TelevisaUnivision, Disney Entertainment partner for distribution deal
May 21 (UPI) -- Spanish-speaking soccer fans will soon be able to watch the FIFA Club World Cup on Hulu + Live TV as part of a new distribution deal between TelevisaUnivision and Disney Entertainment.
Beginning June 3, Univision, UniMas, TUDN and Galavision will stream on Hulu + Live TV. N+FORO, TLNovelas, Bandamax, De Pelicula, De Pelicula Clasico, Telehit and Telehit Music will soon become available to add.
ViX subscribers in Mexico will also gain access to Disney+ starting in June, a press release said.
The TelevisaUnivision president of streaming and digital, Rafael Urbina, said he was "thrilled" about the new agreement.
"TelevisaUnivision is the top producer of Spanish-language content in the world, and this deal underscores two critically important elements: our portfolio is a main anchor for any pay TV distributor -- without TelevisaUnivision, there is no complete pay-TV offering; and our direct-to-consumer business continues to break boundaries as ViX further strengthens its powerful connection to Hispanics around the world," he said in a statement.

Como use Nico Paz as inspiration as club eye move for another Real Madrid starlet
Como are near an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Spanish centre-back Jacobo Ramon, reports from Italy claim, as Cesc Fabregas' side look to try and emulate the formula that allowed them to sign starlet Nico Paz. According to what has been reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, talks are well underway over a potential move for the tall defender after the 20-year-old made his first appearances for the La Liga giants in the 2024-25 campaign. Como look to Nico Paz for inspiration in pursuit of Ramon Nico Paz signed for Como from Real Madrid last summer of a modest fee of €6 million, with the La Liga side retaining a buy-back clause until 2027. Since arriving in Italy, the Argentine has been somewhat of a standout player for Como. In 35 appearances in Serie A last season, the forward scored six goals and assisted a further nine. Now, Fabregas' side will look to wrap up a deal for Ramon – on a similar formula to that which saw Paz join the Italian outfit. He will join on a permanent basis but one in which Madrid will retain the right to buy the player back for a specified period.

Tomori's World Cup hopes boosted after talks with Thomas Tuchel
Forgotten England defender has been handed a World Cup lifeline by new national boss . The 27-year-old won the first of his five caps while still at Chelsea, in 2019. He was an AC Milan player by the time he last appeared for his country in November 2023, in a 2-0 win against Malta. Having been overlooked for Gareth Southgate's 2022 Qatar squad, he is hoping a new lease of life at Milan under the guidance of their new coach Max Allegri, will help him fulfil his dream. 'Every season is important but when it is a World Cup season, it is a little bit different,' Tomori said on the eve of AC Milan's pre-season clash with Arsenal, in Singapore. 'I spoke to Tuchel at the end of last season, before the international break. 'He told me to keep doing what I am doing and keep improving. If I do well and Milan does well then I have a good chance of going. 'Of course it is in my head because I have never been to a World Cup and it would be a really proud moment for sure. 'Every player wants to play for their country and play in the World Cup so there is a different feeling. 'At this moment in time I am just focussing on trying to get ready for the new season and hopefully if Milan do well and I do too then I have a chance.' Tomori has featured 177 times for the Rossoneri and won the 2021/22 Serie A title during his time in Milan. He will face off against Arsenal for the second time in his career, and is adamant the match against Mikel Arteta's side will be a good test for his team. 'I know English teams well, they're tough to play against. We'll have to stay focused. Arsenal are a very good team, it's part of our preparation and whatever team they play it will be a good match. It will be a good preparation for the upcoming season.'
