The visiting delegation was headed by Bakhit Saeed Al Qurs, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department and Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Summer Committee, accompanied by Ahmed Ali Al Salman, Programme Director and Chairman of the Supervision and Follow-up Committee. The delegation was received by Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club; Saif bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee at the club; and Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the club. Comprehensive visit During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the summer programmes and events organised by the club within a comprehensive framework that combines entertainment, education, and skills. The tour included several modern facilities, such as the indoor swimming pool, the multi-purpose gym, and the shooting hall, which received special attention due to the precise and professional training it provides to participants. The delegation also attended part of the club's daily cultural competition and several sports and competitive activities aimed at strengthening team spirit and developing the physical and mental capabilities of members. Addressing the needs of different age groups During the meeting, Al Dhaid Club officials emphasised that this year's summer programmes were designed according to well-thought-out scientific and educational principles, addressing the needs of different age groups. They contribute to instilling values of belonging and discipline, and fostering creative thinking among participants.
