BTS-Themed Rakhis Hit Indian Market And Desi Fans Are Loving It
BTS group has never visited India, but they still enjoy a fan following of millions in the country.
BTS might have never stepped in India, but that doesn't mean they don't have ardent fans here. The country is among the top ones when it comes to streaming their songs and solo projects. If anything, the K-pop supergroup has a fan following of millions in India. So much so that their presence is felt everywhere, even without BTS ever setting foot here. From school notebooks to soft toys, key chains, and whatnot, you name it, and you will definitely find some unofficial merchandise with their faces on it.
The latest item to join the craze is a BTS-themed rakhi for the upcoming festival of Rakshabandhan. A fan in Hyderabad recently discovered a store selling rakhis featuring motifs of RJ, a cute alpaca character created by Jin for the BT21 brand. These cute rakhis were likely priced between Rs 10 and Rs 15, making them perfectly affordable for everyone.

Fans React To Rakhis With RJ's Face
In no time, ARMYs took note of the viral post and started sharing how they might buy such rakhis to wear as bracelets, while another section also discussed BTS' popularity in India. 'Mereko rakhi pehna do (tie this rakhi to me). I promise I'll protect you," said one user. Another added, 'I'm not even a Hindu, but WELL GIVE IT TO ME IMMA KEEP IT AS A GIFT." A different fan mischievously commented, 'I will buy it if it's available in my area in the name of my brother for myself."
Is BTS Coming To India?
Ever since the BTS members – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – completed their military services, fans eagerly waited for the announcement of their new project. And they did not disappoint. They not only announced a brand-new album, scheduled for release between March and May 2026, but BTS also spoke about their highly anticipated world tour.
With this announcement, and the launch of HYBE India by September or October of this year, the buzz surrounding their shows has intensified. There is a possibility that BTS might organise shows in India as part of their world tour, but nothing is confirmed as of now.
Right now, the seven members are in the US, working on their upcoming album. In the meantime, there is a possibility of solo projects from the septet in the coming months.
Also, they made their return to the music scene, as a unit, after three years with the live album, Permission to Dance On Stage- Live, which was released on July 18.

The Moment We've All Been Waiting For Has Finally Arrived Hold onto your seats, because the collaboration we never knew we needed is about to drop! On July 25th, American rapper Saweetie officially confirmed what K-pop fans had been speculating about for weeks - she's teamed up with TWICE for an upcoming track called " Superstars ," and it's set to release on August 1st. This announcement sent shockwaves through both the K-pop and Western music communities, proving once again that music truly knows no boundaries. The fusion of TWICE's signature bubbly energy with Saweetie's fierce rap style promises to be nothing short of spectacular. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Cardiologists: 1 Teaspoon of This Before Bed Melts Belly Fat Like Crazy Hollywood News | USA Undo Behind-the-Scenes Magic at JYP Entertainment What makes this collaboration even more exciting is the adorable behind-the-scenes content that Saweetie shared. The video shows her dancing alongside all nine TWICE members inside the iconic JYP Entertainment building, and honestly, the chemistry between them is absolutely infectious. Watching Saweetie groove to "Superstars" with Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu feels like witnessing music history in the making. The casual, fun atmosphere in the video suggests that this collaboration came from a place of genuine mutual respect and artistic excitement rather than just a calculated business move. The Plot Thickens: Earlier Hints Were Right There Plot twist alert! Before this official announcement, eagle-eyed fans had already started connecting the dots. Saweetie had previously posted a video of herself dancing with TWICE to their new title track "This Is For," which immediately sparked rumors about a potential collaboration. Those fan theories weren't just wishful thinking - they were spot on! This proves that sometimes the K-pop detective work that fans do on social media actually pays off. The fact that Saweetie was already vibing with TWICE's music before their official collaboration shows how organic this partnership really is. Why This Collaboration Is a Game-Changer for Both Artists This isn't just another celebrity team-up; it's a strategic move that benefits everyone involved. For TWICE, collaborating with Saweetie opens doors to the American hip-hop scene and introduces their music to a completely different demographic. Meanwhile, Saweetie gets to tap into the massive, passionate K-pop fanbase that spans across continents. The timing couldn't be more perfect either. With K-pop's global influence at an all-time high and Western artists increasingly recognizing the power of Korean music, "Superstars" represents exactly the kind of cross-cultural collaboration that today's music landscape demands. It's likely to dominate charts in both Korea and internationally, creating a win-win situation for both parties. From a cultural perspective, this collaboration also represents the beautiful fusion of different musical traditions. TWICE's polished pop sensibilities combined with Saweetie's bold rap style could very well set the template for future East-West musical partnerships.
