The 29-year-old Circles hitmaker, who's currently embroiled in a custody battle with ex-fiancée Hee Sung 'Jamie' Park over their 3-year-old daughter, had only just ended his whirlwind romance with the younger stylist on Sunday.
Post began dating Christy shortly after splitting from Jamie last November, making the sudden breakup all the more jarring for fans.
Now, with the emotional drama seemingly weighing on him, the Grammy winner lost his footing mid-performance in Arizona — and it was all caught on video.

A section of the stage suddenly gives way beneath him, sending Post tumbling off as fans scream in shock.
The stunned fan who filmed the moment later posted the footage online with the caption, 'I didn't mean to almost break your back.'
Luckily, Post wasn't seriously hurt and powered through like a pro, going on to perform five more songs.
On Sunday, sources told TMZ that Post Malone — real name Austin Post — quietly split from his girlfriend Christy just under a month ago.
Whether the breakup was amicable remains a mystery.
The pair first sparked romance rumors back in January when they were spotted on a cozy dinner date in Rome.
In March they appeared in a TikTok video shared by a fan who spotted them at a bar.
The pair put on a loved-up display, with Christy's hand was wrapped around the singer's arm as they sat at upper level of the venue.
The White Iverson hitmaker is in a custody battle with his ex Jamie over their three-year-old daughter, who is referred to in legal documents as 'DDP.'
In May he petitioned a court to hold the proceedings in Utah, with legal documents submitted by his attorney Laura Wasser stating that he is raising the child there.
Park filed a similar request in Los Angeles County court, petitioning the court for primary custody, with the pop star getting nominal time.
However, Post told the court that she strategically filed in Los Angeles for perceived advantages in the court battle.
Wasser pointed out to the court that the exes' daughter has a number of essential ties to Utah.
Listed among them was her nanny, pediatrician, music classes, physical education, and swimming.
The Texas-bred musician announced the birth of his child in June 2022 without disclosing her name.
At the same time, he revealed he was engaged to the baby's mother but kept his fiancée's identity private, with fans taking to calling her 'Jamie.'
Throughout his short-lived romance with Christy, the performer and his then-girlfriend were spotted on multiple lavish outings in Europe and the states.
In Park's court filing, she asked that her ex cover her legal costs.
She also revealed that their daughter was born in May 2022.
Sources previously told TMZ that Post filed for custody in Utah because he and Park had previously been splitting custody down the middle in the state.
However, the insider added that it's also to his financial benefit, as Utah is less generous with child-support payments than California.

Kylian Mbappé at last made his debut at this Club World Cup as the competition enters the knockout phase, coming on to face Juventus two weeks and four games after he was hospitalised with a stomach virus that saw him lose five kilos. But while the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami chanted the Frenchman's name, roaring as he made his way to the halfway line, and stood to hand him an ovation when he entered the fray, the excitement overflowing, it was the kid heading in the other direction for whom Rita Hayworth is family but most of them had not heard of a month ago, who had taken Real Madrid into the quarter-final. For all the focus on the most famous names, for all that this month, this experimental event, needs them, every tournament has its revelation: this World Cup has a 21-year-old madrileño. 'I knew this competition was the opportunity of my life,' Gonzalo García said after he again showed that it is one he is determined, and equipped, to take hold of. From another Cambiaso delivery, Francisco Conceição headed Juve's second chance at Courtois. Madrid, playing with three central defenders, had control if not a huge amount of incision in those early phases. As the half went on though, openings appeared and increasingly often. In the middle of it all, Fede Valverde, as ever, was everywhere firing off shots. By the time he was withdrawn, exhausted, to applause in the 89th minute, the Uruguayan had racked up seven. 'He makes life easier,' Alonso said. From one of them in the first half, Di Gregorio dived full length to save and the keeper would have a busy afternoon, sticking out a leg when Valverde got deep into the area and pulled back soon after. Next Arda Guler, growing into this in the playmaker role that looks increasingly like becoming his permanent place, lifted over his marker and almost got the ball across. Just before the break, Alexander-Arnold did, but his delivery raced right though the six-yard box.
