Honor X9c makes its way to India
Michail, 07 July 2025 Following its global announcement in November, the Honor X9c is now making its way to India. The device pairs midrange specs with a focus on durability and a 6,000mAh battery with 66W wired charging. Honor X9c in Titanium Black and Jade Cyan X9c is built around a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz) and is equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It also boasts a 108MP main camera (Samsung HM6) alongside a 5MP ultrawide lens and boots MagicOS 9 based on Android 15. Honor X9C also gets an IP65M ingress protection rating, with the M standing for 360° protection from water jets. Honor is also advertising a drop resistance of up to 2 meters, which is SGS certified. Honor X9c comes in Titanium Black and Jade Cyan colors. Pricing is set at INR 21,999 ($255) for the 8/256GB trim with open sales scheduled to kick off on July 12 from Amazon India. Realme 15 Pro render leaks
Vlad, 07 July 2025 Realme started teasing the 15 and 15 Pro at the end of June, and today a purported render depicting the latter has been leaked. Interestingly, it kind of looks more similar to the Realme 14 than the 14 Pro it's replacing, which had a circular camera island. Speaking of which, the 14 Pro arrived back in January and the 14 joined it in March. So it's intriguing to see Realme already teasing their successors, after such a short time. Of course, the launch of the 15 and 15 Pro is probably still a few weeks out at least. The source of today's render says this colorway could be called Flowing Silver. Additionally, the 15 Pro is rumored to come in Velvet Green and Silk Purple. The Realme 15 Pro will have a 50 MP main camera, and allegedly, the Pro model should be getting all of the 'premium' features so far reserved for the Pro+. Does this mean there won't be a Realme 15 Pro+? It's unclear, but we wouldn't be surprised. As you can see from the render, the screen has very slim bezels and a centered hole-punch for the selfie camera. On the back there seems to be a semi-transparent design. Realme has already confirmed that both the 15 and the 15 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon chipsets, and will have AI Edit Genie on board, that will let you edit photos with voice commands. According to a previous leak, the Realme 15 Pro will come in four RAM/storage versions: 8/128GB, 8/256GB, 12/256GB, and 12/512GB. Samsung unveils new security features built into One UI 8
Samsung today announced a new suite of security and privacy updates that will be available in One UI 8 based on Android 16. The company also very strongly hinted at the fact that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 will be the first handsets to launch running Android 16 with One UI 8 on top. With One UI 8, Samsung is introducing Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP), which creates "encrypted, app-specific storage environments within the device's secure storage area, ensuring that each app can access only its own sensitive information and nothing more". KEEP helps secure your "deeply personal insights", such as routines and preferences, that enable features like Now Brief and Smart Gallery search, while supporting Samsung's Personal Data Engine (PDE). Those personal "insights" stay entirely on device, protected by KEEP and further secured by Knox Vault, Samsung's "tamper-resistant hardware security environment". KEEP protects Now Brief, Smart Suggestions, Samsung Moments, and "other on-device features that rely on user-specific inputs", thus enabling "more advanced AI experiences" without compromising privacy. In One UI 8, when a device is flagged for "serious risk", such as system manipulation or identity forgery, it will automatically be signed out of the Samsung account, cutting off access to cloud-connected services to prevent threats from spreading. When this happens, you'll be notified across your connected Galaxy devices. Samsung is also bringing post-quantum cryptography to Secure Wi-Fi, in order to strengthen network protection against emerging threats. This secures the key exchange process at the core of encrypted connections, ensuring "robust privacy" even over public networks, somehow.
