and that Tamil Nadu was leading in education, industrial development, and women's welfare. They also emphasised the importance of securing a bright future for the state's youth. People responded positively to the question on whether Tamil Nadu would be led by a Chief Minister who would not be intimidated by pressure from Delhi and would provide a stable government. They expressed their willingness to participate in the DMK's campaign and wanted Mr. Stalin to continue as Chief Minister to transform Tamil Nadu into a major economic power.
