Lola Yamaha ABT driver Lucas Di Grassi has finally shared his experience of racing in Tokyo and Shanghai. He stood fifth in the Round 9 race in Tokyo, which was his best performance in the four races held in the two cities.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Di Grassi has now spoken about taking part in the two double headers and how he scored 30 points this season while his teammate Zane Maloney is still evolving as a Formula E driver.
Lucas Di Grassi on taking part in Formula E races in Tokyo and Shanghai
Talking about the two double headers and the Round 8 race, in which he finished 17th, Lucas Di Grassi said in the video, 'Tokyo, the most congested circuit of the year, and Shanghai, the track that everyone knows from Formula 1, with a shortcut, a short version, but a high-speed track.
And two interesting results. Tokyo, the first race was in the rain, they canceled qualifying, we ended up washing up at the back, because they used the result of Free Practice 2, anyway, they canceled qualifying, so we started at the back and stayed at the back, the way it was, you can't even see a meter in front.
It was a very difficult thing.'
Di Grassi also talked in detail about the Round 9 race in Tokyo in which he gained 5th position.
He said, 'In race 2, we were very fast in the dry. In qualifying, I was the fastest in the group, even with the Lola Yamaha car that is still under development. So it was the best qualifying of the year in terms of results, P1 in the group, ahead of Nato, ahead of a group that has a well-developed car, so it was very good. In the race, we ended up fighting for the top 10 and ended up finishing in fifth place, getting 10 points in Tokyo.
'It was very important at Yamaha's home, with the Yamaha guys there. Yamaha is increasingly involved in the championship, increasingly involved in our team, putting a lot of resources, especially for the 4th generation, which is next year and the year after. So, it was a very important race,' he added.
Lucas Di Grassi called the Shanghai race the opposite of Tokyo. He finished 18th in Round 10 and 9th in the Round 11 race in Shanghai.
Lucas Di Grassi on his performance this season and his future plans
Lucas Di Grassi is currently in the 16th position in the 2025 Formula E Driver Standings. He summed up his Formula E season with Lola Yamaha ABT so far and said, 'So we've already accumulated 30 points this year with the team. I scored all of the points. Zane Maloney is still learning and evolving. It's very fast, but it still needs to evolve in terms of Formula E experience. So, we have 30 points, six times, seven times more than I had last year with Mahindra.
So, the team is evolving. Even though it's the first year, we're moving forward.'
Di Grassi is all pepped up for the next five races. Talking about the Jakarta E-Prix and the following races in Berlin and London, he said, 'I have to say that we have been working hard. Next week there will be a test. The week after that, we will travel to Jakarta. So, we will go full force in these last five stages of the championship, trying to get another podium or at least score points, get a lot of points in these next stages.
Thanks for the support.'

Prithvi Shaw's Birthday Bash Video With Late Actress Shefali Jariwala Goes Viral After Her Sudden Death

