‘Captain America: Brave New World' is now streaming: Where to watch
The Marvel superhero adventure, starring actors Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford, follows Sam Wilson (Mackie) as he takes up the Captain America shield in the wake of a global conspiracy that "puts him on a collision course with the fearsome Red Hulk," according to Disney.
USA TODAY's Brian Truitt gave the film ★★½ out of four, writing that director Julius Onah's geopolitically tinged 'Brave New World' "is an unruly narrative that starts as a paranoia thriller (a la 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier') and devolves into a campy 'Hulk smash!' fest."
However, Truitt praised Mackie, a 10-year veteran of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying he "faithfully has taken the Captain America mantle from Chris Evans and given Cap new swagger and vulnerability."

Where is 'Captain America: Brave New World' streaming?
"Captain America: Brave New World" is available to stream on Disney+. The film released on the streaming platform on Wednesday, May 28 at 12 a.m. ET (9 p.m. PT on May 27).
The film, which made its digital debut in April with the home video release featuring three deleted scenes, including one that debuted exclusively on USA TODAY, is already available to buy and rent on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango.
"Captain America: Brave New World" was released in theaters on Feb. 14, 2025.

Watch deleted scene from 'Captain America: Brave New World'
The exclusive deleted scene shared with USA TODAY is set in Washington, D.C., and features Sam Wilson sparring in a boxing ring with Leila Taylor (Xosha Roquemore), a Secret Service agent working for President Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (Ford). Sam tries to get info on a classified mission from the tight-lipped Leila, which ends up being a trip down to Mexico for Cap to recover stolen adamantium from the villainous Sidewinder (Giancarlo Esposito).

Sacha Baron Cohen's Pumped Transformation From Borat To Marvel's Mephisto: Photos
EXCLUSIVE: Marvel chief Kevin Feige said in a press gathering this week that Sacha Baron Cohen's Mephisto character will be prominent as the next MCU supervillain. For his part, Baron Cohen transformed his physique as evidenced by the cover of Men's Fitness UK. Baron Cohen has plunged himself into character creations like Borat, Ali G and Bruno, but the work he put into his body with Alfonso 'The Angry Trainer' Moretti indicates playing a shredded Mephisto is more than a one-off for the actor. Compared to Borat's rather hairy visage in the lime green singlet, Baron Cohen's transformed physique is buff, and well, bald. The changes he made through hard and consistent training, coupled with a diet high in fiber and protein and low in sugar, are startling. Maybe not quite as startling as when Deadline unveiled Jake Gyllenhaal's washboard abs transformation to play the boxer in 2015's Southpaw, but a decided change from what Baron Cohen looked like in comedies like Borat and Talladega Nights, and dramatic turns in The Trial of the Chicago 7, and the miniseries The Spy. McConaughey suggested Moretti. In their first Zoom call, Moretti made Baron Cohen strip down to his underwear. The trainer described the actor's body this way: 'He looked like a ruler, straight up and down,' but he also detected in Baron Cohen 'an athlete in hiding.' The actor was not a slouch as for years he has been working with a kickboxing trainer when time permitted in his busy production schedules. Moretti took on the challenge, and Baron Cohen applied a method actor's discipline to the task, starting with 100 pushups per day. He was disciplined and consistent in the short but intense training sessions the trainer put him through, even while he was away filming. The results came quickly, enough that Baron Cohen's Mephisto costume had to be altered a time or two to reflect the improvements in his physique. Mephisto originated in the Silver Surfer comics, and factored into comic book storylines including Avengers villain Thanos, and Spider-Man. Feige said the character is a devil who presents Faustian bargains to hero characters, but the Marvel chief would not elaborate on how the character will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is undergoing a reset with two new Avengers films. Baron Cohen made a surprising debut as Mephisto in the finale of the Disney+ series Ironheart. The actor described his own condition at the start of his workout regimen as 'having the core strength of an arthritic jellyfish.' But he said that the short but intense sessions have left him feeling in the best shape of his life. He believes it is something others can emulate, tailoring their workouts to their own physique goals and time limitations. Disney World just announced a new attraction that will make fans feel like kids again
If you visited Disney's Hollywood Studios back in its Disney MGM Studios days, you may remember The Magic of Disney Animation. The attraction opened with the park in 1989 and invited guests to witness Disney's animation process firsthand, peering into a working studio, where films like 'Lilo & Stitch' came to life. It wasn't quite the same after Disney shuttered its Florida-based animation operations in the early 2000s, but the attraction evolved and continued to celebrate Disney Animation until 2015, when it was closed and replaced by Star Wars Launch Bay. Now a decade later, Disney has announced a new Magic of Disney Animation is in the works for a new generation of guests. Here's what fans should know. When is The Magic of Disney Animation opening? The new Magic of Disney Animation will open at Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2026. Disney hasn't shared an exact date. Where will The Magic of Disney Animation be located? The attraction will be located in Animation Courtyard, which will be reimagined as The Walt Disney Studios. It will be where Star Wars Launch Bay is now. The Sorcerer's Hat is coming back The Star Wars Launch Bay building will be transformed to look like the iconic Roy E. Disney Animation Building in Burbank, California, where Walt Disney Animation Studios is based. Like that building, it will be topped with a huge Sorcerer's Hat. For years, a massive Sorcerer Mickey Hat served as the symbol of Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney-MGM Studios, and was a popular photo backdrop for guests. This one won't be the same, but the nostalgia factor is notable for fans who've said goodbye to longtime staples like Muppet*Vision 3D, Tom Sawyer Island, and parts of DinoLand U.S.A this year. Many fans have already expressed their excitement on social media. What to expect from The Magic of Disney Animation "Our story in this newly reimagined space begins as the animators have temporarily stepped away... but the building is still buzzing with activity as the characters have come to life and they're ready to play!' Disney shared on its official Disney Parks Blog. It's unclear how the experience will unfold, but Disney says the characters will be part of 'playful and interactive moments,' like in the Emmy-winning short film 'Once Upon a Studio' created for Disney's 100th anniversary. There will also be a short film, drawing lessons (which the previous Magic of Disney Animation also offered), and for young guests, a Drawn to Wonderland playground inspired by Disney Legend Mary Blair's concept art for 'Alice in Wonderland.' What else is coming? The new Walt Disney Studios space will host a new Disney Jr. show, character greetings and trees offering shade to guests. 'And make sure to look around, too,' Disney's blog post said. 'You never know who you might see playing in the branches, soaking up the sun or digging in the grass.' What's closing at Disney's Hollywood Studios? Star Wars Launch Bay and the live show Disney Jr. Play and Dance! will permanently close this September. Their last day of operation will be Sept. 24. The recently reimagined Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure will remain.
