Set against the scenic backdrop of a village at the foothills of the Western Ghats, the story begins on April 5th, 2020. As COVID-19 safety instructions play on TV, we meet a couple—Praveen ( Yash Shetty ) and Divya (Harshitha Ramachandra)—arguing over the phone. Praveen longs to see Divya, but she is hesitant due to lockdown protocols. After some convincing, she sneaks out of her home. Praveen picks her up, hides his bike in the bushes, and takes her to a secluded spot in the nearby forest.
During their conversation, Divya reveals she has waited long enough for Praveen to settle down. As the eldest of four daughters, family pressures have mounted, and she's accepted another marriage proposal. Just as emotions peak, word spreads in the village that a couple is hiding in the forest. A group of villagers, eager to catch them in the act, sets out to confront them.
What follows is a gripping escape, not just from the villagers, but also from a terrifying goon with his own agenda. As they navigate this tense situation, the couple must also face the unresolved complexities of their relationship. The film explores whether they can outwit their pursuers and confront their personal dilemmas.
The narrative is layered, not only focusing on the protagonists but also delving into the lives of other interconnected characters. Told in a non-linear style, it frequently jumps back in time to reveal the events that shaped key moments. While most flashbacks are engaging, a few slower segments briefly disrupt the flow.
At its core, the film is a simple yet nuanced story about love, pressure, and escape. While Praveen and Divya's relationship anchors the plot, the emotional depth extends to others entangled in their own struggles. Yash Shetty and Harshitha Ramachandra bring sincerity to their roles, but Ugramm Manju, as the fierce and unpredictable antagonist, leaves a strong impact with his screen presence.
Though the film avoids dramatic spikes, it remains steadily engaging, unfolding its mysteries gradually and letting tension and emotion breathe. Shot in the lush greenery of the Western Ghats and grounded in village life, it creates an immersive atmosphere. The music elevates the film and stands out as one of its key strengths.
Rather than building to a dramatic climax, the film resolves its conflicts in the same steady rhythm it maintains throughout. There are no major twists or high-stakes payoffs—just a quiet closure to the journey. This is not a film that aims to shock or overwhelm. It's a calm, adventure-thriller best enjoyed with a bucket of popcorn—an easy, laid-back watch set against a lush natural backdrop.

Tara Sutaria Feels It's 'Difficult And Lonely' To Navigate The Industry As An Outsider

Tara Sutaria says navigating Bollywood as an outsider is lonely and tough. She wishes she had guidance and support early in her career. Tara Sutaria is one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood. She made her big Bollywood debut with Dharma Productions' Student of the Year 2, co-starring Ananya Panday and Tiger Shroff. As she completed over five years in the industry, the actress opened up about how, as an outsider, it is difficult to navigate the business, calling it a 'lonely task." In an interview with The Times of India, Tara looked back at her journey and shared, 'It took many years to get used to a lot of things and to understand how the industry functions and works… It has also been a very difficult and lonely task to manoeuvre and navigate so many things because when you're not from the inside, you don't have anybody to really discuss things with or seek advice from." 'There have been so many instances in my career where I wish I could have had guidance. I wish I could have had people from inside the industry help me out," Tara further added. She also feels that when someone from inside the industry joins the business, they already have a lot of knowledge about how it functions. Tara Sutaria was recently in the headlines during the wedding of her ex-boyfriend and best friend, Aadar Jain, and Alekha Advani. She again made news after rumours of her dating actor Veer Pahariya surfaced. It was reported that the rumoured couple recently went on a dreamy vacation to Italy. Veer, who belongs to a prominent political family and is the grandson of former Maharashtra CM Sushilkumar Shinde, was previously rumoured to be dating Sara Ali Khan. He later made headlines for his frequent public appearances with Manushi Chhillar. Tara, on the other hand, was in a relationship with Aadar Jain, cousin to Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. The two parted ways, and Aadar later married Tara's friend Alekha Advani in February 2025. Tara was briefly linked to actor Arunoday Singh post-breakup, but she dismissed the rumours, calling him 'just a friend." Whether or not Tara and Veer are Bollywood's newest couple, their Italian holiday has certainly caught everyone's attention. First Published:

Tara looks back In an interview with The Times of India, Tara looked back at her journey of being in the film industry. Tara said, 'When I began my career in films, I didn't know a lot of people in the industry, and I was new to a lot of this whole world of filmmaking. So, it took many years to get used to a lot of things, and to understand how the industry functions and works... It has also been a very difficult and a very lonely task to manoeuvre and navigate so many things because when you're not from the inside, you don't have anybody to really discuss things with, seek advice from'. She feels a lot of people who come from filmy backgrounds have a lot of inside information about films. Over time, she figured out her own space. In the interview, Tara shares that things can be tricky when one is a 'relatively reserved and introverted' person. 'There have been so many instances in my career where I wish I could have had guidance, I wish I could have had people from the inside of the industry help me out. In my experience it's best to listen to your gut and intuition for your own career,' added Tara. Right now, she is happily focusing on quality work rather than quantity. About Tara's career Tara, who gained popularity with Disney sitcom The Suite Life of Karan & Kabir, entered Bollywood with Student of the Year 2, Marjaavaan, and Ek Villain Returns.
