Silverstone hosted the first F1 world championship race in 1950, just three years after the track was first laid out using a decommissioned World War II airfield. He finished the 2024 season with a team-best 82 receptions for 1,149 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. McConkey had the 10th-most receiving yards and 19th-most receptions of any NFL player. He helped Los Angeles go 11-6 McConkey's record setting season continued in the playoffs. Los Angeles fell to the Houston Texans in an ugly 32-12 loss, but McConkey set the NFL rookie receiving yardage record (for an individual playoff game) with 197 receiving yards, nine receptions, and one touchdown.
