Former Juventus star Miralem Pjanic feels the Old Lady should sign Sandro Tonali to strengthen their midfield: 'He's just what they need.'
Ex-Juventus midfielder Pjanic tells his former club to sign Italy international Tonali this summer.
The Bianconeri have been looking for midfield reinforcement for weeks, regardless of the latest issues with Douglas Luiz.
Tonali was linked with a move to Juventus before the end of the season, when Cristiano Giuntoli was still the Bianconeri director.

Now, Damien Comolli has taken over at the Allianz Stadium, but Pjanic believes Juventus should still go for Tonali.
'I would sign Tonali; someone like him is worth the effort. He's Italian and has great potential,' Pjanic told Gazzetta.
'He won with Milan and has continued to improve in England. He's humble, strong, and with a touch of quality: what Juventus need.'
Juventus have made several key changes within the club, hiring François Modesto as the new technical director and promoting Giorgio Chiellini to a more prominent role.

'I always have Juventus in my heart, and I'm happy to see Giorgio at the club – someone who brings stability and a sense of belonging, appreciated by players and fans alike,' said Pjanic, a former Juventus teammate of Chiellini.
'Chiello loves Juventus. He knows the history and the locker room; he will be incredibly valuable.'
Pjanic played 135 games under Massimiliano Allegri at Juventus, more than under any other coach. The Italian has now been appointed as the new Milan boss, so what does Pjanic expect from the Rossoneri?
'I often talk to Max, we had wonderful years together at Juventus,' the ex-Juventus and Roma midfielder replied.
'He's a friend and it's great to see him in Milan. He and Conte are the best in Italy, the most successful. Few handle the pressure like Allegri. Milan are aiming to finish in the top four, but when you have somebody like Max on the bench, it's normal to expect even more.'

Lookman Slams Atalanta Behavior in Inter Negotiation

Ademola Lookman made his feelings known via social media by openly asking out and citing unfilled promises after Atalanta formally rejected a €45M package from Inter. According to Mediaset, the Nigerian star and La Dea aren't on the same page about the conditions of his departure. The attacker and his camp believed he could leave for €40M. Instead, the hierarchy wants to sell him to a top foreign team. They haven't countered the recent bid by setting an asking price. The counterparty won't make more moves until that happens. In addition, they have to give part of the income to RB Leipzig. Inter are well aware that Lookman wishes to join them and isn't accepting other destinations for the time being. Despite their intention not to turn it into a saga, they haven't abandoned the pursuit and pivoted toward other forwards. Per Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta), in terms of fallback options, the Nerazzurri have done the most homework on Christopher Nkunku. He's on his way out from Chelsea, but he's more expensive considering his wages. Jadon Sancho is also an option until he doesn't head elsewhere. The Orobici ace has the same agents as Karim Adeyemi, but they haven't discussed the Borussia Dortmund cornerstone yet. He wants to stay despite the rumors. Our Take on Inter, Lookman, and Atalanta It's déjà vu with the Teun Koopmeiners ordeal, and the Bergamaschi might be strategically captious with entourages. Considering the fees circulating nowadays and his contractual situation, they have no reason to facilitate his exit and could easily demand a lot more than what has transpired so far. After all, their obstinacy has paid dividends more often than not.

Millot and Al-Ahli push Atletico Madrid towards Napoli's Raspadori

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli reportedly have an agreement in place for the signing of VfB Stuttgart attacking midfielder Enzo Millot, which could steer Atletico Madrid towards the signing of Italy international Giacomo Raspadori from Napoli. According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ahli have verbal agreements with both Millot and Stuttgart, despite previous links with Atleti and Premier League side Tottenham. 🚨🇸🇦 EXCLUSIVE: Al Ahli agree deal to sign Enzo Millot from Stuttgart, here we go! Surprise move to hijack Atlético Madrid deal, despite Spurs links Millot will play for Al Ahli. Verbal agreement done on player/club side. Board and coach Jaissle with huge effort on this one. — Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) August 4, 2025 What Millot deal means for Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Raspadori As Atletico are now expected to miss out on the signing of the 23-year-old, reports indicate that their attention will revert to a different target in Raspadori. The Italy international, along with Millot and Juventus's Nico Gonzalez, have been mentioned in recent reports as potential attacking additions for Diego Simeone's side. According to updates from Raspadori's have recently travelled to Spain to hold discussions with Atletico Madrid. With Millot out of the picture, Atletico are expected to push forwards with an attempt to sign Raspadori, according to Calciomercato's report. Napoli, meanwhile, have no real intention to sell, but could reportedly be tempted by offers in the region of €35m.

Report – Inter Milan Open To Paid Loan Deal With Cagliari For Italy U21 Striker

Inter Milan are reportedly open to making a paid loan deal with Cagliari for striker Sebastiano Esposito. This according to Cagliari-based newspaper L'Unione Sarda, via FCInterNews. It has always looked clear that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter Milan this summer. The Italian youth team international has gone out on a number of loan spells. He has played for the likes SPAL, Venezia, Basel, Anderlecht, Bari, and Sampdoria. Last season, Esposito was out on loan with Empoli. While his individual form was strong, this was not enough to prevent the Tuscans from suffering relegation to Serie B. Therefore, Empoli did not sign Esposito on a permanent basis. The 23-year-old returned to Inter, with whom he travelled to the United States for the Club World Cup. Esposito even started a couple matches for the Nerazzurri at that tournament. However, that hardly changed his fate – he is not a part of Inter's plans. La Viola have reportedly spent the last few weeks eyeing up a deal for the 23-year-old. However, Cagliari are also reportedly keen on signing Esposito. The Rossoblu have been advancing in talks with Inter for the past few days. And according to L'Unione Sarda, a key question has been whether the transfer will be a permanent sale, or a loan. Inter have been hoping to sell Esposito outright. And on the other hand, Cagliari are keen to sign Esposito on loan. According to L'Unione Sarda, Inter have started to open up to the idea of a loan deal.
