Natalie Portman's rarely seen son, 13, calls in mom to impress YouTube star
The Oscar winner, 44, who recently stunned at the Dior show in Rome, lives in Paris with her two children, Aleph, 13, and Amalia, eight, whom she shares with ex-husband Benjamin Millepied, 48.
Her oldest was having a fanboy moment with the YouTuber Marlon LuGu, when he name dropped his mom.
'You know Star Wars? Padme Amidala?' the teen asked the 23-year-old Swedish social media star, whose full name is Marlon Lundgren Garcia.
'Well, that's my mom.' he revealed, asking: 'Can you give a shoutout to my mom?'
The verify his claim, Aleph shared some family photos from his phone.
'That's your mom?!' Marlon asked in disbelief to which the middle schooler replied, 'Yeah, that's my mom.'
The streamer quickly took the opportunity to say 'hi' to the Black Swan star.
After Aleph called his mother, the actress' face popped up on the screen and he said, 'Mom, do you want to say hi to Marlon?'
He then handed to the phone to the social media star, who said: 'Hi, I'm sorry for disturbing you, I just want to say hi real quick.'
'Nice to meet you,' she said.
'Nice to meet you,' Marlon replied. 'I'm here with your son real quick, we're about to play a little football.'
'I'm sorry I can't hear anything,' said the star who was having her hair done. 'But I hope you're having a great day.'
'Appreciate you,' Marlon replied and then after a little more small talk Portman bid him adieu by saying, 'have a good one.'
'You know Star Wars ? Padme Amidala?' the teen asked the social media star while he was making some content. 'Well, that's my mom.' he revealed, asking, 'Can you give a shoutout to my mom?'
Portman has kept her children largely out of the spotlight since moving to France in 2014.
After the brief exchange, the YouTuber turned to his 395,000 subscribers and admitted he was floored.
'When I was growing up and watched Star Wars really heavily, she was my biggest crush,' he said. 'Very beautiful woman. Very good son. I just want to respectfully say that. That's insane.'
In past interviews, she's credited the country's culture with giving her family more privacy.
'They're very good at privacy here,' she told Net-a-Porter.
'I feel like the biggest compliment is 'elle est très discrète' ['she is very discreet'],'
She also praised the way French children are raised. 'All the kids that come to my house are like, 'Bonjour Madame,' and give me the [cheek-to-cheek kiss],' she said. 'And before they leave, they say, 'Thank you for having me.' If I'm not nearby, they'll come find me to say it.'

With a luxuriously large ensemble, ranging from the batsqueak of the sopranino recorder to the thwack of bass drums, Garcia-Alarcón summons Rameau's shimmering effects; period bassoons add an invigorating burr. The high point is a climactic chorus, Forêts paisibles, where an exhilarating display of physical prowess from the dancers doesn't come at the expense of vocal and instrumental glitter. Regrets? A few more than rien, unfortunately. Visual monotony dulls the musical colours — the rudimentary lighting effects leave the orchestra stranded in half-gloom, often the performers too. Sending the singers or dancers for sorties into the audience feels haphazard, rather than atmospheric. And a few attempts to nod to the intricacies of the original plot left me largely baffled (the four characterful singers — Laurène Paternò, Ana Quintans, Alasdair Kent and the especially impressive baritone Andreas Wolf — take multiple roles). John Cena and Idris Elba team up for buddy movie 'Heads of State'
LONDON, July 1 (Reuters) - Actors John Cena and Idris Elba embark on a wild friendship journey in the comedy action adventure "Heads of State." Cena plays Hollywood action hero turned U.S. President Will Derringer, while Elba stars as the experienced and cranky British Prime Minister Sam Clarke, an army veteran. When a tense meeting between the two disparate leaders is followed by an attack that threatens to blow up the world order, they must come together to save the day. Cena and Elba, who also executive produced the movie, previously worked together on the 2021 superhero film "The Suicide Squad." "Honestly, our time on screen is effortless. He brings the best out of me and, in his words, I try to do my best to provide an environment where he can shine," Cena said at the movie's London premiere on Tuesday. "I love the friendship nature of this film," he added. The movie is directed by Russian filmmaker and musician Ilya Naishuller, who said Cena and Elba brought a realness to their roles. "They feed off each other as any good couple would, and they know how to argue together in such a way where this is the perfect combination of the American happy-go-lucky, optimistic president and the prime minister who is real about the job and how difficult it is," Naishuller said, adding he set out to make a summer blockbuster in the vein of the buddy action comedies of the 1980s and 90s. "The goal was, I want to do an hour and 45 of the highest quality entertainment I can do and just do a crowd-pleaser and make sure that the people sitting at home on July the 4th are going to be united and having a great time," he said. "Heads of State" also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas in the role of the pun-loving top MI6 agent Noel Bisset. "It was really different, because it was a comedy. Most of the action I've done has been in drama and thrillers," Chopra Jonas said. "I love my puns," she added. "I mean, listen, I love a good pun. You've got to be smart to be punny." Cheryl is 'is in talks for TV return as talent show mentor' five years after her last on-screen gig as she 'kickstarts career comeback' after ex Liam Payne's death
Cheryl could reportedly be set for a return to TV as she's being eyed up for a mentoring role on the next series of The Voice. The former Girls Aloud star's last appeared on TV as a dance captain on The Greatest Dancer back in 2019. But according to The Sun, Cheryl may be making her talent show return alongside her longtime pal as a guest mentor mentor on The Voice. The 14th series is reportedly set to see a return of the Battle Rounds and Cheryl is said to be in talks to mentor team. A source said: ' and Cheryl first worked together 16 years ago and have remained good friends ever since. 'She was the obvious choice to mentor his team when the Battle Rounds return four years after being axed. 'A lot has happened in Cheryl's personal life since she was last working on a talent show — BBC's The Greatest Dancer — so she's taking baby steps to put herself back out there. 'Teaming up with as a guest mentor seems the perfect way to kick-start her comeback.' But despite moving on romantically from the Girls Aloud singer, the One Direction star made his feelings very clear, hailing her as 'the most important person' in his life, and praising her for always being there for him, despite their split. The former couple lived just minutes away from each other and before his death Liam revealed their relationship was stronger than ever, describing Cheryl as 'the best mum in the world' to co-parent with. Cheryl was later revealed to have the heartbreaking task of raising her son without his father, but a new dimension to that task emerged when it was revealed that Liam died without leaving a will. It meant that his £24million fortune will go to Bear, and Cheryl has been named administrator, meaning she will be entrusted with protecting the money for her son.