In a heartbreaking turn of events, actress and reality TV star Shefali Jariwala, famously known as the 'Kaanta Laga' girl, passed away late Friday night, June 27, 2025, after suffering a cardiac arrest in Mumbai. She was rushed to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Shefali, who had once battled epilepsy in her youth but remained seizure-free for over two decades, was just 42. The news of her untimely demise has shocked the entertainment industry and her legion of fans, with tributes flooding social media platforms. Don't know whether he is like Lara, Sachin and Sehwag but he is currently Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Prem — Sunil the Cricketer (@1sInto2s) November 9, 2024 As the nation continues to grapple with Shefali's death, an old video from cricketer Prithvi Shaw's 25th birthday party on November 9, 2024, has resurfaced—taking the internet by storm. The now-viral clip shows Shefali dancing joyously alongside Shaw, her husband Parag Tyagi, and close friends in a lively, carefree celebration. The emotional weight of the video has intensified following her passing. Many fans see it as a bittersweet memory—an embodiment of Shefali's vibrant personality and zest for life. The clip, now circulating widely on Instagram and YouTube Shorts, is being shared as a tribute to her enduring spirit. Interestingly, Shaw himself has been facing career setbacks—having been dropped from both the Indian national team and Team Mumbai in Ranji Trophy 2024-25, and going unsold in the IPL 2025 auction. The coincidence of their resurfaced clip amid respective life lows has drawn public attention. Astrology Podcast Predicting Health Risks Resurfaces Adding a layer of eerie intrigue to the tragedy, a 2024 podcast episode of "Abraa ka Dabra Show" hosted by Paras Chhabra, Shefali's former Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant, has gone viral. In the episode, Paras analyzed Shefali's horoscope and pointed to ominous planetary alignments in her 8th house—considered astrologically significant for matters related to sudden death, health crises, fame, and hidden forces. 'Moon and Ketu's combination is one of the worst, especially when joined by Mercury. This points to anxiety, neurological challenges, and sudden loss,' Chhabra noted in the episode, now widely shared on X (formerly Twitter). He advised her to seek spiritual solace in the mountains and visit religious shrines like Mata Rani temples and Jyotirlingas to combat mental distress. For many, the resurfaced horoscope segment feels hauntingly prophetic in light of Shefali's unexpected cardiac arrest. Parag Tyagi's Heartfelt Plea and Final Goodbye After Shefali's cremation at Oshiwara Crematorium on June 28, her grieving husband Parag Tyagi appeared before the media with folded hands. Fighting back tears, he appealed for respect and prayers. 'Please don't make this a mockery. I request everyone to pray for my angel. May she find peace wherever she is,' he said emotionally. The emotional farewell resonated deeply across the internet, with fans rallying around the actor in support. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also posted a heartfelt condolence, saying, 'Bahut jaldi alvida keh gayi… Bhagwan unki aatma ko shanti de.' Legacy, Life, and Unanswered Questions Shefali's final days were filled with moments of life and celebration. Earlier in June, she posted photos from Melbourne Cricket Ground, leaving fans guessing whether it was a personal trip or a work-related project. She remained active and vibrant, making her sudden death all the more shocking. Her passing has sparked renewed conversations around mental health, cardiac wellness in women, and the role of astrology in modern lives. Shefali Jariwala may be gone, but the legacy she leaves behind—in dance, resilience, and spirit—remains etched in public memory.

Are Sabrina Carpenter and Oregon QB Luke Moga dating? Viral burger date fuels speculation

Sabrina Carpenter and Oregon quarterback Luke Moga sparked dating rumors (Images via Getty Images & IG) College football just collided with pop stardom—and it's not because of a touchdown. Sabrina Carpenter , the chart-topping singer currently dominating headlines for her bold performances and empowering messages, is now at the center of a budding dating rumor with Oregon quarterback Luke Moga. The pair were recently spotted sharing a casual meal in Eugene, Oregon, and it didn't take long for the photo to explode across social media. Pop star meets rising QB: Viral burger outing fuels unlikely romance buzz The unexpected pairing— Sabrina Carpenter in her pink pop prime and Luke Moga, a redshirt freshman who has yet to take a college snap—has sent fans into a frenzy. While neither party has confirmed anything romantic, the internet is doing what it does best: fueling the speculation with memes, jokes, and full-blown shipping. And it wasn't just fans who chimed in. Cleveland Browns rookie Dillon Gabriel, who previously played at Oregon, threw fuel on the fire with a playful Instagram story after the viral burger date. Sharing the image, he wrote: 'Hard launch bro! Happy for you guys.' The cheeky remark instantly sparked even more buzz, with Ducks fans declaring Moga 'QB1'—not just on the field, but in the dating game too. Gabriel's comment may have been in jest, but it amplified the attention Moga is receiving both as a potential starter and as a rising social media personality. For a quarterback who hasn't even made his collegiate debut, being linked to Sabrina Carpenter is the kind of PR that can elevate a brand overnight. Moga is far from just a viral sensation. The dual-threat quarterback threw for nearly 1,900 yards and 23 touchdowns in his senior year of high school, while rushing for over 650 yards and 12 touchdowns. Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has praised the depth in his quarterback room, and now with Moga gaining national attention, that spotlight only intensifies.
