WWE Night of Champions 2025 takes place this Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It marks the 11th time in WWE history that Night of Champions has been held as its own standalone premium live event (PLE), with the last iteration coming in 2023, also held in Saudi Arabia.
Saturday's event is headlined by an iconic clash between Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena and his longtime on-screen rival, CM Punk. It will be the first singles match between Cena and Punk in more than 12 years, and first championship match between the two since 2012.

In addition to Cena vs. Punk, the finals of both the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will be held, with the winners earning a championship opportunity on their respective brands. On the men's side, Randy Orton returns to the final for the second year in a row and will battle Cody Rhodes. The women's final pits rising star Jade Cargill against one of the most dominant women in WWE history, Asuka.
The six-match card is rounded out by a United States Championship match between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, a street fight between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez, as well as a singles contest involving Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross.

WWE commentator Corey Graves made the announcement while discussing Morgan's injury on Raw Monday. Advertisement Morgan is currently one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions alongside her partner Raquel Rodriguez. WWE has not announced what will happen to the titles. Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder June 16 during her match against Kairi Sane on Raw. The incident happened shortly after the match started when Morgan received a single-leg takedown from Sane. The move was performed properly, however, Morgan yelled in pain and the match was immediately paused. Morgan had recently attacked Hall of Famer Nikki Bella with the segment appearing to set up a match between the two; however, the bout will now most likely not take place.
