If you're in a Mamma Mia! state of mind—think twinkling blue waters, tousled beach hair, and chilled proseccos under the sun—then you're not alone. Whether it's a hidden beach in Capri or a yacht cruising along the Amalfi coast, the fantasy is vivid: days that melt into golden sunsets, a sun-kissed glow, and the perfect beach wardrobe to accompany all your summer adventures. But once you've found the perfect body armour deemed necessary for a 'hot girl summer', the question remains—how do you make your swimwear look good outside the clear blue waters?
The answer: the right cover-ups. It's not just about what swimsuit you wear, but how you wear it. Do you keep things simple or playful? Minimal or layered? From breezy sarongs and oversized linen shirts to statement jewellery and chic scarves, the right styling can take your beachside fashion to a whole new level. Take a leaf from the book of the ones who do it best—aka our favourite celebrities. Because the unanimous verdict is: they're doing summer right. Like Bella Hadid's now iconic baggy jeans cover-up, think a basic black bikini top paired with baggy low-rise jeans and a silk headscarf—the right amount of cool for her time under the sun. And just when we thought we'd seen it all, Kylie Jenner stepped out in Venice for a pool day and gave us something entirely new to be obsessed with. And obsessed we are. Spotted at Jeff Bezos's and Lauren Sánchez's high-profile wedding, the reality TV star turned heads in a black latex string bikini styled with a matching crochet pencil skirt.

Here's how to dress for work this summer the Vogue way

Getty It's giving summer, alright. The temperatures in town are hiking up but the calendar says business as usual. Every morning, we find ourselves in the same dilemma—what do we put on for work today? A sleek blazer that screams boardroom ready? Chic, but stiffling. A cute flowy mini to combat the heat? Comfortable, but not exactly work appropriate. And so the cycle continues. It's a familiar question, one that we ask ourselves quite often—how do you dress for work in Singapore, where sun-soaked days and high humidity are the norm, without compromising on style or professionalism? This transitional season is a tricky time, sartorially speaking, especially while navigating between air-conditioned boardrooms and sweltering commutes that feel like a sauna. But don't sweat it; we have a solution—a wardrobe built on breathable fabrics, effortless tailoring, and silhouettes that move with rather than against the weather. For instance, ditch your formal pants in favour of midi skirts that move with ease, or go with a crisp linen pantsuit for a two-piece wonder. In the tropics, the office-bound can in fact have a lot of fun experimenting with fabrics and cuts. Work fits don't have to be boring; the comeback of capris is proof of that. After all, if there's one thing you can control in this capricious climate, it would be your wardrobe. This summer, go beyond slathering on copious amounts of sunscreen and follow Vogue Singapore's guide to surviving the 9 to 5 in style. Getty 1 / 34 Linen suits For those seeking an alternative to traditional pantsuits, linen pantsuits are the perfect option. This lightweight, breathable fabric is both chic and practical, making it an ideal fit for the office. Getty 7 / 34 Any weather midi skirts While we love a risqué mini skirt moment in this humid weather, there's no denying that it could be a serious dress code violation. A midi skirt, on the other hand, offers the same comfort without getting a side eye from HR. Lend structure to your midi skirts by styling them with a tailored vest or a structured blazer. To jazz things up, elevate the look with a scarf. Courtesy of Mytheresa 8 / 34 Any weather midi skirts: Faithfull Corbiere Linen Top, $180 Available at Mytheresa. These are the skin tints to try this summer for a natural glow

The no make-up make-up look. Your skin, but better. The newest codes of beauty dictate a clear and particular direction. To appear like you tried, but not too hard. The brief may be au naturel , but any beauty aesthete will know that it really takes a village to achieve said look. Yet to actually get that much-desired satin, blurred finish, what gives? Beyond a good night's sleep, plenty of water and a ritualised skincare routine, some judicious top shelf pickings are par for the course. A base that illuminates your facial features and offers minimal coverage. Enter: the newest crop of skin tints. We may love a full beat on occasion, but long gone are the days when full coverage was the preferred armour of choice for a regular day under the sun. To replace our heavy foundations, moisturising skin tints were the ultimate disruptors to the beauty market. These sheer, lightweight darlings doled out just enough coverage to feel like second skin; each one designed to soften our imperfections, but never completely conceal them. It was all about embracing the self, and more importantly, letting our skin breathe. Especially with most skin tints being based in moisturiser or SPF formulations, these formulations were often also filled with antioxidants or hydrating ingredients such as squalane and hyaluronic acid. In 2025, skin tints are taking the beauty world by storm. Kylie Jenner certainly earned herself brownie points with Kylie Cosmetics's Skin Tint Blurring Elixir Foundation, with its medium coverage and melt-into-skin finish achieving raving reviews all over the internet. As far as luxury houses go, Chanel Beauty has constantly sought to improve its certified favourite: the Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint that settles into a light, dewy glow. Of course, we can't talk about base make-up without bringing Fenty Beauty into the conversation; the shade range and long-lasting promise of its Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Foundation being one we can't possibly deny. All things considered, we'll concede that the duty falls upon us to advise you— Vogue Singapore's beauty-obsessed readers—on the most worthwhile options in the market. Without further ado, a bird's eye view of the best skin tints to cop this summer, to score a natural, second-skin like glow for yourself.
