Prince William and Kate Middleton release adorable video to mark Prince George's 12th birthday
The second-in-line to the British throne, who was born on July 22, 2013, celebrated the milestone occasion alongside his siblings, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.
In moments shared on the official Kensington Royal social media accounts, William, Prince of Wales and wife Catherine, Princess of Wales, wished their eldest child a happy birthday, releasing a portrait of the future King looking strikingly similar to his father.
The image, taken by Josh Shinner, showed a beaming George leaning against a fence, dressed in a green vest and collared shirt.
Royal fans were also treated to a wholesome video of George playing in the backyard with his siblings. In one moment, George and Charlotte could be seen carrying their baby brother Louis as the trio laughed at the camera.
The young Prince's birthday comes amid speculation about where he will attend secondary school next year.
George, Charlotte and Louis currently go to Lambrook Preparatory School in Berkshire, which teaches students aged from three to 13.
It's expected after his 13th birthday, George will either board at Prince William's prestigious former school, Eton College, where Prince Harry was also a student, or Marlborough College, a coeducational college in Windsor where Catherine was a boarding student.
Sources recently told Mail on Sunday Catherine's hopes were for all three of the couple's children to attend Marlborough College.
'Parents have been talking about nothing else and discussions have really ramped up in recent weeks but security is obviously a massive consideration,' an insider told the outlet.
'Prince George will have to be housed in an 'in house', these are the houses that are around the main quad of the school.
'The 'out houses' are scattered down the Bath Road, and these present more of a security risk as they are just big houses on their own and involve a lot more walking around which is the downside of Marlborough.'
William and Catherine moved their family to Windsor in 2022 to be closer to their school, having previously lived at Kensington Palace in central London.

Ozzy Osbourne died of a heart attack, New York Times reports, citing death certificate
Ozzy Osbourne died of a heart attack and had coronary artery disease in addition to suffering from Parkinson's disease for years, his death certificate said. The singer had suffered from coronary artery disease as well as Parkinson's, according to the certificate filed at a register office in London and obtained by The New York Times. Osbourne died on July 22 at 76. An email from The Associated Press requesting confirmation from the registry office in Hillingdon Council in north-west London, which covers the district where the Black Sabbath singer was reportedly officially pronounced dead, was not immediately returned. His family's representatives have yet to comment on the cause of death, but the document was submitted by Osbourne's daughter, Aimée Osbourne, the New York Times reported. The singer died of "(a) Out of hospital cardiac arrest (b) Acute myocardial infarction (c) Coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction (Joint Causes)," the certificate states. Osbourne, also a somewhat unexpected reality TV star, announced in 2020 that he had Parkinson's disease after suffering a fall. In announcing his death, his family asked for privacy and said that he was with relatives when he died. Fans came out in droves from across the country to mourn his death in his hometown of Birmingham last week. Osbourne had his final show there just weeks before his death, as admirers watched the heavy metal icon perform while seated on a black throne. "I don't know what to say, man, I've been laid up for like six years. You have no idea how I feel — thank you from the bottom of my heart," Osbourne said during his performance. "You're all special. Let's go crazy, come on." AP

