Prince George 'got Spencer genes' as royal fans point out lookalike
Fans are pointing out Prince George's resemblance to his relatives. The young royal turns 12 today (Tuesday, July 22) and has already grown up a lot since Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed him into the world.
George has quickly become one of the most well-liked members of the Royal Family, despite his young age – and he has even begun carrying out royal duties alongside his parents and other members of the Firm. Now, admirers have pointed out George bears an uncanny resemblance to several members of the Spencer family. Princess Diana – born Diana Frances Spencer – is George's paternal grandmother, and some people believe he looks just like her.
Taking to TikTok, a fan compiled images of George next to other Spencers, proving it's not just Diana the prince resembles.
The video showed side-by-side comparisons of Prince George and his relatives, including his great-grandfather, John Spencer; his great-uncle, Charles Spencer; and Charles' son, Louis Spencer.
"You can even see his Granny Diana in him," the video read, followed by a heart emoji.
Taking to the comments, one person wrote: "He could pass as Charles Spencer son or young Charles Spencer."
Another added: "I can more see Charles Spencer, Diana's brother."
However, others disagreed. One person wrote: "Am I the only one that doesn't see Charles Spencer in him," followed by a crying emoji. "I think he looks more like Diana."
"I've always said Prince George reminds me of Dianas's [sic] father the Earl - first time anyone agreed with me."
Others were quick to point out that George also had features from his mother, Kate Middleton. "He has brown eyes from his mother," one person said. "The Spencer's [sic] are blue eyed."
"I think George looks like his dad, Charlotte looks like Queen Elizabeth & Louis looks like his maternal grandfather," someone else pointed out.
George was born at St Mary's Hospital, London, on July 22, 2013. He spent the first few months of his life in Anglesey, Wales, before his parents - then the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - relocated to Kensington Palace in 2014.
He completed his first official tour with his family in April of that year, which saw the young royal family spend three weeks in Australia and New Zealand.
George has been fully immersed in royal life ever since, setting an example for siblings Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.
Earlier this month, George's parents welcomed Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron to the UK for a state visit.
In a subtle nod to her visitors' home country, the Princess of Wales sported a stunning outfit by French fashion house Christian Dior and a hat by Jess Collett.
The Christian Dior jacket is the 30 Montaigne Rose Des Vents Bar Jacket and a piece from the 2024 collection. It was reimagined by Maria Grazia Chiuri, who was inspired by the original first created in 1947 by Christian Dior himself.

Two hours of stamping later, and her laundry room had gone from plain white to being covered in the gorgeous floral print. Baylee said: 'You know what? It worked out for me.' And she wasn't done yet. TikTok user @lifeatthelma showed how she had picked out a gorgeous sage green paint and had then taped a decorative stencil to the wall. She thought everything had gone swimmingly, until she peeled back the stencil to reveal her hard work. To her horror, the paint had spread until the stencil and it looked messy and not like the design she had wanted. After she pulled off a larger section, she joked: 'But do we think it is giving cottage core (the goal) or chain link fence?'

Woman who lives on cruise ship reveals top ‘gross' habit she sees from guests
After living on a cruise ship for six months out of the year, a woman has pointed out the most disgusting habit she has seen from her fellow passengers. Christine Kesteloo, a 44-year-old business owner and content creator on TikTok, recently spoke to Unilad about what she notices when she is aboard the ship with her husband, who works as a chief staff engineer. While she told the publication that living on a cruise ship 'feels like a constant vacation,' she did admit that everything is not sunshine and rainbows. 'As far as gross [parts], I don't like when guests go to the buffet directly after the gym, [and] don't wash their hands,' Kesteloo said. Despite the drawback, the TikToker pointed out that she mostly enjoys her cruise life, noting that her ship only carries 1,400 passengers compared to larger and more commercial ships that house at least 5,000 people. 'Most of the 'myths' you have heard about cruise ships are wrong,' Kesteloo added. 'Yes, I do drink the water, and no, you can't fall overboard unless you are doing something you shouldn't. Cruising is safe.' However, the best part of living on a cruise ship, according to her, is the extra perks. 'I have been to 109 countries. I also don't have to pay for petrol, food, make my bed, do my laundry, or clean my room,' she said. Kesteloo also noted in an interview with The Mirror that every time she and her husband are on the ship, they stay in 'the best cabin in the whole entire ship.' The only amenity she does not take advantage of is the boat's casino. 'I am not allowed to sit at a slot machine and play my heart until I win because it would look a little weird if I, as the wife of the chief staff engineer, won like a big jackpot. So I am not allowed to gamble on the ship,' she said. And because her husband is an employee on the ship, she tries to ensure the guests are given priority over her. 'If the pool is packed, I make sure to get off and give the guests a seat, it's just the right thing to do,' Kesteloo said. 'I totally understand how to give guests the best time, and I don't think a crew member taking their seat is the right thing to do.'

I bought my own Build-A-Bear machine on Amazon – it cost less than one visit to the shop and you can make multiple toys
Plus, how to buy a bear for as little as £1 BEAR WITH I bought my own Build-A-Bear machine on Amazon – it cost less than one visit to the shop and you can make multiple toys Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) MANY people have a fond memory of going to Build-A-Bear as a child to make a personalised teddy bear. However, one mum shared how she found an official home kit on Amazon which meant she could make multiple bears at home with her kids. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Kristin Miller bought a Build-A-Bear Workshop stuffing kit on Amazon Credit: TikTok/kristinniclemiller 3 She was able to make bears at home with her kids Credit: TikTok/kristinniclemiller Kristin Miller bought the Build-A-Bear Workshop Toy Stuffing Station on the online retailer, where it is currently listed for £39.84. In a clip on her @kristinnicolemiller_ account, she wrote: 'My favourite kids' find ever. 'This is my new go-to gift idea for kids!! Sooo cute yall.' This home stuffing station is a mini version of the real one at Build-A-Bear Workshop, giving kids the full experience of building their own bear—all from the comfort of home. It features an easy-to-use push-pump handle that fills your bear with fluff, while the secure nozzle keeps everything in place as your cuddly companion comes to life. After adding the sweet heart inside, your bear will be created and you can dress it in the outfit that comes with the pack. There is even a birth certificate to document the arrival of your furry friend. The kit comes with two unstuffed bears, ready to make into sweet cuddly toys for your child, however you can get additional bears to stuff for £12.91 from Amazon. The price of a classic Build-A-Bear varies depending on the size and type of toy, but a classic toy costs £25, meaning you'd typically have to fork out £50 for two. The at-home kit could save you some cash, and also be a great way to keep children entertained at home on special occasions. Brits urged to 'look in loft' as 5 popular 90s toys could make you serious money Many people were hugely impressed at the kit, with one saying: 'This is the best thing ever!!! I am going there tomorrow and definitely gonna pick this up for Christmas gift for my 2 girls!!!' Another added: 'I had this growing up and have been looking for it for my kids. THANK YOU!!!' And a third commented: 'Saving this and getting it for my niece this Christmas.' 3 Each kit comes with two unstuffed bears, but you can buy extra bears on Amazon Credit: Amazon PAY YOUR AGE Build-a-Bear's "pay your age" scheme means you pay your child's age for a bear on their birthday. You can grab the discount in your birthday month and for a bear that would normally cost £14, rather than on any toy which can cost up to £50. So if your child is turning seven, then you'll only need to pay £7 for the toy. The minimum payment is £1 though so if your baby is under one-year-old then you'll still have to fork out a quid. The Pay Your Age birthday month offer is available in stores only to Build-A-Bear Bonus Club members, but it's free to enrol.
