Big Breeze: From the Streets to the Stage, Guided by Faith

Atlanta rapper Big Breeze, known for his raw authenticity and street gospel sound, recently opened up about his transformative journey from a life of hustling to becoming a voice of faith and hope in the music industry. In an exclusive interview, Breeze shared his story of redemption, his influences, and his purpose.
Growing up on Atlanta's west side, Breeze described his early life as a struggle to survive. 'I was in them streets, man, trying to figure it out,' he admitted. 'Selling drugs, toting guns, just trying to get some money. Nine-to-fives weren't an option for people like me.'
The turning point came when he felt an undeniable call to change. 'I was in the trap, tired of the lifestyle—gambling, serving, looking over my shoulder every two seconds,' he recalled. 'I heard a voice say, 'Go to church.'' Initially hesitant, Breeze eventually walked into a church and was stunned to see one of his former drug suppliers there. 'It shook my world. I thought, 'If he's here, maybe there's something here for me too.''
Breeze's music reflects his unique journey, blending street influences with a message of faith. He credits artists like Future and Young Thug for inspiring his work ethic and sound, though he's clear their messages don't align with his current path. 'It's not about what they talk about—it's their science, their melodies. I wanted to make music that hits different.'
Now, Breeze sees his purpose as bridging gaps. 'I come from the streets, but I'm here to show we're all one kingdom under God,' he said. 'I want to bring people together—street gospel, mainstream Christian, all of it.'
His latest collaboration with Kijan Boone and our very own Trendsetter Sense, 'Pop Out,' featured on Reach Records' Summer Twenty-Five Playlist , showcases his growth. 'I just wanted to rap, let it all out,' he said of the track. 'When I finished, I knew it was special.'
Big Breeze's story is one of resilience, faith, and purpose. 'I'm sold out for Christ,' he declared. 'No matter what I look like or where I come from, God gave me all this.'

Nintendo reportedly asks Switch 2 owners what they think about its controversial game-key cards, and yeah, I don't think it'll be lacking in replies as players rally to "keep telling them how big b******t" they are

Confusingly, they're physical cards that are inserted into the console, but they only contain a permission that allows you to then download a game. The company has reportedly sent out a questionnaire in Japan asking gamers to tell it how they feel about the new commodity, and people aren't holding back. An Automaton article (written in Japanese and translated via Google) has been posted to Reddit, and it states that the survey is asking Nintendo users for their honest feedback on the key cards – even if they have complaints. The survey reportedly asks questions about the experience of using the new key cards, such as how satisfied players are with them and if they've experienced any inconveniences or concerns when using them. I can't read Japanese, and I don't trust Twitter's Grok translations, but there are plenty of English comments on Reddit to comb through – we may not have the survey in the West, but people are still keen to share their opinions. Nintendo is conducting a questionnaire about the "key card" of Nintendo Switch 2. Seeking honest opinions, including dissatisfaction in Japan from r/NSCollectors "Just keep telling them how big bullshit key cards are," reads the top comment. "It'd be awesome if something came of this, key cards ain't it and I can only hope Japan tells Nintendo that en masse with this survey," replies another dissatisfied customer. I can understand the frustration. For a while now, physical game boxes have sometimes come with digital download codes rather than actual game discs, and I hate it. This feels like an extension of that. A benefit of digital games used to be how easy they were to download. But now, with game-key cards, you need the physical item to install the software, as well as play it once it's been downloaded. So, you may as well just have a regular cartridge. For now, check out all the best Switch 2 games you can play – will you get them physical, digital, or the secret third thing, game-key card?

Ahead of its remaster, GOG added one of my favorite D&D videogames to its preservation program and is also giving owners of the original a 'loyalty discount' on the enhanced edition

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. First spotted by Blue's News, GOG is showing some love to Neverwinter Nights 2 and its fans ahead of the launch of the game's enhanced edition this week. The original game has been added to GOG's preservation program, and owners of NwN2 on GOG have a 15% off "loyalty discount" on the remaster, one that stacks with the 10% off preorder discount. The preservation program is a commitment by GOG to use its own developers to keep games running (and running well) on current and future versions of Windows. NwN2 has already benefitted from its inclusion: The game received its first update on GOG since 2015, finally fixing a black screen issue that has vexed me for years. The loyalty discount is also mighty neighborly, but as much as GOG Galaxy is the only launcher other than Steam I enthusiastically use, NwN2 Enhanced Edition still has a big draw on Valve's storefront: Steam Deck. NwN2 Enhanced has been verified since before it was even officially announced, and while it's possible to get GOG games working on Deck, it's a big hassle. As for what all the fuss is about, Neverwinter Nights 2 is a phenomenal D&D and Obsidian classic I would love to see get its flowers in the post-Baldur's Gate 3 era. The Enhanced Edition will offer a bundle of four huge RPG campaigns for $30, and while NwN2's mod scene was never as big as NwN1's, there are still some lauded campaigns there to check out like The Maimed God's Saga. The Enhanced Edition releases on July 15 on Steam and GOG, and that's also when the preorder discount ends and the loyalty discount drops to 15% from 25%. 2025 games: This year's upcoming releasesBest PC games: Our all-time favoritesFree PC games: Freebie festBest FPS games: Finest gunplayBest RPGs: Grand adventuresBest co-op games: Better together
