Part of Highway 6 just outside of Mount Forest was closed Wednesday morning after a collision involving a tractor trailer and a pickup truck.
Ontario Provincial Police said the intersection of Highway 6 and Sideroad 2 West/East was closed as emergency responders worked in the area.
No potential reopening time was given.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact OPP.

One person dead after fire in North York: paramedics

Toronto paramedics say one person is dead following a fire in North York on July 3, 2025. One person is dead after a fire broke out in North York, paramedics say. Toronto Fire Services said the outdoor fire started behind a building near Eglinton and Victoria Park avenues and has since been extinguished. Toronto Paramedic Services told CP24 that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details have been released. Images from the scene show that a nearby wooded area has been blocked off with police tape as an investigation gets underway. Fire Chief Jim Jessop is expected to provide an update at 7:30 a.m.