Calvin Harris' graphic birth announcement shocks the internet
WARNING: Graphic images. Superstar DJ and dance music producer Calvin Harris has welcomed his first child with his wife, Vick Hope – but his announcement of the happy news has left many on social media shocked. Scottish-born Harris – real name Adam Wiles – made the announcement on Instagram yesterday, revealing his 'superhero' wife had given birth to a boy named Micah back on July 20. Harris included several photos from his wife's home birth, but those who clicked through the full carousel of images were met with a shock. There, in slide four, was a close-up full colour photograph of Hope's placenta, laid out on a bloody sheet. The theme continued in the following images: One showing sections of Hope's placenta cut up into small chunks and placed inside a food dehydrator, and the last shot showing the placenta in its new form, ground as a powder and placed inside capsules to be ingested. Some new mothers do this for the supposed health benefits post-partum. For those playing at home, the birth announcement featured two photos of Harris' new son and three photos of his wife's placenta – a wild ratio. The surprise U-turn left many reeling – including those on other social media platforms, where several tweets along the theme of 'Whatever you do, do NOT check Calvin Harris' latest Instagram post' have gone viral. Mixed in among the many messages of congratulations under Harris' post were comments from those not feeling the placenta-heavy announcement. 'Swiping: 'Oh wow!…. That's amazing…. Congratula…. WHAT THE F**K!?'' one commenter quipped. 'So are we pretending to just ignore that lady's guts at the end?' another asked. 'Didn't expect to see a full on placenta pic whilst eating my lunch today,' read another complaint. 'Congrats on the baby but the placenta pics are TMI,' wrote another fan, while another agreed that the 'first two pics would've been enough.' But others disagreed, praising Harris for normalising the reality of giving birth. 'love to see the placenta!! amazing we grow a whole new organ to provide life! good job not wasting it either, that's some goddess magic right there,' wrote singer Becky Hill. 'Congratulations! Thank you for normalising home birth (and placentas!) with these beautiful pictures. What a dream,' another person wrote. Another asked 'why and how are this many of you this shocked over a placenta? You all shared a womb with one, relax.' Micah is Harris and Hope's first child. Harris wed the 35-year-old radio presenter in 2023, a year after they got engaged.

Ozzy Osbourne's official cause of death revealed
Ozzy Osbourne's official cause of death has been revealed after the rock icon passed away aged 76. The Black Sabbath legend, who died on July 22, was laid to rest next to the lake in his Buckinghamshire, south eats England, home last Thursday. The legendary rocker passed away 'surrounded by love' just weeks after he took to the stage one final time with his bandmates at Villa Park in the British city of Birmingham. In recent years, Ozzy had been battling numerous health conditions, including Parkinson's. His official death certificate lists 'acute myocardial infarction' and 'out of hospital cardiac arrest' under the cause of death section, reports The Sun It also listed coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction as 'joint causes' of Ozzy's death. The document described his occupation as a 'rock legend, songwriter and performer' in a heartwarming nod towards Ozzy. Ozzy's tragic passing comes just weeks after his final performance in his home town – where it all began. The rocker sang five songs in his own set, with fans waving torches from their phones during Mama, I'm Coming Home. He finished his performance with Crazy Train, before confetti rained over a packed Villa Park. After a short break, Ozzy re-entered the stage to join the rest of Black Sabbath for the first time in 20 years. The band performed some of their greatest hits, ending with a rendition of Paranoid. In his last ever interview, the heavy metal icon said his 'final encore' meant 'everything'. Ozzy sang with his fellow founding fathers of heavy metal while seated on an iconic black bat throne. It was the first time in two decades that the original Black Sabbath line-up have performed together. Ozzy had previously vowed that it would be his final performance due to his deteriorating health, having opened up about his battle with Parkinson's in 2020. Back To The Beginning also featured a mega line-up of fellow rock stars, performing their own sets and as a supergroup, and all the profits made will be going to charity. In another poignant twist, Ozzy's daughter Kelly Osbourne got engaged to her boyfriend Sid Wilson at the veteran rocker's final concert. Last Thursday, an 'incredibly emotional' funeral service was held for the rocker, a family friend told The Sun. Tents were erected on the 250-acre grounds of the house Ozzy and Sharon bought in 1993, along with a stage where tributes were paid to the rocker. The home was decorated with pictures of Ozzy, and mourners were given a photograph of him to take home. 110 of the singer's nearest and dearest attended, joining his wife Sharon and his children Jack, 39, Kelly, 40, Aimee, 41, and Louis, 50, his son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley. Stars at the service included Ozzy's Black Sabbath bandmates, Metallica's James Hetfield, punk singer Yungblud and Sir Elton John. Rock icon Marilyn Manson flew in from the US to attend, alongside Ozzy's guitarist Zakk Wylde and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor. The day before, thousands of fans gathered in the streets of Birmingham to pay tribute to Ozzy.
