Deion Sanders fall camp press conference live updates

Stage is set for Coach Prime's presser at 11. Alongside Coach, Dr. Janet Kukreja (Director of Urologic Oncology) Deion Sanders has been absent from Colorado football for most of the 2025 offseason due to an unspecified health issue. Despite showing up earlier this month at Big 12 media days, Sanders declined to discuss his health, instead opting to address the topic during a press conference Monday, which coincides with Colorado's first day of fall camp. Sanders will be joined by medical professionals, including representatives from CU Anschutz and UCHealth. The only public detail we know about the ailment is that he told Asant Samuel on a podcast in May that he lost 14 pounds and that what Sanders was dealing with was at "another level." In addition to attending Big 12 media days in early July, Sanders was spotted last week at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' training camp, where he visited his son, Shilo Sanders. With fall camp now underway, Colorado will begin preparing for their season opener against Georgia Tech, which is about a month away, on Aug. 29. Notre Dame, Wake Forest to meet in the 2027 Duke's Mayo Classic in Charlotte

Notre Dame football is heading to the Queen City in what will be quite a zesty matchup. The Fighting Irish and Wake Forest agreed to play in the Duke's Mayo Classic at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. on Saturday, October 9, 2027. The game is part of ND's scheduling agreement with the ACC and will be played as a neutral-site matchup. The Irish are 6-0 against the Demon Deacons, winning the last meeting 47-7 in 2023 at Notre Dame Stadium. The two programs have never played a neutral-site game against one another. The game against Wake will mark the second time the Irish have played at Bank of America Stadium, the first being the 2020 ACC title game when they competed as a member of the conference. A big question surrounding this game will be if the Mayo shower will happen to the winning coach. We all hope that Marcus Freeman isn't allergic. BTN analyst likes Spartans addition of Carlos Medlock Jr., 'Izzo got a DAWG'

Izzo got a tell Izzo is out there personally recruiting, not relying on stars or rankings. One Big Ten Network analyst loves the addition of Carlos Medlock Jr. to the Spartans' 2026 class. Michigan State basketball picked up its first commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle from Medlock last week, which garnered a lot of excitement from the fanbase. Medlock is a four-star prospect and ranked as one of the top point guards in the country on 247Sports. Fans being excited about a commitment is always expected, but what about the media and analyst closer to the game? Well, Rapheal Davis of the Big Ten Network is equally excited about this pickup for the Spartans. Davis responded to a fan asking about Medlock's commitment to Michigan State by stating "(Tom) Izzo got a DAWG." Additionally, Davis noted that the addition of Medlock is a feather in the cap to Izzo for not solely leaning on recruiting rankings and finding an under-the-radar prospect that has recently blown up on the recruiting scene. When Michigan State first offered Medlock, he was a three-star prospect with mostly mid-major offers.
