A journalist asked the world No61: "Some of the gossip has been about who Emma Raducanu is dating. "Can I ask if you are dating her? Can we get to the bottom of this please?" A perplexed Norrie replied: "Sorry?" The reporter then responded: "I am trying to find out who is dating Emma Raducanu. "It seems to be going around all the men's singles... I was wondering if you're dating her, please?" A clearly uncomfortable Norrie then said: "I'm not, no. You can ask her. I don't know." The 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist is in a relationship with Louise Jacobi. Norrie reportedly met the New York-born textiles designer five years ago. Raducanu, who was defeated by world No1 Aryna Sabalenka last night, has played down her relationship with Alcaraz and claimed they are just good friends. Emma Raducanu giggles as she addresses Carlos Alcaraz relationship ahead of Wimbledon It comes after a source exclusively revealed to SunSport that the pair had a "spark" and arrived at the Queen's tournament last month within minutes of each other amid suggestions of spending cosy days together. On her bond with Alcaraz, Raducanu said: "I've known him for years. "Wimbledon 2021 was the first time I started getting to know him, and I had a good run there and then also again in the US Open in 2021. "We have a good relationship still. He's obviously overtaken me a lot, but it's nice that we have that from a while ago. "I think for all of us, we really kind of value those connections that we had from when we were young because when you become a bit more known or a bit more successful, you just find yourself reverting back to people you knew from a young age because you're like, that's a real genuine connection. "Because it becomes very busy and you have a lot more friends but the ones that you've known for a long time mean a lot more to you." 4

Ann Bray and her boyfriend Jonathan Leonard were involved in a 'campaign of rape' during which she would film the attacks and send him the videos. The schoolgirl was used as a 'sex object' and assaulted in a 'threesome and rewarded with money'. Bray, 62, from Newport and Leonard, 58, from Caldicot, were both jailed for 23 years each. (Image: Gareth Colsey) A man who repeatedly raped a woman has been jailed for 11 years. (Image: Daniel Beatty) A disgraced former primary school teaching assistant was sent to prison for 12 months after being caught with child rape images. Convicted paedophile Daniel Beatty, aged 33, from Newport was jailed for three years in 2015 after he sexually touched an 11-year-boy and showed him pornography. Those offences took place when he was employed at a city school and "preyed" on his victim. He was back in court a decade on after police caught him with two category A images indecent images – the worst kind – on his mobile phone. (Image: Ashley Stockwell) Ashley Stockwell was part of a gang who assaulted a father in a pub sticking up for his barmaid daughter who was being verbally abused. The violence unfolded at the Dorallt Inn in Cwmbran. Newport Crown Court heard that it was probably a 'cowardly' punch by Stockwell which left him with a fractured jaw.
